Ever since I have obtained non-able, I have not changed. This spirit has allowed me to combo a large portion of the bosses into oblivion. Using it on your 3rd light, or doing a quick 1,2,dodge into non-able, it’s just perfect for extending those staggers
I wasn’t great with Non-Able but I used him for a run just because of the buffs he gives. I’d pair him with spellbinder, the lightning charge staff, a self poison build and as many attack buffs as I could, then I’d get in the boss’ face and hold deflect. Almost every boss died in under 10 seconds just stagger locked to death. The weak little twirly deflect spin annihilated their hp bar. The whole run that’s all I did, get up close and ‘chainsaw’ them down. Very glass cannon-y though.
@@Aman-oy7lu spirit skills use Qi, not mana, they are not relate at all (spirit skills+ vessels use Qi, spells use Mana except transforms that use Might, heavy attacks use Forcus)
This tierlist is good for general use, but if you're wearing the Golden Set which gives Qi every critical hit then everything changes. Now the Apramana Bat is S Tier giving basically free stun, combine that with the Plantain Fan for even more stunlock, and even more with Immobilize. Now the boss is helpless. Staff spin is now your bread and butter for generating fast crits and focus for you to unleash pain.
@@blkjohnnybravo3506 my last hit on erlang was with apramana bar it kinda carried me. But now I use flintstone for the crazy damage he deals out but same I wear golden armor and can usually get flintstone off twice and that is just game over for any boss
Earth Rakasha! Slam down for high damage and leave a shield where you slammed. Enemies hitting the shield get knocked back like they hit a deflect. You can camp behind the shield and charge, or fight next to it so every hit on you also hits the shield and stops the enemy. Pair it with Ring of Fire and you can set up really cool strongholds.
Pillar stance, spell bind w max mana+ crit/damage skillls along with the Golden Loong staff + armour can relieve any boss of their life in a minute. This is with the use of gore-eye. non-able and the loong amplification med. At the start of the boss fight you have a second to Cast gore-eye transformation and spell bind. If you’re quick enough you can re-equip to non-able, golden loong (from spike shaft with mana boost) and curios to boost crit / bonus damage. Before exiting the menu, use the loong amp med that’ll exit the menu. If you’ve already built up 3 focus (like with ginseng pellets), hold heavy/pogo, drink a damage and the crit / first atk boost gourd /drink / soak and smack whatever it is in the head. Since you should have 40%+ crit chance you have close to a 1 in 2 chance of the first hit to crit while your damage on first attack is over 500. You’re also protected from most initial boss attacks since gore-eye buffs the boss as well, while you are chilling out on top of the world enjoying rice wine. For cinematic effect, timing the attack just after the Destined One audibly queues his well hydrated state with an “ah!”
Just figured out how Spellbinder actually works so have been using a combo of Gore Eye for the mana buff>spellbinder>switching back to non able or father of stones for the crit bonuses. If you combine it with the poisoned buff armor set your attack goes up an insanw degree. Then paired with a loong pill buff, crit chance goes up to 30%. Just insane damage.
Falcon Hermit is my favorite spirit to use. Anytime im stuck on a boss or if a boss moves to fast i bust out falcon to freeze them in place. Falcon my goat.
The Red-Haired Yaksha has the highest passive damage buff for heavy attacks, although its active is quite mediocre. Great middle ground for people that want a massive heavy attack with minimal set up. The passive is BiS for the heavy attacks and is stronger than the passives the mad tiger, tiger acolyte, and turtle treasure provide at max upgrades.
I agree, I debated with myself if I will include him in my top 12. but for sure he is in top 20 if I made that list that long. Its passive is simply a wonder.

I only play with Red haired Yaksha and Fungiman. Their passives are massive. Easily takes out the boss in 4 heavy charges. Fungiman has very high damage if you can time it right.
Apramana Bat with the Golden Armor is S tier all day. Essentially constant stun locks. Stun lock, Build Qi again, stun lock, build Qi again. Just need a bit of skill to get close enough to use your staff twirl to build it quick.
Apramana Bat should be higher. Once you build high enough crit chance (Fuban staff is great for that), the gold set and staff spin give so much qi that you can stunlock bosses almost 100% of the time with the fan and the bat, having almost always one of the 2 available. Crow diviner also works pretty well although I feel it's a bit more difficult to stack the freeze effect if the boss moves a lot.
Yeap no doubt your suggestion works, tested a lot of these however I felt the cost simply too high for a cc but yeah it will do well if it crits. Agree with Crow diviner as well this is the reason why it fell on top 13 onwards.

