The band did recently celbrate their 10 year anniversary as a band. Next month, the ladies will be 24 (Dani), 22 (Pau) and 19 (Ale) years of age. I first saw their Enter Sandman video 7 years ago and this 61 year old has been a fan ever since. Welcome to The Warning journey and enjoy the ride.
I saw it 9 years ago, been following them ever since, thought not as closely as I would have liked. Blown away at how much they have grown since then. Very inspiring. Learned to play “money” over the weekend on guitar, so much fun.

Welcome to The Warning! These sisters are fantastic. Live is their special place. They really come through on stage. You can pick anything from the Teatro Metropolitan concert, August 2022, in Mexico City (aka CDMX) and be happy with that. Disciple. Animosity. Dust to Dust. Choke.
The answer to your question is, of course, Enter Sandman. I would suggest a three video series so you can see how far they have come. The Warning have a wonderful relationship with Metallica’s classic.
1) They did a video cover in their basement when they were 14, 12, and 9 that their father uploaded to TH-cam for the grandparents to see. Start here.
2) Metallica invited Alessia Cara to participate in the Blacklist 30th Anniversary album. Alessia’a team contacted The Warning and the two groups wrote, recorded, and produced an entirely new version of Sandman in only ten days that ended up being the lead track on Metallica’s anniversary album. The official music video for that is a great second video.
3) The Warning then did their Sandman version live at the Teatro Metropolitan I mentioned above. This live performance is epic.

Their dad was in the habit of uploading their videos for family and friends to see long before their Enter Sandman. If not I wouldn't have started following them 18 months before their first Enter Sandman. 😉

Due to the first cover of Enter Sandman, which currently has 25 million views, the members of Metallica were invited to The Warning.
And the idea of adding the Canadian Cara, came from the producers of the album... but the original invitation was for the Villareal sisters, due to their 2012 version, with the condition made by the Metallica musicians themselves, that they present a different version...
And so they did... and they were so happy that that's why it's the first track that opens the album.
In addition, all production, arrangements and recording were carried out by The Warning team. Cara only sent the track on her part, and a video, which was later used for the song's video clip.

As many will probably tell you in the comments, this band excels live.
Three classically trained sisters, playing piano at 6(?) years old. Covered Enter Sandman in 2014 when the youngest was 9 years old. They are young, but are seasoned veterans on stage. They have performed in the US, Canada, Germany, Argentina, the UK. Having opened for Muse, Def Lepard, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, The Foo Fighters and Guns and Roses. Earning the admiration and respects of veteran rockers. Lead singer Daniela had specially made guitars given to her as gifts from Matt Bellamy of Muse and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. Daniela invited by Three Days Grace to sing with the band with their hit song Painkiller. Invited by Metallica to rework Enter Sandman, to be included in Metallica’s Black List album. Performed live at the MTV MVA 2023 where they nailed their performance in one take, the only one to do so! They sing in English and Spanish, with a touch of French and a smidgen of Japanese. They have rearranged a version of Enter Sandman where they are accompanied by the string section of an orchestra!
Pau said she started playing piano at 4 yrs old.
They’ve been together since they were babies, being sisters. They started playing piano about age three. Their perfect sound comes from dad Luis, a sound engineer by trade. Their perfect smiles are credited to mom Oniocam a dentist. They began performing live in 2014, at concerts around the their bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Nueva Leon, Mexico. On of their early TH-cam performances in their living room, got 25 million views. That led to a spot on the Ellen Show, which in turn led to scholarships to the Berlee School in Music in Boston. They wrote all but two of their own songs in English. (Narcisidta and Martirio are their only Spanish language compositions.). They have managed to avoid scandals despite their decade in the spotlight.)

A once in a generation phenomenon. My daughter and I flew from Portland Oregon to see them live 2 months ago in Tijuana where they started with Disciple. Ale's bass kicked me in the chest and knocked me over, then Pau beat me over the head with her drums and then Dany finished me off by slaying me with her guitar and vocals. Once you go down The Warning rabbit hole there's no way out, like Black Holes (which is one of my favorite songs of theirs). Check out the full live concert from 2022 at the CDMX Teatro Metropolitan.

