how da heck do they stay up in the for so long , i fall so fast everytime i do a jump smash before i can kick my feet i already landed on the ground WHYYYY!!!??? 😕
Ace James dont kick it too strong. If you kick it to strong your body will not stable.Try use ur body to add momentum in ur smash.Jump, lift your leg abit, and then when u jump and use ur all power. The body will automatically follow through.
when i trained in my badminton school team for 11 year olds, we had to do at least 100 jumps for one of our warm up exercises. it made my jump much better than most the basketballers in my school
who can give me the answer i just wonder why most of all offensive player did when they smash after racket face hit the shuttle they will swing the racket like overhead drop shot??
That technique adds more spin to the shuttle, and the racket remains flat before and after to reduce air resistance ,and it happens naturally after hitting a shuttle

Squats, box jumps, squats again. Train.

Use trampoline
bend your knees to add body momentum, overcome your fear of not landing balls of your feet on time. Stay relax 😂
Everyone: looking at their techniques
Me: looking at their stressed faces 👁👄👁
1:05 and 1:46 LYD isn't holding the racket at the bottom. That's maybe 1 reason why his smashes are a bit slower compared to the other 3.
+Daniel Commins It's probably because he's normally at the front of the attacking formation and Yoo Yeon Seong generally is the one smashing.
smash
He actually hits very hard back when he played mixed doubles since he grip the bottom.
Well you get accuracy and faster reflex
Oo, if you can play badminton, you can play volleyball. Or vice versa. I think it'll have a positive transfer.
really?
The smashing motion in badminton looks very similar to the spiking motion in volleyball.
Hoh.
Abigail Carr volley ball will help you get stronger in badminton too
I agree. I play both sports competitively.
Can you do this for backhand shots? Thanks for sharing
It is so satisfiying
i see some of them using panhandle grip rather than a normal basic grip when smashing, does it make the smash stronger?
Wei Jie they only do it from the midcourt after a drive rally mostly
Well it just depends on the time, postion and requirement, and its not a smash, just pronation
Adrian ....come I teach u best moves .....
My friend, what game is this? I wanna watch the whole game. Thanks. Nice upload by the way!
Adrian Aldea 2014 World Championship Mens Double Final
Man, its the best game.
Adrian Aldea where are you from man?
Can’t even see the racket
who can give me the answer i just wonder why most of all offensive player did when they smash after racket face hit the shuttle they will swing the racket like overhead drop shot??
SINCE2551 yaa...i have the same doubt. would the shuttle get sliced when u do that ?
It’s proper pronation technique. They hit it flat and follow through that way
If you don't follow through properly to follow the momentum of the racket you might get injured in your elbow and shoulder.

@@martincstee5335what do you mean by follow through..like they do in the vid or another technique of follow through
KSH
