I'll always be here for my favorite band since 1979. There are none better I saw them in 85, 86, 91, and 2013. The 85 and 86 were the best moments of my life
Neil Peart was truly a poet and regardless of that fact that this album is under-rated (IMO), the synergy on this track is undeniably trademark Rush! Happy Friday Jess; great breakdown and vibe as always.
When I first heard this song (way back when it was originally released), I immediately connected with the lyrics. So thought provoking. I really love Geddy's muted but funky bass line. And Alex's solo near the end fits in with the mood of the song so well, an underated solo of his, for sure.
I've had to let some RUSH songs grow on me, this one I've adored since first listen. Lyrics, music, mood, I really love hearing this song. I saw the Roll The Bones tour twice; Topeka Nov '91 and Kansas City May '92. They always put on a great show. Great reaction, thanks for sharing your first-time listen with us, I really enjoyed it!
When Neil refers to the stars and planets, he is talking about Astrology, not denying science. He makes similar references in other songs such as FreeWill which would be a nice next pick!
One of their few love songs. And one of a number of songs on Roll the Bones that are about Chance. Why are we here? Because we're here. Roll the Bones. You can close your eyes and point to any of their songs and it will be good. If you're in a rut and want to pull out of it, Mission (studio version) from their Hold Your Fire album is an excellent choice. Nice reaction, again!
'Ghost Of A Chance' also had been released as a Single, and it's one of the very few Rush songs I've ever heard on the radio, both back in Germany and now in NZ.
Odd place to start with Rush. This is their late middle period and it's a completely different sound to the "classic" (1974 - 1981) and "80's synth" (1982 - 1987) periods which is the band at their creative peak. Still, a very good and underrated album.

Happy Friday Jesse! Rush is usually a good choice ..😊 This is one of the slower ones though the music is always good.
Good tune. On a different note, Kalandra just released a new song 3-4 hours ago titled "Ghost" .
Check out Lime light
Thanks!
Thank you SO MUCH!! :D