Theyve just celebrated 10 years as a band . . Which is longer than the Beatles . . .
They are the Villarreal Velez sisters. Daniela(Dany) on guitar and most lead vocals. Paulina(Pau) on drums and some lead vocals. Alejandra (Ale) on bass and backing vocals.(Will sing lead if needed, but no designated songs). Today Ale is 19, Dany will be 24 next week, Pau will be 22 the following week. They have been playing together over 10 years, 3 full album with a 4th on the way, and several EP's. All took piano at a young age. They got interested in playing real instruments after playing the rock band video game. They are awesome live.
Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) was so impressed that she insisted on taking them on tour, which happened summer of'22. During that tour, Lzzy gifted a custom Gibson Explorer guitar to Dany, on stage in the middle of The Warning's set. In addition to Halestorm, TW have also opened for Foo Fighters, Guns'N'Roses, Muse, 3 Days Grace. Matt from Muse recently gifted Dany a custom mustard yellow Manson guitar.
Yes, please do all 3 versions of Enter Sandman, the straight cover at ages 14,12, and 9 that went viral. The reimagined music video with Alessia Cara, and the reimagined live version from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022. Anything from that concert is awesome.

It was June 2015 when I first discovered The Warning by way of their “Enter Sandman” cover, the one you alluded to in your question early on in this video. (You really should check it out) I knew right from the start that these young ladies were something very special and I started to binge watch literally everything I could find from them, which was very little back then. I can honestly say I have not missed a single day since then in which I have watched or listened to something of their journey.
In my 64 plus years of life I have never been so into a band. I joined their Patreon page within the first hour of its creation and have been saying for many years now, that they would one day be recognized world wide. I fully expect them to eventually gain the status of the greatest power trio of all time, selling out the biggest venues, arenas and stadiums. They will, without doubt, end up being invited to headline the most prestigious music festivals in the world.
To date I have had the great honor of meeting them via meet and greets twice, as well as enjoying their performances live. Even this “early” in their careers they are by far the best live band I have ever seen, and believe me, I have seen many of the greats in my time. It is an experience I suggest all who love music of any form to do if at all possible.
I personally believe they will single-handedly bring rock music back to main stream status. I say this because I know of several people who have never liked rock music, or even considered listening to it, end up liking and following The Warning. They truly are as special as I originally thought 8 plus years ago when I was first introduced to them via their fathers TH-cam videos.
If you continue down this rabbit hole I guarantee you will not be disappointed as they have nearly 50 original songs in their collection, being found in 3 full albums, 1 EP and two stand alone singles plus a reimagined rendition of Metallicas Enter Sandman, created as a collaboration with Canadian pop star Alessia Cara exclusively for Metallicas BlackList album. Aside from all this they have two unofficially released songs they introduced recently in concert which will be found on their album to be released in 2024. Choose any one of their songs and you will quickly discover they seem incapable of putting out a bad song.

You're about to find out about The Warning Army. We're possibly one of the largest, most loyal and most vocal fan bases around these days. I was 14 in 1964 when The Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show and this is the first time since then that I've been this excited about a band. One thing you'll get lots of comments about is just how much better these girls are live. Their OMV's are great, but live - they're next level. Anything from their 2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan in CDMX (aka Mexico City) is quite simply great.

They are sisters, they were all musical prodigies, practically they jumped from the crib to the piano and never stopped learning since🤣. They are now full blown rock stars.

Thanks you guys. Great reaction. Since The Warning has been a band for 10 years (they had their 10 year anniversary last Fall) they have a long catalogue of nearly 50 songs. Knowing that they are still relatively young - teen and early 20s you can imagine how impressive their earliest work is doing covers when they were just children and then not long after while still kids, writing their own original material. They are a legitimate musical phenomenon. Rock isn't dead.
There won’t be much trivia you can get past long time listeners of the Warning. The band is unique in that they have essentially grown up on the internet.
In addition to videos of them practicing and starting out as children there has to be hundreds of hours of vlogs, behind the scenes, live streams of them talking with fans while they cook or play video games and after tour movies.
Most of the Warning Army can identify when something happened in their career by checking how big Ale is. She has gone from the smallest to the tallest and has changed the most.
The fan base is uniquely loyal because they aren’t just a band, they are someone we have watched growing up getting better and better and evolving into a super talented band.

