I have not seen this before, Tiff showing Touring car driving dynamics in the best way I have ever seen, they were glory days. Tiff is always a favorite of mine, wherever he turns up.
My dad transported cars between Britain and here (N Ireland) professionally in the '90s, for many years; says he once encountered Tiff, after Tiff had test-driven a car belonging to the auction. Says he was incredibly rude and dismissive of the staff, and chucked the car keys over the counter without even acknowledging them afterwards.
Went to one of these 25yrs ago in Nottingham while staying a couple months in Britain and I gotta say I had an absolutely wonderful time. We've got good ones at Carlisle and the like here in Pennsylvania but the atmosphere and the kindness of the people at that one was amazing. Good fun that was and an unlikely highlight to my trip :)

That Marina is nostalgic to me because my grandad (no longer with us) had one when I was a little kid. He took us on fishing trips in it. Happy memories.

We "Yanks" love our swap meets as I believe the largest in the US is the Pamona CA swap meet.There is also an airport and the LA county dragstrip to boot.. It's mainly a Corvette/classic VW but with everything else too.

I think it was an old car part from pre-1971 that still had it's old price tag on it so when the buyer said 'hey it says 14 & 9 on here' the stallholder as a joke said ok you can have it if you pay me 14s 9 not expecting the guy to have any old money on him. At the time tiff was regularly driving a group c Porsche 962 with Derek Bell so a Sierra shouldn't have been a problem.
@@ianpegge9967 Tiff laughs nervously after correcting and you can see that the car was lined up to go onto the gravel. An F1 driver definitely has super quick reflexes along with tremendous physical strength and those few seconds when he wrenches the car back onto the racing line proved it.

I don't get this, Britain adopted decimal currency in 1971, but the guy paid for his item in pounds, shillings and pence.
You can accept anything you want as a form of payment, as long as you don't intend to bank it of course. This was basically a swap, but he'll maybe sell the old money to a collector. Get his money that way. 'Fair exchange is no robbery' as they say.
I think it was an old car part from pre-1971 that still had it's old price tag on it so when the buyer said 'hey it says 14 & 9 on here' the stallholder as a joke said ok you can have it if you pay me 14s 9 not expecting the guy to have any old money on him.
So when the guy randomly pulls out a load of pre-decimal money he has to take it!
