She’s exactly right: they were basically interviewing writers to see if there was a vibe and see if something could come from it
Don I would love to hear your thoughts on the new songs. Are you going to do any videos on them?
Well I for one hope this experiment is over and they go back to just the three of them writing songs.
@@steve318k you dont like the new songs?
@@DadQuixote7- none of the four songs (at least the official versions), Don't make my top 35 songs from The Warning.
@steve318k wow thats surprising. Can I ask why?
They didn't touch on it but they are very involved with their Patreon members. In fact they have a monthly facetime meeting with the higher tiers. So they do hear and know what their fans think!
It's quite expensive to be heard, that's for sure
Allison did an incredible job in making that 10 mins in the sisters were out of the interview and just chatting and having fun.
Those three young ladies are so endearing.
48:15 RE: Opening for Muse and finding out a week before.
Based on an interview with Rudu Joffroy (Manager) th-cam.com/video/bJkjaEkP-6A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2EBdLrYsP_NK8su4&t=2040 and Lalo (Live sound engineer) th-cam.com/video/P01V5RgxtSw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=m7Mfuy97zX2C1Ys9 audio is in Spanish, but the subtitles are good. The band that was scheduled to open for Muse in Mexico was a band that The Warning had previously toured. Rudy as a courtesy called their team and offered support if they needed anything, (tech, equipment, people) and found out from them that they were not going to do the shows. Rudy then went back to Muse management and informed THEM that they no longer had an opening act. Afterwards Rudy and his team worked their magic and got the opening slot for The Warning. That was the reason the inclusion of the warning was so last minute.
The Warning was not the first choice but was able to capitalize on the opportunity. Gotta admire their tenacity and dedication.
Yes, the band was The Pretty Reclets who wanted more money for the concerts in Mexico because they thought the band was at a very high level and they didn't agree with what they were going to pay them. Muse said no and they decided not to go at the last minute.
Thanks for sharing these Interviews. I have never seen them because I am not a Spanish speaker. Very cool and interesting interviews with both Rudy and Lalo. I have met both of them at shows and they both very cool and friendly guys!
Sounds like Rudy is a great manager.
You introduced me to The Warning - thank you! I could tell right away that they have a purpose. You find that in siblings. Even when they were young, they were so committed! I feel that they are wonderful musicians and deserve to be treated well. 10 years is nothing to spit at; they act like veterans in the music business. Maybe they could bump the sound guy out of his seat and do their own sound check! They could do a BTS and let you do the reaction!! This interview seems to be going well. I love seeing your commitment to getting their name out there. (Rant over) 🎶 Cyd
Their sound guy is their father and he is a sound engineer - doing a great job for them.
Thanks, I forgot about that 😮
@@edwardmyers9773 Their sound guy is Lalo Plaza 1:17:20
Thank you for this comment, Cyd!!! This makes our hearts sing knowing we can help spread the word about The Warning in our own, little way!! Hugs!
Sometimes forget that English is their second language. They are so great
These ladies are so real so goofy and so fun!!!!
i love watching their interviews thats how most of us if not all of us in TWA learned about these amazing young women
If you enjoyed this, check out the interview that Allison recently posted with Lzzy Hale. One of the topics is Lzzy gifting the Explorer to Dany.
That one brought happy tears to my eyeballs
This is my favorite long interview by The Warning, you can learn so much about them, Allison did a masterful job! The band Dany refers to is Maneskin, an Italian rock band that is pretty famous & has played the live MTV award shows a few times.
A really well conducted interview, you really get to see the girls personalities and just how humble and grounded they are!
There's a fantastic segment with Ale in the Tidal Rising doc, where she tells about how before they would play, and they'd get treated like a joke, and how that would invert after the performance: "And then we play, and it's like...yeah."