Really glad you are reacting to these three sisters. Their music blends traditional genres - like classic rock, hard rock, pop and grunge - and turns it into something familiar yet unique. Any of their live performances are amazing (they recently played two songs for the MTV VMAs for instance, including Evolve and a funky rocker called "More"). Their on-stage charisma, passion and talent is off the charts. For a special treat, I recommend watching "Disciple" live from the Teatro Metropolitan (available on their TH-cam channel) with shared lead vocals between the lead guitarist (Dany) and the drummer (Pau).
I highly recommend watching their performance at the MTV Video awards last year. They've been around about 10 years now. Their version of "Enter Sandman" from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, in fact any song from that show is great, Another amazing song is XXI Centrury Blood from about 8 years ago.

Just celebrated their 10 year as a band, got the first utube success in 2014 when Ale, the bassist, was 9 years old and they put a Mettallica cover of Enter Sandman out. It is hard to overstate this band as poeple, ;musicians, performers or composers. I hope you watxh more of them, they have about 50 original songs out and I like all of them. It has been a lot of fun watching them grow, they started out great and just kept getting better.

Great reaction, these sisters (the youngest just turned 19) have just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, believe it or not! They have 1 EP and 3 LPs of original material and the 4th album is scheduled for 2024. They are great live, you can check back to back the Enter Sandman cover they did a few years back and the "reinvention" they were invited to do on Metallica's blacklist album and see how they have progressed. They also published on TH-cam a full concert from 2022 (live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, in their home country), as a full concert and also song by song as separate videos. You can check songs from this concert like Survive, Queen of the Murder Scene and Disciple, each one from a different album.

Thanks for your first reaction to my favorite band. The Warning are 3 sisters who write meaningful lyrics and deliver them with their unique style of rock. Many of The Warning Army that have been following them since they were very young, and even some like myself at 64 years old and only following since last year consider them as family ... nieces if you will ... Because that's how they make you feel ❤. After you get a few songs under your belts, take some time to watch some of their vlogs and documentaries that are posted on their channel. Along with the TEDx from 2016 and 2017 (my favorite) - Make sure to watch them in their entirety including the commentary sections between songs. I think the iPhones belonged to friends and family and were used to film the video during lockdown. Pau's "scream of destruction" (in my opinion) is the best part of the song, their sass and technical skills made me a fan a couple of years ago. They are finally getting the recognition they deserve.
I always giggle hysterically at Pau making "crazy faces" during the final fills in this vid. It's very nearly the _last hurrah_ to her earlier "Animal style" playing before consciously reigning it in a little bit as she's gotten older.

Deep rabbit hole with this band. They just hit their 10th anniversary, so they are young but seasoned. Yes, please do the Metallica cover of Enter Sandman when they were only 14 (Dany), 12 (Pau) and 9 (Ale) years old at the time. All three of them are sisters. Daniella (Dany) on guitar, Alejandra (Ale) on Bass and Paulina (Pau, Pronounced like POW) on drums. For their latest, I would recommend any song from the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City. The whole concert is on YT and is professionally shot with audio and camera. One of the best concerts on YT imo. I would recommend from this concert the songs Z, Disciple, Survive and 23 to see Pau play drums and sing lead at the same time.

Greetings from Denmark - TW are new to you, but they have had their 10y anniversary this year. Enter Sandman, cool, do not cheat yourself for all 3 versions: the 1 that went viral (Dany 14, Pau 12 and Ale 9) then the "re-invention" official misic video feat. Alissa Cara and finally the live performance @Teatro Metropolitan CDMX. All 3 superb in their own right!
There is actually now 5 notable versions of ES in The Warning universe.
The first is the viral cover from The Warning Cave in 2014.
The 2nd is the OMV from the Blacklist album version in 2021.
The 3rd is a performance from the Troubadour in LA featuring Alessia Cara onstage for the only time singing live with TW in 2022.
The 4th is a live performance during the professionally shot and recorded concert at the Teatro Metropolitan show in Mexico City later in 2022.
The 5th and most recent version is from their sold out show at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City in late 2023.
This is notable because the band was accompanied by a 10 piece string ensemble onstage.
There is only fan cam versions available as of right now but it is expected that a professionally produced version will be released sometime in 2024.
So, pick your poison. You can’t really go wrong.
Loved 1,2, & 4... 3 was OK, and I did not care for 5 at all. Just my opinion.
For the 5th one check out the version compiled on the channel alita from multiple fan cams. Excellent video editing resulting in really good sound and clear images.

