Your piece is so beautiful! I do have to say I wish you would show more close ups of the stitching instead of long shots. Especially as you maneuver in the tighter spaces and corners. It would be so helpful for those of new to punch needling :) One question - your beginners kit has a number 10 Amy Oxford, but on this piece you list the 14. Do you use the 14 more often or both? Would love guidance on when to use different needles. I have the Amy Oxford 10 and 10 fine. Thank you!
Thank you Pamela! That’s really great feedback aswell, I will do more closeup shots in my next video. I prefer to use the 14 needle when doing a piece like this where only the stitched side will be showing. If you use the 10 for this kind of work you are wasting a lot of yarn in the loops on the back. I think the 10 is a very versatile needle that you can use for both stitched finished pieces and looped (or a combo of both) that’s why I include that needle in my kit. Hope that makes sense. 👍🏻
Watching this calmed my nerves. Thank you.
Watching this again to accompany my own punch needle crafting ❤
