For a commercial vehicle it looked to be in fantastic condition. The mix of cars was excellent considering this was a week night event rather than an all day weekend show though sadly I wasn't quick enough to get around to many of the real gems.
There certainly was a great mix from pre war cars to modern classics, modified cars to mopeds. Hope that I can make another of these events at some point.
My aunties Ex Husband had a Fiat Florino van, maybe a bit newer, i always thought he was a postman growing up as it was bright red 😂😂 Defo agree with you cannot ever remember seeing a Matra at a car meet i have covered. The V8 Esprit looks good in that colour and sounds awesome.... Hope you are feeling better now Mark, looking forward to the future content.
Thanks Davy, much better. The Esprit did look nice in that shade of blue I agree. There is a red Matra that was at the NEC in march that had been driven down from Scotland so you never know, you may come across it at some point.
It was a bit. I arrived and a few people came to talk with me and it was probably an hour before I started filming. Then when the temperature dropped and people started leaving early. Hopefully the weather will pick up soon as it always brings out more people for longer. There were definitely a few vehicles there that I would have loved to have featured had there been more time.