So cool that you decided to watch this. I think this interview is one of the best "get to know you" pieces I have seen on The Warning. There is a lot in information in here. But for me (as another one of the supportive and protective uncles in TWA), just seeing how well grounded, thoughtful, intelligent, dedicated they are to their craft, to each other, to their fans, to the other bands is really impressive. Yes, wise beyond their years for sure. I have met them a number of times, and I can tell you that they are this way when you meet them as well.
Would it surprise me that some time down the road that
- Dany is operating and teaching at some music academy
- Pau is running some portion of the music or business world
- Ale is the next Carol Kaye
Absolutely not.
Great comment, @oldmanyeni1663!!! We always love seeing you here, and absolutely got a kick out of the professions. ;-)
Check out Mayday in the Making.
They talk about festivals early on the attitude they got was what are these little girls gonna do.
They made believers out of crews, crowds, and bands.
So being women played into it some I myself would guess it had as much to do with the fact that they were quite young.
The Warning were playing festivals at 11, 14, and 16 years old.
Ya know, the more of these kinds of interviews I see, the more I learn to love these 3 extraordinary sisters! TWA for life!
Watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Pau loves punk actually
I watched this the other day. Outstanding interview and these young ladies are awesome, and a lot of fun. My favorite part was near the end where Allison asked them questions, the one about their favorite song or artist. When she got to Dany, without missing a beat she says "Comfortably Numb" from the Pulse concert. 😁
I've seen this engrossing interview at least two dozen times, and it's fascinating. Jeremy, as the "driver" of your videos I noticed a couple of instances where I thought you might have better control by using keyboard shortcuts, which I am still learning myself. For example, the left arrow rewinds the playback five seconds, and the letter "j" rewinds ten seconds, which is very convenient for backing up after a pause for your commentary. I would think most reactors would find that suggestion very useful. The available shortcuts can be found in your account menu. Happy reacting! 👍
Thanks so much, Charlie!! We always appreciate helpful feedback and tips. Appreciate the assist!
The part of the interview were they go into the topic about the prejudice The Warning receives, well there is a certain group of people out there who don't take this girls seriously and that is just sad like you said. They have been dealing with that since the beginning.
I terms of the social media, they do have their own personal accounts, and patreon that they do interact with. But the other sites they stay away from. They also each have a day a week they do personal interactions with fans. Friday is Dany day, Saturday is Pau day and Sunday is Ale day.
Also, it doesn't matter how supportive the community is, it can be horrible at times. Have you seen the venom from fans over the new sound they have on the studio releases lately? Fans can be more brutal than haters sometimes.
And as empathetic as the ladies are, I think they would take a lot of that personally if they read it. So yeah, only interact on their own terms and stay away from the comments section.
Forget the comments. The Warning are 100% interactive with their fans.
I don't understand.
That's all that matters, that they have a method to have the interaction!
Fun fact: They actually raffled off their first Rock Band game with the instruments, console, etc., in one of their early fundraising campaign's (I think to fund their European Tour before Covid hit, and it got cut short), so some lucky person out there has the true beginnings of The Warning Band!😉😍
When it comes to how women are treated, you have to remember that they came up in the Mexican music industry. I am not accusing Mexico of anything, but I bring it up to say their experience is in a different context.
@@g.garcia7151 I agree
En México la música es complicada para todos, hombres y mujeres. Hay decenas de bandas de hombres que nunca salieron de circuitos de bares y lugares pequeños y desaparecieron.
No por ser hombre tienes el éxito asegurado.
This is by far the best reaction I’ve seen to this interview. The key difference is that I walked away from it knowing more about you as people. This felt like a shared experience.
Wow, thank you for this @ryankieth1675...comments like this really do make our day. It's important we add value, and this comment made us feel like we did a good job. So thanks again, we appreciate you!
It's funny that the first time that I saw The Warning live was at The Sound of Music Festival in Burlington Ontario. There weren't any hills, unless you count the Niagara escarpment, and no sign of Julie Andrews, but the show was great, if too short.
Loved the opening! 😂
YES!!! Thank you very much!!!