The cover song they posted on yt that went viral is "Enter Sandman" from 2014. At the time their ages were: Daniela 14, guitar; Paulina 12, drums; and Alejandra 9, bass. This video has 25+M views. FYI: they had only been playing together for about 2 years at this time, and Alejandra had only been playing bass about 2 years.

Wow - you guys have no idea what a gold mine you've just hit with these phenomenally talented sisters and also sweet and humble as can be. You will see this same energy and passion in literally every performance they do! Watching their live performances are even better than their recordings which are incredible in their own right. You should react to their first performance of "Enter Sandman" that went viral when they were really young in 2014 and then compare it to their current version they made with Alessia Cara and a live performance. Magnificent!

Instantly bought all their albums on iTunes and now they're my favorite band. They are young still, but that Metallica cover was 10 years ago, so they're not a new band. Once Ellen DeGeneres heard about them and had them on her show, they decided then and there that this was what they were going to do for the rest of their lives. It wouldn't be a bad choice to watch that video that launched them - guaranteed you'll find them adorable, and great.

They've been around 10 years now - they started really young! They do a re-imagined version of Enter Sandman that appears as the 1st track on Metallica's 'Black List Album' a tribute to 30 years since the release of the 'Black' album. The Warning are actually 3 sisters, all classically trained pianists, with Danny (guitar) & Alejandra (Bass) also playing Sax, as well as their regular instruments. Pau (pronounced POW!) the drummer writes a lot of the lyrics and also the music along with her sisters although she writes on piano.
In the last 18 months or so they have toured south & north America including Canada, and Europe ... headlining as well as opening for Muse, Guns n Roses, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, The pretty Wreckless & Foo Fighters to name a few. They have released 3 albums the first two self funded, and the last one (Error) with their new label Lava Records with whom they have a 5 album deal, their next album is due for release shortly (2024).
Currently, their ages are Danny (guitar) 24, Pau (drums), 22, and Ale (bass) 19. Enjoy the ride!

It was Enter Sandman in 2014 when they were 14, 12, and 9.If you do that, i would suggest you do a 3 for 1. They did a completely new arrangement with Alessia Cara for the Blacklist album, which was put out by Metallica to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Black album. There is an OMV with Alessia Cara (2021) which is very good, and there is also a great live performance to watch from their show at the Teatro Metropolitan in 2022. Their performance in 2022, without Alessia Cara, is edgier and more "rock", so it still feels like a third version if you watch all three. The Warning Army (TWA) will flock to your channel for that triple header and for anything that you do with The Warning.

As you've heard by now, they have 3 full albums of material already to choose from, with a fourth album due this year - lots of content! As well, you will have heard that they are excellent live, so good choices are the Teatro Metropolitan performances from 2022 and the more recent MTV VMAs performances of this song (Evolve) and More. This band has no weak link, they are masters of their instruments and they are phenomenal songwriters - they have no bad, or even mediocre songs in their entire discography. Despite being so young, they are veterans, having logged 10 years together as a band and completing their first world tour last year. They will soon be touring again this year. Pau came up with *Evolve* after watching a documentary about evolution and gene manipulation... this isn't the first time she has drawn inspiration from a TV show or movie, either... several other of their songs have been inspired by books, movies, and similar media...
Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and the other in *Hunter* ...
Fun Fact: during soundchecks, she's been known to use a much less powerful "Waaaaaaaaaa!" instead of "The Scream"... gotta save that scream for use at the proper times, ya know? 😹

That "soundcheck waaah" kind of makes me laugh, too... it sounds like she's being sarcastic, and maybe sort of is, but then the whole point of sound checks is to verify mic levels and settings at *any* performance level, so it works for that purpose. Plus as you note, no sense in blowing your vocal cords out before the show...

