    That was excellent - the light, the drone shots, terrific weather conditions. Mt Keen is another one I am fond of. I nearly got lost once - in clear sunny weather - I mean, how was that possible? Great walk in and from memory (20+ years ago), terrific coffee shop down the glen.

      Thanks Annie 😁 it was a great day out, not 100% sure how you got lost in good conditions but good effort anyway 😂👍

      Was a great day out 😁 and yes more driving than walking - a lot of that this year 😂 you will probably have the same issue?

      @@ScottishMunroJourney yeah James. My nearest new Munro will be around 3 hours now! Saving them for a few weeks as the days lengthen. I got the DJI mini 2. I think that's enough for me just now!

    I'm looking to invest in a solid pair of boots that are crampon compatible and will do me well for the winter and beyond.
    Are your La Sportiva Trango GTX boots the regular or GTX Extreme variant?
    Are these your go to boots year round as well?
    Loving the videos and got me keen to get back on the mountains ASAP!

    • @ScottishMunroJourney
      @ScottishMunroJourney  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi mate, they are the Regular Trango Tower GTX boots, they are honestly brilliant boots, sturdy enough for crampons in winter & lightweight enough for summer. My only gripe is they might be a little bit on the warm side in the height of summer but they are worth it for the waterproofing 😁 I’m onto my 2nd pair now!
      Thanks for watching

      I downloaded the GPX route from Walkhighland and used OS Maps 😁