This is an awesome interview Allison is so good love how she makes them comfortable and lets them have fun and be themselves which is awesome. My favorite part of many Ale says " I'm not good with maps they're just really bad with them "
lmao so good thanks this was great appreciate you taking the time to do this one. 🔥⚡
Getting to know more about these incredibly talented yet humble and gracious young women adds to the appreciation of their art. One on my favorite pieces of media that shines a light on the dynamics between the three of them is their multi-part vlog on their first tour of Argentina. The videos are basically Dany trying to keep Pau and Ale on task as they are just being silly behind her. Those are incredibly funny, wonderful windows into their personalities. The third part remains a Patreon exclusive, but the first two are hilarious.
Paulina is the leader of this band. Maybe not the lead singer, debatable, but the heart and soul of them. The energy she emits is so infectious. 🎶💕
TW have probably talked to thousands upon thousands of their fans through their M&G’s before basically every headlining show.
Their M&G’s are fairly cheap, around $100 including the ticket for the show. They treat everyone like family.
They are by no means isolated from their fans and choose not to enable the haters.
They talked several times about being grounded. I think that they do an excellent job because their fanbase overloads them with adulation and it seems it would be incredibly easy for them to believe their own hype and it doesn’t seem that is affecting them at this time.
After the European tour with Muse, Matt Bellamy gifted Dany a custom Manson guitar.
This is an awesome interview!
Besides being rock stars these sisters are smart, humble, funny and the nicest people on earth!!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
David Gilmour…. Check out the track Show Me The Light. Dany channels her inner Gilmour during the solo.
Ann Wilson from Heart has said that it's gotten better but it still needs more for women in Rock. She said it on The Kelly Clarkson show.
Well done.
Thank you, Ron!! We agree, these gals are SOOO good!!
...thank U 4 reacting...I can't get enuff of their interviews n Vlogs...so animated n funny n genuine...
awesome ,, great long form.. as many times as i've seen their interview i still get joy in watching.
So guys thank you for taking the time to do this, TWA appreciates you for that. There are a lot of video content that TW provides for it's fans. Especially entertaining are their official after movies of life on the road. Touring here in the states as well as in Europe and South America and of course Mexico. There is also an interview that their sound guy Lalo, who Pau mentioned here, who gives all the background on what happened and how TW magically wound up with the Muse offer. The band that was supposed to open for Muse cancelled last minute and the rest is history but the real story involves how TW and their crew make friends everywhere they go. With other bands as well as their stage crew making friends with other bands stage crews and how those relationships go a long way in opening doors. It's in Spanish with English subtitles. Looking forward to your reactions the newest TW releases from last Friday!💖✨🔥⚡🚀🤘🏽
hello lovely couple, it was really good👍😍
Thanks for appreciating them even more
So much love and support✌🤘🔥💥
Our pleasure! Always wonderful to see you, @eveline5858!!! ❤️🥷🏻
Sadly young women who are gifted and talented often become targets on social media. If it was just about the music I don't think it would be a problem, but some comments are way out of bounds
Completely understand and agree.
Very cool 😎 thanks for sharing that.!
Thanks for watching!
Aloha J&J, just subbed! I have really enjoyed your reactions to The Warning, and the Hagendorf interview is no exception. I just looked at your The Warning catalog, and I see you have not YET watched The Warning's 2 documentaries: TIDAL Rising - The Warning, and May Day in the Making parts 1-6. Enjoy! Salud! #APDVillaReality
Awesome! Thank you and WELCOME, @genboyer !!! Love having you here. Appreciate the suggestions, we DEFINITELY have a lot to catch up on. So happy!! ;-)
That thing Pau did with her fingers is a Mexican way of saying YES when you physically cannot speak. Dont ask me how that came avout or why but it is a real thing.
Ah ok, thank you!! So good to know!
Yes, they read comments. They lurk in their Patreon & discord (& laugh at our crazy theories) now & then and of course their instagram posts. But the comments they’re talking about are like random Reddit or Facebook groups. Those places can be toxic waste dumps.