Yes watch their original cover of Enter Sandman when they're 14,12 and 9. But then you have to watch their remake which is not a straight cover. They made the video with Alyssa Cara as a feature singer. It's great but I prefer their live version with just The Warning. The Warning is all over this 62 year old man's workout playlist!
The answer is as I speak, Enter Sandman. although their personal remake from nearly two years is my favorite flavor of that song, which was approximately 10 hrs. after their first video when they were kids. Warning. The Warning Army is about to take over your channel. In a good way 😌.

Great track to start with The Warning but as many from TWA is going to tell you, they really shine live and there are not better examples than the full Metropolitan concert and Alita's multicam videos from their X anniversary tour. Last but not least, don't forget to check their bio documentaries as they are not only incredible talented musicians but awesome people as well.

They play modern hard rock with elements of grunge, punk, classic rock, alternative rock… Evolve is their best shredder! Saw them in London/UK last year, and compared to Paulina, the drummer, Animal of the Muppet show is a very slow and tamed drummer… 😉😆 Will see them again on their next Euro tour in April, they are invited to Wacken 2024, our metal Mekka in Germany! With most of The Warning's bangers (they have some ballads, too), drums tend to be prominent, thanks to the otherworldly talent of their 5'0" drummer, Paulina (POW!). She and her 5'7" sister on bass lay down a heck of a foundation, while 5'3" sister Dany belts and melts the guitar strings. Hope to see more from your channel!
They've been playing since 2013 when the bass player was 8yr old was the shortest sister and could barely hold her bass.

Enter Sandman from 2014 and then they did it again for the anniversary of Metallica's Black album where Metallica had various artists cover their songs. This was with Canadian Allessia Cara for the official music video but they also now cover it live and the best version is at Teatro Metropolitan. All three versions should be required viewing.
This video was filmed with 16 iPhones and a drone. They have three full albums and I recommend the songs Disciple, Z and Animosity from Teatro Metropolitan. If you prefer music videos the Disciple video is great as is the video for the song Error.
Many will recommend their performances from the MTV VMA awards where they do Evolve and the song More and both are good, however, More is one of my least favorite songs so personally I'd go with other songs I previously mentioned.
Also, they have three full albums, an EP and a single (Narcisista which is great and sung in Spanish - the song Martirio from the Error album is their other song in Spanish). Their second album is a concept album or rock novel called Queen of the Murder Scene and many react to that album in order in it's entirety, using the live show from Lunario CDMX where each of the songs were played live.

I remember Paulina "Pau" Villarreal, the drummer and middle child, saying she got a blister during this shoot because she doesn't normally wear gloves while playing.

The amazing thing about these sisters and their band isn't just their music releases. They are incredible people. They write their own music. They play all the instruments in studio... no session musicians... no autotune. They have an enthusiastic fan base, self titled as _The Warning Army,_ that they reciprocate genuine appreciate to. They actively engage with their fanbase through social media on a personal level through vlogs and mini documentaries. Their musical journey has been well documented and available online even before they dipped their toes into being professional. We essentially have the privilege of seeing their growth. Their intelligent, humble, and genuine personalities (on and off stage) have endeared themselves to fans of all ages, but particularly to us older rockers that felt Rock was dead until the breath of fresh air that is DPA (Dany, Pau, Ale) blew in.

This band is good in studio but special live. Choke and XXI Century Blood are the two tracks that I think are better with the official music videos, but everything else is better live - for live videos I recommend:
1) 'Evolve' at the VMAs (since you just watched the music video, you'll see how much heavier and more energetic the live version is),
2) '23' at the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX show (they posted the whole show on their TH-cam channel) - this song really shows off what Pau (the drummer) can do,
3) 'When I'm Alone' at the same Teatro concert - shows off Dany (guitarist and lead vocalist) - some of her best vocal work,
4) 'Disciple' at the Teatro concert - sick bass line from Ale, great crowd hyping from Dany, and Pau singing while playing a long drum roll and then fill in the second verse - basically shows off the whole band really well.
Then if you're liking what you're hearing, that whole Teatro concert is worth checking out.
As for Enter Sandman, if you want to do a bigger video, it's cool when reactors check out the cover from they were kids (the viral video with 20+ million views), then the official music video for their reimagined version of Enter Sandman that they did with Alessia Cara for the Metallica Black List album, and then their live version of that reimagined arrangement at the Teatro show in the same reaction.
