    So much love and respect for the great Dalai Lama.
    Today and tomorrow (day 2) I will not write a summary. But I will on the Jan 10, 2021 DL video with Greta.

    After 1:02:15 the Dalai Lama said that through love and compassion, any community can have peace. This can be extended to the whole world. North an South Korea have the same language, same religion, and are the same race. In political terms you make differences between yourselves. Now you should come together through the teaching of love and compassion. In Buddhism, we don't think in terms of our own country. We pray for ALL beings to have happiness, and be free from suffering. Think about the oneness of the whole world, and don't discriminate between 'us', and 'them'.

      It's not a belief system. All the Buddha taught was the "truth of suffering" and the "truth of the ending of suffering". If you have no suffering in your life then it is not appropriate for you at this time, or you are already fully enlightened! However, all negative emotions (fear, anger, jealousy etc...) can be considered to be forms of suffering, and who does not experience negative emotion at least several times a day?

    I sometimes spar in what I pretend is a very zen way with the Dalai Llamas great wit evident in his cheeky smile and twinkling eyes and I do it all in my head and the Dalai Llama is always so thrilled to see me there. Usually he wins but I’m starting to think that is because he didn’t realise he was competing which might be embarrassing I’m not sure, but it is greatly worth it when I win for His Holiness is a dharma olympic champion at zen mental fencing in my head. We have solved the worlds problems he and I in our epic battles using his dharma. Silly world hasn’t realised her problems are solved already and keeps exploring lessons in what not to do by doing them.

    I have been having a debate in myself about strong emotion and I find peaceful calm much easier but passion is a hormone that is important, when not like an animal passion can power great living experience and bring the demigods to liven things up to loves truths in living experience, so is there a non-threatening or only peaceful threatening (I think there is a difference there often misunderstood even by one so great as myself) peace that allows the strong emotion? I have only seen it truely in practice with some forms of Spanish dance (tango and flamenco in some dancers only) where there is great sexual and sensual desire, a powerful flirtation, restrained by a refusal to be an idiot in romance the most sacred of dances, or at least not to be an idiot in the dance. And also I have experienced it the few times I have been able to make fairytales come to reality. But in normal life I have mostly been quite stupid in passion, as if the local animals have tried to urge me to do like them with it. Don’t dismiss it either, animals do that in some angles of our reality.

    • @WeAreAllOneNature
      @WeAreAllOneNature 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In what way have you been able to make fairytales come to reality?

    • @cgametheory1423
      @cgametheory1423 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@WeAreAllOneNature before the mental health system inadvertently ruined my life through cruel ideas of normality and etiquette pushed by tyrannical “civilising” influences that turn out to be prideful lack of wisdom that works in some stupid monkey impressing ways based on a few simpleminded principals some of which were more ideal in a naive way but needed to address far more ecosystems of survival truth even where they promoted ethical and moral truth, virtue just needs to make the good from evil but do it in virtuous ways, that is how to see the buddha nature in everything, even predators, yet most “civilising” influences are denying where nature has myriad important symbiotic principles in every aspect of the natural world. Especially in compassionate terms the equal importance of the ideal for every individual and every species together, with common ground and understanding. If when overpopulation happens a species does not lower birth rates then predation must happen or large parts of the ecosystem unravel.
      But before that mental illness diagnosis I had several dharma vision living moments, entering a mythical awareness of the dharma of the world on a farm where a cow was lying down in a small field and also a cow corpse was in the field and the cow lying down as I could see mind in the revelation of the light, was meditating on death and that meditation became mine. I understood death in the physical mind way of enjoying life gratefully at peace with it’s wisdom and the decay of the body and the continuing mind but not exactly the continuation of the personality of our human interactions that we enjoy in social humanity, even alone when that mystical human personality is lonely. Rather the continuing shared mind of nature on Earth.
      Then walking with my two female friends to another pasture after that a mythic vision in respect of American Indians beautiful speeches about white mans lies and their pride about money and owning other life as commodities being likely to make us all extinct, and the vision was reality physically with adventure in the mind context and there were maybe 20 cows and a pale horse in that same pasture we entered and the cows lined up in a straight line between us and the horse all looking at us and the adventure myth context was that heroically I was supposed to rush powerful as a hero of nature and scatter the cows and leap upon the horse and be temporary hero of the world as I galloped around proving I wasn’t just another regular fellow. But I didn’t run and leap on the horse because I thought my faith and skill and promises to the natural world might not be enough for it to turn out safely.
      Then to another field where I found my common adventure wisdom and we all ran down a small incline like joyous children and one of my companions said that She saw a fairy without wings but using tied butterfly wings tied to her arms to fly and I said with child innocence thrilling wisdom that that joy of the fast beating heart in such a happy run is where the fairies live. And that time when the fairytales were real we had taken magic mushrooms but I knew in my silent almost negligent hidden dharma that people forget to find those places without drugs as I had experienced them sometimes as a boy and sometimes I think all the time hidden in the darkness because people are too afraid to believe things might be nice for a while as work is on Monday and sensible is on everyday and famine may come and we wouldn’t want to enjoy ourselves then and a few other reasons which in no way outnumber the millions of reasons to live a safe enchanting glorious life living each other superbly with adventure non-violent.
      So that’s just a taste, several superb fairytales without drugs too as beautiful as that, but it stopped when I was forced on medication, and it has been hard not to be angry and there has been such heartbreak ever since, some of it bad karma but even more of it misunderstandings.