I’ve only personally seen Dany in Discord.
As I understand it, during the pandemic they were much more active on socials.
I didn’t find TW until towards the end of the pandemic so I never got to interact with her on Discord cause she seems to hit and run on the server and get everyone exited and probably sits back and laughs at the craziness.
So Pau listens to Badflower!? Not surprising, they are good when it comes to like singing harmonies, I like them. They played on Welcome to Rockville Daytona 2021, at the same time The Warning where there. Seeing DPA together just talking about their passion is great. When Pau speaks I still here that little girl who spoke about their passion at the Ted X in 2017, she hasn´t changed at all when it comes to her passion. Dany though, she is much more forward and more goofy than she was then. They are so nice, a fresh air in the rock scene. Thank you for reacting to this.
Love it
Let’s get Jeremy and Jillian to 25K!!!
Social media does suck!
Excellent my friends!
They were in a live interview on Twitch a few days ago and Dany and Pau were even in the chat posting comments. They could've just done the interview and said thanks but they went to the effort to find their old logins and chat directly. So its not far off to think they read some comments.
That's so good to hear...thanks for sharing!!
❤❤❤❤
Best Warning interview. Allison did a Great job.
Liked hearing your comments and your experiences. And I really liked that you reacted to this. I know of only one other reactor who has. ETA: Dany and Allison talked about the wonder of listening to a whole album. Is that no longer a thing? In my day I bought a physical album and I listened to it start to finish. Over and over.
Thank you very much! Same here on the full album listen. Sadly, today I think many just grab the song they want versus listening to the whole journey. We've been guilty of this on occasion, depending on the artist.
Rudy's been their manager since they were 9, 12 and 14.
Thanks!
Wow, Patrick!!! Thank you very much for the Super Thanks. We appreciate you!!
@@musikbyjh hi, I was trying to send a link(?) you should check out “The Warning - Quarantine Official Show”
It was a live stream from their “cave” on March 20, 2024, the date they were supposed to start their North American tour but the world was closed due to COVID
This was before Ale’s new Specter and before Dany was matched with PRS.
You mentioned about the nonverbal communication between them and this shows that. You will love how they can be silly and giggling one moment and then drop into a killer song like Dull Knives or QOTMS with a vengeance.
Their personalities and interactions really stand out.
This is one of my favorites and I hope that you enjoy it as well
Thanks so much, we'll add to our list!
On Sunday there will be a free of charge livestream.
The Warning plays at the vive latino Festval.
i cannot mention details as the spammonster is right behind me.
Don't let that Spam monster get you!!! Thanks for the heads up!
Older folks not knowing Gen Z's music is a good thing. Young people should have bands that are their own. My parents didn't know who Van Halen and The Police were.
When the drummer watches the bassist.
As I heard it, it was The Pretty Reckless that was going to open for Muse but they had to cancel on short notice & because of their tour with The Warning (and because Rudy had offered their roadies to help pretty reckless in Mexico) that Taylor recommended The Warning to take their spot. But that’s just how The Warning rolls. The Sandman cover, that was a 1 week deadline as well.
There's a subtitled half hour interview with Ale.
I just watched this 2 days ago 🤘
Nice!!! Thanks for giving our version a shot, we appreciate you!
1:06:15 now you understand why she plays guitar solos the way she does.
Also remember the first impressions were of 3 little girls showing up to attempt to play rock.
To see The Warning learning they would tour with Muse th-cam.com/video/Xk7zd93qIWc/w-d-xo.html
My first .........
Rock Album: Jesus Christ Superstar (Rock Opera)
Concert: Neil Diamond (Beautiful Noise Tour) - I WANTED TO SEE NEIL DIAMOND.
My first concert could of been ZZ Top (Tush just came out). Had free tickets by I past - Darn it.
