Weird that people all over youtube put oil in the engine? The genuine Yamaha manual below tells you to fill it from just the oil tank…… Install the crankcase engine oil drain bolt and the engine oil tank drain bolt, and then tighten them to the specified torques.Tightening torques:Crankcase engine oil drain bolt:23 Nm (2.3 m·kgf, 16.6 ft·lbf)Engine oil tank drain bolt:19 Nm (1.9 m·kgf, 13.7 ft·lbf)12. Install the engine oil filler cap, and then tightenit to the specified torque.Tightening torque:Engine oil filler cap:12 Nm (1.2 m·kgf,8.7 ft·lbf)13. Pour only 1.3 L (1.37 US qt, 1.16 Imp.qt) of thespecified amount of the recommended engineoil through the engine oil tank filler hole, and then install and tighten the oil tank filler cap.14. Start the engine, rev it several times, and thenturn it off.15. Remove the engine oil tank filler cap, and thengradually fill the oil tank with the remaining oil quantity while regularly checking the oil level on the dipstick. Recommended oil:See page 10-1.Oil quantity:Without oil filter element replacement:1.75 L (1.85 US qt) (1.54 Imp.qt)With oil filter element replacement:1.85 L (1.96 US qt) (1.63 Imp.qt)

how much in engine and how much in oil task in liters?
.5 liters in the engine case, and .9 liters in the oil tank

@@youahmark7136 2 quarts is a bit much but you would probably be fine, put .6 quarts in the case and 1 quart in the oil res and your good to go

how much oil did it take
I put half a quarter in the engine and a full quarter on the oil tank. Start the engine and let it warm up and check to see if you need more👍🏻
