After the popularity of the Choke video they wanted to make another video for Evolve but didn't have the money to do it. They did this video on the cheap with a bunch of iPhones and a drone. The video was directed by Rudy, their manager. Rudy has an entertainment production company, aside from managing The Warning, and he has experience working in movies. Famously to TWA, a young Rudy was involved in the movie, Titanic. This video was shot in parking garage of a luxury car dealer. There is a BTS video of making this video and you see a bunch of high end cars parked in adjacent sections of the garage.

You guys should contact Joel Roadie (youtube reactor). He is starting a reactor group (free to join) with a friend who knows record execs. The goal is to petition the record companies to NOT copyright reactors. Worth the effort in my opinion.

he absolutely loves The Warning.
The odd meter is 7/4 and Pau’s triplets in that section slay me every time. That riff/section is used three times in the song and I believe it’s Ale’s nod to Rush or Dream Theater. EVOLVE is usually their encore and it made me a fan, rabbit hole and all!

Guys, love your reactions and also I'm really impressed with your protocol for spreading the word to other channels. Very few reactors I have seen do anything like this and it is the kind of promotion that aspiring artists like the warning require. Kudos and keep up the good work!
After the Choke OMV was released, one fan was commenting about the fact there were no 'mics' or 'cables' in the video. That comment did not go unnoticed by Rudy. So when it came time for the Evolve video, which was next up, Rudy made sure to include mics, and he went just a little nuts with all the cables... So thank you to one TWA member, and to Rudy, he did a great job creating this video with no budget!!!

This was my first exposure to The Warning in December 2022. Blown away. It was like ... are they legit? I watched the Portsmouth, VA concert (then the Richmond, VA Canal Club concert) which answered that question. Then, I heard Revenant and I was sold.

Hey, I loved the bit about wrapping cables! I have a golden memory of a satellite teleconference in the early’90s. The tech chief gave us a strict crash course in wrapping the RENTED cables and I’ve been obsessed ever since 😆
Actually a complant from the Choke OMV was there weren't any cables seen. So for this video they added plenty of cables.

Pau came up with *Evolve* after watching a documentary about evolution and gene manipulation... this isn't the first time she has drawn inspiration from a TV show or movie, either... several other of their songs have been inspired by books, movies, and similar media...
this video was shot in a parking garage at a car lot... they used 16 iPhones and a drone... you can see cameras on the mic stands and two hung over Pau on her left and right... speaking of iPhones, their OMV for *S!ck* was all done with iPhones, too...
Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and the other in *Hunter* ...
Fun Fact: during soundchecks, she's been known to use a much less powerful "Waaaaaaaaaa!" instead of "The Scream"... gotta save that scream for use at the proper times, ya know? LOL

Of the new songs from their upcoming album, Keep Me Fed, "More" came out first. The music video is really creative, and the song is fun. Then "S!ck" came out, and that video is killer. I've seen both done live at numerous venues and live they're really good. This new album looks to be a monster.
I went to Flowers After Rainfall as she reacted to Automatic Sun. I'm already subscribed to her channel. She acknowledged you two calling her out.
I'm also subscribed to Aileen Senpai too, her latest reaction was to Queen at Live Aid.
The hung cables are probably an impromptu solution to something because this was a guerrilla style photoshoot where they only had 2-3 hours to setup, shoot and teardown

I've never seen another group make such an impact here on TH-cam. All of you Reaction Channels are blowing up your view counts covering this phenomenal Group. If The Warning were a publicly traded company on the NYSX I’d mortgage my house on them hitting it big.. Has there ever been another group breaking onto the scene than The Warning, with such an arsenal of great material to bring to the table? So Young, yet so experienced. Their 4th studio album is about to be released in June. Everything before it has been just great. 21st Century Blood was released in 2018 when they were just 18-16 and 13!! They just don't know how to make a average song, everything is just outstanding. I haven't felt this obsessed with a band since 1964!! Yeah I know, I'm old. 💕🎶💕🎶💕🎶
I've been trying to get Aileensenpai to check out The Warning for a long time now. I pop in her Twitch all the time and find ways to bring The Warning up in conversation. She knows who they are but isn't to familiar with them. Perfect choice for this.

Hey Guys! I started playing drums at 8 years old, with sheet music. So, I can tell you that the song was in 4/4 then it goes into 4 measures of 7/4. Basically, just adding 3 more beats per measure, or leaving out the last beat of 2 measures of 4/4, however you want to look at it. It's the same time signature of "Money" by Pink Floyd.

I was taught over under by an old telephone engineer to help keep oscope cables untangled. Had to chuckle over all the cables on the floor. Our safety guys would have been all over them as trip hazards 😀

Literal garage rock. If you look closely, you may notice the rat/mouse traps against the walls. Pau played until her hands bled, and vowed to never play with gloves on again. This song is usually their closer for concerts now days, with Pau giving everything she's got left in her scream. EPIC every time!

Their team has always been very creative doing "homemade" music videos when they don't have the budget for more elaborate productions. They did it here with a borrowed garage and borrowed iPhones, and then more recently with their S!CK music video, shot by their videographer on an iPhone, with their dad providing the motorcycle and mom planting her lipstick kiss on a pane of glass. 🙂 No doubt the mess of cables in this one was by design (perhaps to irritate you. 🙂). The end result is a very professional-looking video, and one that got them a lot of views.

Some 'fans' might not like S!CK (I personally think they are *****s, but that's IMHO) but guess WHAT?! It's now at #14 on the Billboard Main Rock Charts and climbing! It's their highest chart position EVER!

@@Double_J_48629 The trouble is that it doesn’t make sense when put in context with the 4/4 parts.
If the 4’s are being counted at a certain tempo, and then the 7’s are counted at the same tempo, then the 7’s must be in 7/4 otherwise the speed of the count would have doubled.
I hope that made sense - in text it can be tricky to explain it well.
Personally I like the VMA video more than the OMV.
So weird, I always think long time reactors have already seen all the OVMs. lol

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's all good!!!
So I've given The Warning's new music some listens and have formed an opinion. This new stuff is the result of contractual obligation - not always a bad thing. The girls who wrote QOTMS don't need writing help, but the label wanted them working with writers who produce "spins". The new album, from what I can tell isn't really rock, but instead something I would call "hard pop" - no to be confused with power pop, something I love. No one can deny that "More" or "Automatic Sun" are anything but pop songs about relationships(at least there's nothing about big booties). At least HYCAD alludes to the trials of touring, a topic most bands get to in their songs. Seems a far cry from the scathing critique of gen Z in "Kool-Aid Kids", or the terrifying aspect of AI for our future chronicled in "Error". Keep Me Fed promises to be a good album, but a watered down version of The Warning. Oh well, three more albums of pablum to get through before the warning can be the The Warning again.