    • @cgametheory1423
      @cgametheory1423 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WeAreAllOneNature haha, I just remembered one of the fairytale experiences off drugs maybe months before the farm, I had read some sufism (islamic mysticism) and listened to some Sufi music and in the theosophical spiritual bookshop in my city I found an ad for attending whirling dervish sufi ceremonies but when my girlfriend drove me there at the specified time the number on that street to attend was missing yet the number before and after for that street was there. So I got out if the car and looked around but nope, no street number I was looking for just some school of which the street number was before or after and in the driveway a sort of coat of arms and a pearl of wisdom motto which was significant but I can’t recall it and I came to think whirling dervishes were there where didn’t exist between what did exist but not there where they oughta be. And that was mere mystical interpretation, but perhaps it was my first gem of interpretation of that sort in the place where consciousness is most present in the material world. Not as much an adventure but definitely a faith in life as a delicacy was enhanced by that positivity I found going out of my way to not find what I was looking for.

    • @WeAreAllOneNature
      @WeAreAllOneNature 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cgametheory1423 That is interesting. So, did you not get to see the dervish ceremony that day? I wonder what your girlfriend thought about how they weren't there. It sounds like something from Harry Potter.
      I agree about nature causing predation to reduce overpopulation. Although, with humans, because we don't have conventional predators, I believe that nature will use things like Covid-19, or worse. Also potentially humans destroying humans eg world war 3, or social collapse. If those don't halt human population increase, then surely global warming will increase until the human population is small again.
      Your insight after the the dead cow sounds very Buddhist. Valuing life, yet accepting how fleeting your personality and body are. I had never thought of how being in the shared mind of Nature means we never need to be lonely. Lovely. It is like the ultimate conversation. Connecting to everything.

    • @cgametheory1423
      @cgametheory1423 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WeAreAllOneNature some people on hallucinogenics report such mystical experience some have more terrified visions or over complexities about perceptions in human interaction which are like insight if we can use them or can be poorly interpreted in over animalistic ways which can lead to paranoia or confusion. Often in altered states of some types of opening of awareness we can sense human status interaction which is revealed to be disturbingly apeish, and that can cause greater compassion if we are prepared for it or it can cause paranoia and skittishness as we begin to understand everyone around us effects us greatly by their attitude towards us based on our attitude towards them.
      Even sometimes we realise people and creatures of the neighbourhood effect the mental web of life and it can effect our mood and life direction. It may be one of the reasons mystics emphasise compassion and forgiveness and that so much conflict is misunderstanding, because clumsy attitudes can curse or bless and realising that we make things worse without compassion. Others on hallucinogenics just have nice feelings and a more alert awareness in some of the senses, or sometimes bad feelings.
      When it happened that I had wonderful fairytale experiences off drugs it was usually an attempt to enhance my visual perception of the world including sight with enhanced colour and detail perception and mystical dharma or romance or fairytale interpretation of my sight as that sense was what really made it seem real and alive, sight and understanding about what I saw.

      I hear what you're saying it is laborious to listen and receive the message, but boy I could never do what the translator is doing - especially with these heavy teachings. All these Sanskrit words thrown in amidst the Tibetan and English... Woof. I am just thrilled to be able to receive these teachings; and for that matter, nothing worth having comes easy! Lol

    Now we can say nar land her about the Earth because through the great Namaste of greeting the myriad deities in each other we find that it must be that each atom is as vast as the night sky so we can land the Earth on the back of a Turtle to gently stroke Her hair to bring peace and sustainability to the World. This is my secret not yours, and I share it with the Buddha God who through being safe for beings evolved rapidly at warp speed and hides in the invisible beard of The Dalai Llama who is a bit slow to poke the World and make Her make everything ok for our children the living beings. Perhaps those of us who try to make peace and love and sustainability make easy simple sense so that we as life can stop the hurting and get on with the superb stuff, should make these precious things seem not to make sense so that all our leaders and bosses and confused followers and sleeping demigods adopt the plan immediately?

    It’s very difficult to translate ‘emptiness’. Purifying subtle mind... there are deeper meanings if go further and associate with actual practice physically and mentally... it’s beyond language...

    My zen wit is powerful as it is subtly offensive but, and as you may have noted I am supreme in humility, but belief that we are existent makes us much more productive and the slightest skepticism in this has us sitting in meditation wondering what’s the point, it could be so and sew much nicer either way so why are we sitting here when we could be tyrants ruling the world. So Buddhists had to see where we went wrong and replicated the experiment and found most perceptively that it was a lack of niceness of tyrants that made the meditations of tyrants differ from the meditations of Buddhas and so they went back to promoting niceness but perhaps not well enough or perhaps tyrants outwitted themselves and found it was truely great tyranny to pretend to be nice and truely be a tyrant so Buddhas have been stuck only being simple about being nice because tyrants are so stupid that having great minds makes them more stupid by every rise in greatness of mind, the opposite of what should happen.
