Man hugs are definitely in for Gen X'ers. I think it's reasonable in my 40's to hug my friends that I grew up with, I quite literally learned how to become a functioning human with these guys, I love them like brothers. We don't have to be emotionally null to one another just because our fathers were taught to suppress everything, and frankly the homophobia of our youth is just embarrassing.
My all time favorite mispronunciation of Joe's is in the B99 intro where Jake is correcting Holt on how to say "whoop" without the h and Boyle goes "I say whewp" 😂❤❤❤

Not to sound like a pedant (but also to sound like a pedant)… the dark ages is an incorrect name for a time period that wasn’t necessarily more brutal than the times before it (the Roman Empire). The name has to do with how much writing that survived from the period, which expands our knowledge of it rather than a value judgment on the brutality of it. And these are names that we imposed on historical periods after the fact.