So much so I feel significantly weaker when I'm not using it and no matter what build I am playing in NG+5 I always use it.

@JRPGSamurai honestly I like the poision scorch and thunder one about the same, the Shockwave one is alright but for me it knocks em back and sometimes out of the attacks, but I don't get that one much.
Gore eye Daoist isn't the number one to me , like if you get canceled during spirit you loose it and blood staff isn't there and you probably not gonna do it again in boss fight,Non-able should be N°1 to me like Low Qi cost adaptable to combos so you can for exemple final light combo after,it stun on ground slam , and 3 passive stats for just -1 stats the mana, number 2 is maybe Wandering wight as much as hate to say it cause everyone is using it i have to admit he is very strong, and the frog is number 3 just cause it apply status effect and deal good damages im just kinda sad it has a bad passive like adding for exemple increase all 4 status damages and it will probably be N°2 on the tierlist for sure.
Hmm, its easy to avoid it being cancelled though and I mentioned it, you don't need to hit the enemy with it as I mentioned. And Non able is one of the best indeed. I use it a lot myself. What a spirit!
Its good, easy to put on my top 20 list. The problem with it is, fast moving targets usually can get out of the AOE frost field. Apramana is way better with the right kind of setup, its easy to gather Qi
@@JRPGSamurai Gives Jingubang a bunch more crit and damage reduction across the board, the skill that leaves an exploding clone upon perfect dodge also applies thunderblight, etc. (called Better Great Sage Suit on Nexus)
The bull horn armor set has a horrible design, disabling the perfect dodge apparently opens up your hit box range for enemies, and the defensive do not feel any different when getting hit... I just wanted to throw that in there
I did my final run with it (ng+4) and it felt crazy strong early game but DAMN later game fast guys were kicking my ass. It really felt like a detriment since I was getting hit bu attacks I was convinced I dodged. I couldn’t properly dodge any of great sage’s level 4 hits with that armor on, but once I swapped I was dodging everything.

@JRPGSamurai yeah, I like it but it has just a bit to much knockback
@@tylerfrazier9406 way to go!
Bull governor didn't even make the list?
What is the background music name?
Its wukong's main title theme.
@@JRPGSamurai thank you ❤️

Tigers Acolyte is top 3 personally
Way to go Cordell, its an awesome Spirit for sure! I am currently building a dedicated setup for it.
@@JRPGSamurai Qi cool down and Critical hit build with fan and Spirt is unmatched
@@cordellfrank1798 Imagine if the devs made it low qi cost insrtead of moderate. I will be crazy
How do you do the move at 0:29?? Please reply D:
It’s a full focus attack for smash stznce
If you put a certain amount of sparks into stance category you get 4 focus points with the 4th one being temporary when you get it
@@lemonke1339 ohhh ok much appreciated!!!
Hello, I believe you are referring to the max charged smash stance and yes indeed, you need 4 charges unlocked in your tree and max the gauge out.
Thanks for the tip!
Frost bat is s tier as it freezes everyone
No non void is insane lol
Crow diviner ????
Its good, easy to put on my top 20 list. The problem with it is, fast moving targets usually can get out of the AOE frost field. Apramana is way better with the right kind of setup, its easy to gather Qi
I was the 1.000 like my breddah
Meaning?
Non able is by far the best
Yeap definitely up there Sidney. Unique and dynamic.
Defense is only viable for dark iron staff builds
Correct, But if you will ask me, 70% of the majority will use the Dark Iron, Original Wukong setup in NG+4
@@JRPGSamurai agreed, though I installed a stronger wukong armor mod for ng6 to change stuff up
@@misterdragon9253 oh what does it do?
@@JRPGSamurai Gives Jingubang a bunch more crit and damage reduction across the board, the skill that leaves an exploding clone upon perfect dodge also applies thunderblight, etc. (called Better Great Sage Suit on Nexus)
@@misterdragon9253 cool sounding! Sounds a lot of fun man, what I want to install it the mod that gives the exact percentage of item effects.
I do agree with you that I really want to see the detail of value, not just moderately,slightly,.. I hate those sh*t exxplaination
Yeah I don't know why Game Science did it like that sigh.
Qi is pronounced chee
Ah yes, a follower pointed this as well. Thank you Naza.
This is why I see the original wukong armor better than this one.
How many play through Suh’s does it take to upgrade all spirits?
Oh I did not track, when trying to complete all of the content to NG+4, maxing them all, came naturally.
