Thought I recognised Lochnagar. Happy to see you on my home territory. The approach from Glen Esk is superb lots of side glens with river gorges and craggy cliff lines. Loch Lee of course. The main track you follow is one of the historic Mounth "roads" linking Deeside to the Howe o' the Mearns. The Queen's well is, of course, one of the many! monuments here and on Deeside to commemorate Queen Victoria's excursions from her base at Balmoral Castle. Great shot of the ptarmigan in winter whites!
Did this with my grandson with a weather forecast of potential thunder and lightning. Spent more time staring at the sky than the scenery. It didn't materialise however, in fact it was perfect walking weather. Nice video, well done 👏 !
Another interesting trek, Gregor. Rather you than me in that wind. It's good that you're videos are not so long that they become boring, you show us all we need to see and that's great. Well done mate.
That looks like a beautiful walk, though I could almost feel that wind cutting right through me... These wide glens can be bad for that, it reminds me a little of the walk-in from Blair Atholl to Beinn a Ghlo, although it's on more of an East to West direction. Looks like some of the Glenshee hills to the south of Lochnagar - Glas Maol or the Cairnwell, maybe? Thanks for sharing it with us!
Hi mate, brilliant video, what a stunning day you had in terms of weather, I know it was cold but at least you had the views all the way. I’d say not only is Mount Keen the most easterly Munro it’s up there with the easiest to pronounce! 🤣 Thanks for sharing your day as always, all the best, Dave 😀⛰🥾🏴🏴

Ah I didn’t know that was what it’s for. Cheers for the comment 😊
The Queen's Well monument was erected to commemorate Queen Victoria passing through the area in 1861.

Love it man!! As usual pretty calming and beautifully shot video! Make sure the next one is longer ahaha
Would’ve been a bit longer but the wind was so bad it ruined some of the footage😂😂
@@ScottishSummiteer Yeah that's fair 🤣
