Todays video made me glad to watch because I have known many farriers, both in England and here, but never have I known any of them to come even close to your immaculate skills and very rare eye for detail. It is such a joy to watch you work and I am so incredibly moved by the way you always remember the shape of the hoof and then let the hammer work on the anvil, to make a perfect fitting shoe. This is quality and it is spotless and very tidy. The grinder adds the last detail. It’s beautiful! You do your work in your very own, very gentle way and always make it look so easy. It’s by no means easy.. It’s hard work. With every shoeing, I can tell all the little gems you leave. Thank you so much for that! They are gorgeous. You’re doing something that you love and that makes me so happy for you! Be easy Brett and be well. Please don’t forget to sit and rest for a while during your day! So much care ❤️🇺🇸🇩🇰
What is the purpose of burning the hooves with a horseshoe? I understand that it is for the purpose of checking for unevenness, but is there any other purpose beyond that?

Lovely work! And kudos to your photographer for capturing the trim for us.
Exceptional job! Bravo 👏
I be watching this at 12am
Bro, is your back fine? I mean you always need to bend your back while trimming the hooves. Nice video as always.
This may sound stupid but how do you know what shape to make the shoe fit. I noticed they are all a bit different.

It helps the shoe to stay on the foot better or properly once applied.
So it basically seals the hoof from being kinda open from being trimmed.
At 5:38, what's the name of the attachment you have for the drill?
@ 6:20 area a wire brush is used to tap on the shoe fresh out of the fire. por que?
