    I love your reviews, I love your playing,
    I love your disposition, sincerity, honesty, humor, and humility.
    Not needing to be "cool" makes you very cool. As a grandfather, I can tell you that your grandfather is looking down and smiling as you tell his story. Thanks Mike.
    P. S. I had no idea the video was over an hour long because it was so enjoyable to watch.

    Hey buddy, I remember the phone call well and chatting to you about the Cutlass. I knew the first time I heard you play it that it just sounded like your guitar and that it belonged at home with you.

    Enjoyed your video and stories!! I had a Blue Strat but with a rosewood neck around the same era. I believe Fender called it gun metal blue😳Also have a 335 around same era as yours and quality is exceptional! It’s my number one as well! Hope your wife recovers well, stay safe and healthy!

    Great tour, Mike! Since you like semi-hollow bodies, I’d highly recommend a semi-hollow Gretsch (you can get them without the Bigsby). I love mine, and it definitely has a unique vibe from a 335. I’ve also played what I think is that same D’Angelico in the Anchorage Guitar Center-while it looks Gretsch-y, the humbuckers make it sound more Gibson-y.

    When you get to a certain level, one understands that each type of guitar design has its own songs in it. Weird, but true!

    REALLY NEAT collection you got there, Mike! My favorite is your blonde Telecaster and your green Strat.
    Those Taylor’s are so nice! I’ve got a 214CE K DLX (basically same one as yours except a little jump up in quality since it’s the next model up. And since it’s the “deluxe” one - it has special Koa wood).
    Love that Revstar, too! I’ve heard great things about those. They’re really modern looking - a bit too much for my taste. But I’ve heard nothing but good things about them and their quality. A few of my fave guitarists use them.
    Agreed about relic’d guitars!
    I’ve got 5 electrics, 2 acoustics, and a bass. So not as big of a collection as you - but building it up. I just bought a new one the other week, haha. You’ll probably see it during our lesson in 2 weeks.

  • @BedeLaplume
    @BedeLaplume ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You reminded me I should get a Yamaha Revstar one of these days.. I remember when the headstock broke on your LP.. You said Lespaul are pussies compared to Strats.. 😁 Anyway I got also myself an LP Standard.. It sounds like a ton brick as you said a beast.. My only beef with the 335 and 435 is their very expensive price tags.. I mean Lespaul are expensive but these ones are way over the top for guitar made of plywood.. They sound and look awesome but I certainly got myself more than a match for at least 1 K less... Mind you as a professional player you can justify the expense if you felt in love with it..

    • @MikeBradleyofficial
      @MikeBradleyofficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hear you. But yes I will say my 345 is one of the best sounding guitars I have ever played. Have had it for 7 years now and have used it a lot so it’s early it’s keep now haha

    • @BedeLaplume
      @BedeLaplume ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MikeBradleyofficial It's expensive but usually players will keep them for life.. It's an iconic guitar that wrote Rock and Blues history as well as Jazz.. You can play almost anything with it.. Except perhaps Country because it won't twang as much as a telecaster. .
