Your video was so inspiring that I am currently making a floating frame to hang my punchneedle projects. It is very nice to see that you can also make this list without the help of expensive machines. so everyone can make it. Your works are beautiful! 👌 and it's so relaxing to watch your videos.👏 Love your cat..🐱😊 Thank you!

I thought you might like to check out the channel The Last Homely House and watch wonderful Kate make a proggy rug using a large rivet from a boatyard. The rivet makes an interesting punch needle. And you will I’m sure enjoy meeting Kate.😊
@@HandsofaMaker so excited! I have been loving punch needling and embroidery for a while and you are feeding my obsession! Can’t wait to see more. Post notifications are on :)
Your video is so relaxing, informative without words. It’s like a documentary. Quite a skill! I was wondering what program you used to make your drawing. Thank you for sharing your art and knowledge! By the way, I never visited Australia and it looks so beautiful I’d like to go...hopefully soon!
Hi laura, thank you so much for your kind words. I drew the drawing by hand, then imported into Illustrator. Oh you should definitely come to Australia one day, it truly is a wonderful place. :)
This is amazing, just purchased all the punch needle tools but was really confused about how I would hang the final product especially if I want to gift it to friends/family....not sure I can produce the frame as you did though so any alternative methods would be appreciated! Just subscribed too as would love to learn more.
Vee Patel thank you so much for following along! Yeh it’s a tricky one knowing how to finish the piece. I’ll try and put together a video of different methods of framing soon. 👍🏻
Loved this video! Def. the one that made me subscribe! I couldn't find any others like this! Keep up the amazing content! Would you be able to maybe make a video about tips for needle punch?
Hi Mary! Thanks so much for subscribing, and liking this video. I have plans on making many more videos on punch needling. It's such a great craft to learn, so want to spread the knowledge of how to do it with as many people as I can. So stay tuned! :)
Can I ask where you get the framed fabric? It looks like an artist canvas but I read that you need a special fabric for punch needle art. Did you also DIY it?
Hi Yenchia. Yes you do need a special fabric for punch needling, it's called Monk's Cloth. You can buy it online. I used this fabric and stretched it over an artist canvas frame (with the original canvas taken off). You will need a staple gun to affix it as it has to be super tight for the punch needle to work. Hope that helps!
It depends on the type of needle you are using and whether you have the right needle for the monks cloth. If you are using an amy Oxford needle, the fine needles work well with yarn up to 8ply and the regular can take yarn up to 16ply.
May I ask what punch needle size you used? I'm using one from Amazon and the back of my canvas is incredibly fluffy and completely undefined, should I be using a finer needle, like a size #14? Thank you for your help!
Hi Erica, I'm using the Oxford punch needle #10. I think it's a ¼ inch tall loops. Maybe the one you are using has a much higher loop so it's looking more fluffy? Hope that helps.
Beautiful video. Beautiful picture. Just...beautiful! Thank you for creating something so very special.

Hi! Do you buy your canvas pre-wrapped or do you wrap it yourself?
Your videos are so beautiful, inspiring, relaxing and informative! How do you film these and edit them?
Beautiful. What program did you use to transfer your design from paper to digital? Love it.
Lovely video! What app did you use to convert the scan to a vector?
What kind of frame and fabric is that? The one you punched on where can I buy one like that?
What size or weight yarn do you use?