Favorite Movie: Monty Python & the Holy Grail
*About Boston:* More Than a Feeling was on their debut album called *Boston.* Amanda (great song) was on their third album *Third Stage.* All of Boston's official albums (8 in total) has the guitar spaceship on the cover.
Great comment, thank you Kevin. Love your answers!!!
The only thing better than Warning Wednesday is Dany Day, Pau Day and Ale Day!
...Boston...Don't Look Back...the spaceship........is a guitar.
They have a monthly chat with their higher tier Patreon fans
Btw they did read comments for awhile and even popped in live streams reactors were doing. Then the massive amount just reduced to mostly patreon , they don’t shy from criticism it’s just they’ve seen it all after all the years I think.
They do/did get snubbed at gigs, occasionally - I'm not sure that it's because they're a female group or if it's because they're young "upstarts", so to say. They've commented on several occasions about not being able to get time to do proper soundchecks, like being told there won't be a soundcheck, then maybe being given a few minutes to squeeze one in. I seem to recall Guns 'N Roses snubbing them, in Mexico. Dany, Pau and Ale didn't make an issue of it and talk about it, but it's visible in their social media feed. I can see how perspective might play into things, if other bands at festivals are treated one way and their band is treated somewhat differently. I would say that it is a rare occurence, but it has happened. Also, take into account that at least half of their shows are in other countries, which may have different social norms. (I'm not there, I don't know, but from travels, years ago, I know that things are different in different parts of the world.)
I liked the discussion about opening acts and how they're sometimes treated. The sexism thing comes in when you already have people wanting to be dismissive and then they justify their stupidity by saying "Well they're women, so we can do less" or whatever.
Now go back and listen to their first english interview in 2015. Just search first English interview
1:15:44 I tried to find I video/short I saw of The Warning being interviewed at the VMA's where Pau gets flustered when she realizes Shakira was behind them getting interviewed/stopped for pictures. Maybe someone else can find it and share the link.
We'd LOVE to see that!!!
I wonder if the headlining act tells the sound engineers to make the opening acts sound not as good so they don’t show them up.
That would be some bullshit if so.
🍿🍿🤘🏻⚡️❤️ TWA
Regarding the bias they are talking about; you see it all the time in comments. Alejandra in particular gets a lot of “she’s only where she is because of her looks” type comments.
They are corky and fun and charming ..then onstage they are animals ..🤘
Fantastic performers. They are the girls next door but when they step on stage they turn into full on rock stars.
um wow, didn't know they were Maneskin fans. FYI Maneskin were runner ups in XFactor Italy, they broke out with a Frankie Valli cover "beggin", by the time they came in second place on the voice, they were a worldwide sensation, I can't get my local rock station to play the warning, but every maneskin song that comes out they,re all over it
errr, xfactor, so many singing shows it gets confusing, lol
Marina and the Diamonds, Pre Madonna Girl
I thought this was the recent one.
There is no way they could read and look at all their social media. Most content providers have many accounts, so they have people for that and do the management of those accounts. I remember Elisabeth (Charismatic Voice) talking about it once, a number of years back and she was saying she had a team of three that managed her social media, releasing the videos reviewing the comments. She said they passed on the more interesting comments and overviews. They also look at the site trends and where else you are mentioned and in what context. Once you are big it does become over whelming. In the early days DPA also had their dad review and censer all the comments, as some were not really appropriate and not just in that way. A lot of their subjects in their songs were of a mature subject so some of the discussions could be a little more adult.
This was really helpful, @Zealdave2223. Thank you very much!!! We can completely relate already with a smaller channel - it's a LOT to manage, and knowing how others manage their community engagement is really interesting. Appreciate you watching and taking the time!!
