      @@meetjozo7993I'd also like to chime in saying that you rock! So many people miss all sorts of boats, simply by listening by the mainstream narrative and not taking the steps in the right direction. I'm also actively researching market in Saskatchewan, at the moment. We're familiar with renting out in BC, but would like to branch out somewhere where prices are lower and cashflow is actually possible. I have a question, (and maybe it's answered in the video, I haven't finished watching yet, sorry if it's covered) how do you find rentals in PA, or other areas of Saskatchewan? Do you have a rental agency? Is it hard to find people to rent out there?
      Hvala puna!

    When you buy a house for $250,000 and pay $125,000 in interest to buy that house mean does that mean the house is now worth $375,000

    • @saskatchewanrealestate
      @saskatchewanrealestate  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In my opinion, a house is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. If you buy a house for a million dollars and in two years someone else will pay a $100,000. It is worth $100,000. On the inverse if it appreciates and someone is willing to pay $2,000,000 then that is what it is worth.

      @@saskatchewanrealestate housing is supposed to go up in value over time! But still does the interest increase the value of the house?

    • @saskatchewanrealestate
      @saskatchewanrealestate  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Housing goes up in value because it is a hard asset and the currency in which you buy a house (typically) devalues over time (inflation). If we were to experience deflation, its likely the price of the homes would come down on a macro scale.
      Interest payment on a property has no affect on the value of the home.

      @@saskatchewanrealestate $250,000 usually has mutiple problems aswell which increases your cost. Investment is good in the future if you bought the place at a low price and didnt take 25 yrs to pay it off with $150,000 plus in interest. 10yr minimum should be what people should shoot for if not keep renting/saving if you cant afford a 10yr mortgage. Houses also can devalue when land taxes get high(trust me ive seen it happen to many times to count) devalue because of location is a another factor.... so no money doesnt just devalue, only reason housing is stubbornly high is because we dont build enough homes with some of the most land available in earth. We need to start building 4-500,000 homes a year, with our record immigration we are obtaining.
