You and those who liked your comment must be experts in Japanese literature & poetry. A song has 2 parts - instrumentation & lyrics. Both are important to make it work. Unfortunately over past few decades gimmicky incontextual instrumentation had been prioritized unlike the classic era of rock in 60s, 70s, 80s. The Warning have brought back that intelligence & subtlety of classic rock through their insightful lyrics expressed by means of profound metaphorical poetry, mostly written by Pau. She and her sisters make us pause and think about contemporary society through their songs Since my Japanese is non-existent, to me The Warning are the most intellectual rock band to emerge in decades. Pau's dark & deep poetry is almost at the level of Dylan, Cohen & Waters. As many from The Warning Army say - came for the music, stayed back for the lyrics.
@@MrSudeepdasCouldn’t agree more. While I am impressed by the musicianship of Band-Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila, etc. To me they fall short in two important areas, Lyrics and Vocals. To reverse the initial comment. The Warning are what the J-Rock/ metal bands could be if they wrote more meaningful lyrics and delivered them with more connection to the music.
@@MTH58 Thank you for your insightful comment. Japanese rock is a different genre as well. Although its great to see both Band Maid & The Warning fangirling each other.
@@MrSudeepdas Yes, Band-Maid can't compete with Masters like *John Lennon* who in the song _"Come Together"_ had these lyrics: _- He wear no shoeshine, he got toe-jam football_ _He got monkey finger, he shoot coca-cola_ Okay, that makes sense...maybe? _He's got feet down below his knees..._ So they were not sticking out of his forehead? _Here come ol' flat top, he come groovin' up slowly_ _He got juju eyeballs, he one holy roller_ Kind of sounds like dear John was full of it? Drugs, that is... The most important thing with any song is not the instrumentation & lyrics. To me, it has to be how it was performed. That's why we judge the same song differently. If you watch *BAND-MAID / onset (Official Live Video)* you will understand just how important lyrics can be. 😉
@@TheUnderdogDe I have got no problems with your preference for instrumentation. I didn't start this comparison BTW. I definitely don't go around posting on other threads to belittle bands or deride their fans. Also, this discussion wasn't about the Beatles writing profound songs everytime. The reason I didn't mention them in the 1st place. To me a song has lyrics and that is equally important. Otherwise it becomes an instrumental piece like the one you referred to. You like instruments going at 100 kmph. The show is more important than substance to you. Fair enough. 😀
I don't know if people are aware that they basically did not have a normal childhood due to devoted all their time to become good musicians so they made many sacrifices to get to this point but they are not there yet. But it will be soon. I cant wait to see them at a big sold out stadium and the fans singing to their songs!
Great Reaction! If you want to see them when they were still young, check out the concert they put on for their Catholic School Classmates. They only had an EP out then, but played some covers also. The highlight for me is Pau (Pow) the drummer playing the song Escape The Mind on piano with all the young girls singing along with her. "The Warning Liceo de Monterrey Complete"
You should watch them playing Rock Band to their own song, Survive: th-cam.com/video/O8FIHdc3t50/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared . You may want to watch Survive from their TED talk or from the 2022 CDMX concert first. Also, watch the music video for Evolve. It is the White Rabbit that I followed to all of the other The Warning content last December. it was so good that it led me to watching reactors to confirm that they were just that good (a sure sign of genius being how much everybody agrees with you).
Yes, it is true, there is a lot of talent, but if talent is not worked on, it is of no use. It is true, there is a lot of talent, but there is also a lot of determination, discipline and above all, work, tons of practice and dedication, work, a lot of work.

@@MrSudeepdasCouldn’t agree more. While I am impressed by the musicianship of Band-Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila, etc. To me they fall short in two important areas, Lyrics and Vocals. To reverse the initial comment. The Warning are what the J-Rock/ metal bands could be if they
wrote more meaningful lyrics and delivered them with more connection to the music.
@@MTH58 Thank you for your insightful comment.
Japanese rock is a different genre as well. Although its great to see both Band Maid & The Warning fangirling each other.
@@MrSudeepdas Yes, Band-Maid can't compete with Masters like *John Lennon* who in the song _"Come Together"_ had these lyrics:
_- He wear no shoeshine, he got toe-jam football_
_He got monkey finger, he shoot coca-cola_
Okay, that makes sense...maybe?
_He's got feet down below his knees..._
So they were not sticking out of his forehead?
_Here come ol' flat top, he come groovin' up slowly_
_He got juju eyeballs, he one holy roller_
Kind of sounds like dear John was full of it?
😎
Watching reactions to Pau's scream is now my favourite thing on the internet.
500,000 views on YT already
🤘
Very fun reaction/hang guys. The Warning forever!
Great reaction the warning is number 1 love to see you do anything by the warning
Incredible!
Yes, it is true, there is a lot of talent, but if talent is not worked on, it is of no use. It is true, there is a lot of talent, but there is also a lot of determination, discipline and above all, work, tons of practice and dedication, work, a lot of work.
They still haven’t found the roof to that building yet!
The Warning is awesome!
For an awesome but overlooked band, check out Gacharic Spin and their song Mindset. Very fun and funky.
It was Dany Day on that Friday also. P. S Pau has Saturday and Ale is Sunday. They do something special most of the time for their Patreon members.
As great as The Warning are on video, they are even better in person. If you can, you must see them live!
Aww you stopped it at the best part lol. Watching these ladies when they were just kids to grown ups. We've been warned
Great reaction! You'll also love a more chill song like 23'. Pau (the drummer) sings lead while play drums ❤
Great Reaction Ladies!
I've watched all of your reactions to The Warning, and I just paid a visit to your "Buy Me A Coffee' page... Keep on Rockin'!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Im the danger is the lyric Pau made in 5 min. They were supposed to be opening for Guns n Roses but did the VMA'S
Girls, you have to react to the entire show when they presented the album Queen of the murder scene at the Lunario in Mexico, which is the best conceptual album made in years, and they wrote all the songs when they were not even 16 years old. ..greetings from Argentina!!!
Excelente reacción, siempre es un agrado ver vuestras reacciones y muchas gracias por mejorar el audio, las pude entender muy bien. Saludos desde Valdivia, Chile.
gr8 reaction ladieZ ... any of the live videos from teatro metropolitan last year are fire, that concert is a masterpiece ... r0ck 0n ... twa ... \m/
Try "Dust to Dust", from their "Queen of the Murder Scene" album. I believe there is a live version at the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert that is nice.
Great reaction! Thank you! The Warning jamás defrauda, talentosas, humildes, trabajadoras, son geniales! Mi sugerencia es: todas sus canciones son buenas, siempre mejor en vivo
When Mexico sends us their musicians, they only send us their best..
🙋⚡⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥
So sad the mic cut off grand-ma speacking.... I'm about the same age and ''we know some good rock'' I wish I could get more of what she is saying.
This just in. After weeks of fruitless searching MTV has finally located their roof. It just passed the moon's gravity field on a course to the outer rim of the solar system. It appears the roof is accompanied by an odd mixture of doors and windows.
That young lady beats those drums like they stole her lunch money...
Yes she does