I’m not a fan of maneskin personally but i do respect their drive and ability and “love life exactly how we want to” mentality that extends to their performances. I find them slightly annoying lol, but i do respect them. Italian hard alternative rock band i guess, somewhat like thrash and trash and funk and rock all mixed up
Måneskin have some great songs, some great covers, etc., Their name Måneskin (danish) translate to MoonLight. As @don-music mention, they are italian. I recently saw a reaction from a bass teacher comparing Ale with Victoria (la Victoria nationale for italians) she's the bass player of Måneskin - it sounded to me like Ale out on top ;o)
@musikbyjh maybe you should check them out - you could start with their hit called "Beggin¨"
Thank you both!! We feel pretty clueless when they mentioned Måneskin and appreciate you sharing some background. Super helpful!
When you two said the opening act isn't suppose to sound better than the headlining band? BUT that's how you get to be the "head liner" talent is greater than the time put in! Just my opinion.
I (Jillian) disagree with that, but hey, what do I know. Respect your opinion either way. Thanks for being here, David!!
A man i´ll never be ( Boston )
Ahhhh, SUCH a good one. So many good Boston songs I couldn't think of "on the fly'. LOVE Boston so much, thanks for the reminder on this gem. ;-)
Great album boston it didn't have a name that was the name boston....
Ah, THANK YOU! A classic, truly.
love the commentary! I did catch something watching your reaction... Did they really open up for Sammy Hagar? I don't think I have seen any videos of that if it is true.
Thank you, Carlos...and SAME...we haven't seen or heard of the Sammy Hagar collab?!?
Well yes, they have that telepathy of sisters, but here 15:03, Paulina wasn't aiming, she was "nodding" with her hands, Mexicans use many hand gestures, similar to the Italians but in their own way, so moving the index finger from bottom to top is an affirmative gesture, she was just saying: "I'm agree"
Thank you, @Guwig!! Someone else here mentioned this, and it's really helpful learning for us. We appreciate the knowledge, thanks again!
Hi
Hi @bobnot.!!
Things have gotten better but would be naive to say it does not happen today with how women bands are treated just based on one's exp. The 'Mansplaining' is alive and well today even though a lot of times its not intentional but still have the negative effect on women.
Amanda is not on that album
Whoopsie! 🙄
Right from the start of this interview. From this fan the writing sessions experiments did not go well.
The only thing that really annoys me about this interview is the eternal women's issue. I mean that being a woman is constantly made an issue by this moderator. She wants to turn this into a problem and thus increase women's performance even higher. So not that the women are where they are because of their hard work , but because they have supposedly managed to do so in her opinion, despite the fact that they are women. Which is not an issue in the rock metal industry in the absolute majority. I hate it when people twist realities in order to put other people higher, by belittling or badmouthing others. Especially noticeable because these 3 girls absolutely don't need that, because they are loved and also by men and not because they are women but because they make good music, rock and are super likeable.
We completely understand where you are coming from...and appreciate your candor. Thank you for being here!!
3:40 "that doesn't even sound fun".. well I sure hope they don't try it again. Just stick to writing their own music.
Thumbs down. Who are you to say how they should or should not interact with their fans? There are more ways than just social media to do that. If I were in their position I wouldn't read comments either. It's too easy to get sucked into that nonsense when the best way to show their fans they appreciate them is to continue to write great music. Terrible take.
Thanks for the comment. You must be new here. Welcome!! We absolutely don't judge however they manage their audience engagement, simply hope they stay connected somehow. If you choose to watch any of our 20+ other The Warning videos, you'll quickly learn we are massive fans. Cheers.
I hear some male bias in your comments, think about it!!
Male bias? Lol. You’re entitled to your opinion, but you really don’t know much about me to say such a thing. I was pretty much raised by females, my mom…5 sisters….no brothers…I mean, I have the utmost respect for women and always treat them with such respect. My “bias” comes from having 15 years experience in the music industry…from performing with female acts, bands with female members, or engineering solo female artists and female bands. So, my words and opinions are based solely on the many, many first hand experiences I’ve had and seen. I think that gives me a pretty good reason to have the opinions I do. I never said others’ experiences aren’t theirs…I was just surprised sometimes because I see contrary things sometimes. That’s also valid, right?
