Its their natural instinct to run but some people would have them cosy up on a settee watching TV all night and feeding them sweets.

I used to love having a bet on the dogs but not any longer they just don't run to form you will see a strong finisher in the lead and it will almost come to a stop time after time this happens I must of seen 100,000s of races started going dog racing in the early 60s so I know what I am looking at.

Lets ban all racing then as falls happen in any sport ive worked with greyhounds since i was 13 and can promise you nothing makes them happier then being abke to sprint their little hearts out they are not forced to do this many dont chase and are rehomed as pups 12/15 months old you cant make a dog chase just like you cant make them run

"loose greyhound" ??? Once again, it's the disgraceful conduct by GREYT EXPLOITATIONS - NOT Monroe dog track! trying to dupe the public with their stupid bs! There was no "loose greyhound"! WATCH THE VIDEO! Fabulous Expert was the dog in Trap One (!) and he simply ran the other way - so as the other dogs came round they had to stop the lure to avoid a collision because they couldn't catch Fabulous Expert. Even though they were almost at the finish line they still stopped the lure. Why is it that every time there's something beautiful in the world - like beautiful greyhounds racing, people always have to destroy it?

So if this is cruel to animals what about car racing.. aint that cruel on humans?
