Great video! Love seeing the long term stuff! I carry a Tenacious LW everyday and absolutely love it! IMO it is way underrated against all these new companies popping up. This blade has stood the test of time and handles everything I do with it like a champ! Subscribed!
Thank you for your video. Love seeing long time use. I have this Tenacious since 2013 and love it for what it is. Not the best, but I can relate on it. Easy to sharpen, fantastic geometry.
My tenacious didn't come very sharp, but I managed to sharpen it to a level to cut a sheet of toilet paper (holding in the air with my other hand). It's pretty good in the hand and I don't really feel that I need a PM 2 or Para 3 with some premium steel, because the well heat treated 8Cr13MoV does the job too.
Great video, decent EDC knife
got one last week lovin it so far! great review
I have the exact same knife and love it! If you're still looking for a budget replacement EDC I would strongly suggest looking at a RAT 1 or RAT 2 in D2 steel, they are great knives!
I got an r2d2 and it's very sharp and strong/comfortable enough but the thumb stud sits so low into the handle that it's harder to deploy than any spiderco, not a deal breaker for some but it is for me as I've almost cut myself several times when it half deploys and it's not worth the risk to me.
Nice actual review ! I have dozens of Spyderco knives, and recently bought my first Tenacious. A serrated one. It's good to go ! The serrations allows for better edge retention, because like you said the steel is not that good, especially on the edge retention side of things.
hate people that complain about rust I have tons of knives of all steels and never had a rust issue and I livencllse to the ocean in Canada.
they must judt throw them in the closet and forget about them for months or years and that's why they rust
Yeah probably leave them in the boat after fishing and wonder why they rust, some people think stainLESS means never stain 🤷🏻♂️
Oil my knives constantly and get rust on even the most stainless of steels. 100% humidity of the American south east is constant and unrelenting
