    I’m on day 3 and trying to achieve 7 days. The longest I’ve gone is 5 days. Feeling inspired, thank you for sharing!

    I suffered from depression and was so empty inside , i tried to fill my void with eating , alcohol , partying and jumping from relationship to relationship. Then when i was at my lowest i started seeking Jesus and the more i did that my depression went away . Now when i start to feel this dark hole of sadness I will start praising Jesus and all sadness will be gone . Jesus is real ❤

    You been a inspiration to me brother. Just did a 6 day water fast.Stepped on the scale this morning weighting 130,I'm 46 and I'm at the weight I was in my teens. Been doing OMAD usually Monday-Friday and eat like 2 meals on the weekends within a 6 hour window.Your awesome brother love your channel and your message.

    i dont feel like fasting is extreme, I feel like its freeing and it feels good for your body and you feel clean and its effortless. adf or rolling fasts 42-48 hours is the sweet spot for me with 2-3k refeeds

      It's popular to watch mukbangs of people eating ridiculous amounts of food, or watch competitive eating. But going more than 24 hours without food is seen as crazy 😂

    Okay so I’m down 40lbs since I started April 1st this year. I worked my way up to rolling 94s. But lately I’ve fallen off fasting I’m only 15 lbs from my goal-trying not to beat myself up over falling off. Thank you for your content Jerome

    Ok, please listen to me. I had the same problems you have and I started prioritizing protein and making myself eat a certain number of grams every day consistently and I am no longer struggling with binge eating. It’s not a “diet” it’s eating the protein at a specific level CONSISTENTLY that will fix the binge eating. I PROMISE you it works! From there, you fill in the rest of your calories with either fats or carbs and if you’re still gaining weight, start trimming the fat and carb calories back until you see the scale start dropping but the amount of protein is NON NEGOTIABLE and it will fix the urge to binge. You don’t have to fast to fix this. The reason the fasting isn’t working is because your blood sugar is all over the place and that’s what causes the depression and anxiety. Love and hugs to you. If I can do this, you can do this. I am here for you. 😘🤗

    • @FinallyFasting
      @FinallyFasting  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Ok, please listen to me. I’m already doing this with protein. Fasting worked. It still works. This clip is from November 2023. I lost 80lbs in less than 5 months through fasting and have kept it off half a year later.

    Omad made me in control of my eating habits,one meal a day and that’s it. Longer fast makes me to binge and it made me totally helpless, like what’s the point of fasting for 36+ hours if I would end up overeating. Omad works for me and I’m losing weight too.

  • @Robert-n7v
    @Robert-n7v 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

    I been doing one meal a day. Typically a feeding window just long enough to eat 1500 calories. So far down to 227lbs. Losing about 1/4 lb a day. Just got to ignore cravings and get through the night..

    • @Ironclad6661

      I'm doing 1000 with two small 500 calorie meals mostly low carb ketogenic. I started with five day fast and got into ketosis on day 3. Lost 22 pounds in 14 days. Sounds like you're doing the right thing 1500 will get you there. 7-8 pounds a month is good way to go. But I have a surgery and in a life and death situation (almost died 3 weeks ago when hernia got incarcerated and strangled) so I'm trying to really get the weight off for the repair surgery. Have had 3 hospital stays since January. So I'm going hardcore AF to save my life.

      It's such a terrible cycle and one that is a daily battle, what helps me to keep pressing on is reframing my mind that if I lost the weight before, I can do it again. I encourage myself to say what can I learn now that I hadn't mastered before that led me to gain this weight...this reframing is helping me to stop focusing on myself physically but rather build myself internally. ❤ Praying all goes well for you...don't give up!

    I think we some times put our goals to the side and we drift off back into old habits , so how important are peoples goals ? , mine is weight loss and then I would love to fit into a spearfishing wet suit 👍 then tackle and learn how to surf , get back into horse riding and hiking , hopefully get back to playing a game of tennis or squash like I used to and really live life , that’s what it’s about for me focusing on those goals , fasting and getting my weight back down means a heck of a lot to me and those goals are going to keep me powering on , no amount of food is worth sabotaging my goals , maybe we all need to revaluate our priorities, just my 2 cents worth. Hope that helps with our why etc .👍
