- 2015 kicks off with a dreadful weekend display of industrialised cruelty provided by the three bookmaker tracks. Coral’s Romford - Ladbrokes’ Crayford and both the William Hill’s tracks - Sunderland and Newcastle between them see a total of 12 dogs involved in accidents and incidents in just 2 days - either knocked down at the first bend or breaking down at other points around the track.
On Friday Lode Henry - Lann Jacob and Romeo Concorde all fall at the first bend in the 22.11 at Coral’s Romford track. Lowgate Zircon fails to finish after breaking down after the 4th bend.
250 miles north sees Altmover Ace breaking down on the back straight at William Hill’s Sunderland track and in the 20.42 - Pinpoint Lily and Mill Zeus are sent crashing to floor at the first bend.
The following day - Saturday - the second William Hill’s track - Newcastle - sees Blackhouse Seeka and Shellam Noah bought down at the first bend and it’s no different in the south where Yacht Spirit and Suncroft Norma are also ‘taken out’ at the first bend at the Ladbroke’s owned Crayford dog track. Earlier in the 21.06 Ferndale Bunny falls away from the race after taking a hit at the first bend.

Why were these kinds of people born to do this to animals..
They are throwing them aside after they retired. Bob Barker had greyhounds on his show for adoption once they were cast aside. Bob Barker and Betty White were great advocates for animals.

I believe they have either drones or sniper on board no way do you see is type of carnage all the time I've just seen it happen to two favs on the dogs didn't finish the race when someone puts huge money on a dog I strongly believe the Deploy a sniper or drone
Just so you know. In my country denmark we have greyhound racing. And the dogs love to race here. They are happy and when they hear the machine with the tied dead rabbit on they begin to bark because they cat wait. So no its not cruelty everywhere. Some places we actually take care of our dogs. I mean at my home we have had over 7 greyhounds. They were all in injuries but recovered and instead of either putting them to sleep or never being able to run again. We took them to our homes..

It's wonderful seeing greyhounds getting to do what they love most which is to run and run and run. It's a beautiful thing.

How was that the bookmakers cruelty . Random box/trap draws sometimes rail runner draws outside and wide turn runner draws inside and that's what happens ..stupid gaslighting video
Therese dogs are not forced to race, they want to run and like to race it's what they were bred for its in there instinct. Accidents do and will happen it's part of the life in racing as f.1 drivers, Moto GP riders etc in any sport there is a chance of injury!! As long as the people to do with the sports make it as safe as possible to all that participate then why not, without greyhound racing within twenty years greyhounds will be extinct!!!!!

Nonsense. They act like dogs never fall. Some are clumsy and fall frequently.
The sport is not neglecting anything, some owners do not take proper actions to injuries but the dogs are doing what they were meant to do, and they are bred to run. The same injuries can occur when an off-leash dog spots a rabbit, just because they are running in a ring doesnt make it any different.
It’s unfortunate how some people assume ALL of them are abusing the dogs. Some, if not most, really care for their dogs..
How do we know these dogs were injured or neglected. All I see are dogs falling down while running. This video shows no signs of the dogs being injured or neglected nor does it show any abuse to the dogs by the owners or trainers. The owners and trainers care for the dogs.
