Jimmy is one of the very few following the paths of Fred, Bernd and others. The difference is that he raised the bar by doing harder, higher and rader FAs in style. Therefore, he should get all the support there from outdoor companies. Huge respect to HippyTree for their support. More companies should follow. Imagine sending this guy to more remote areas, such as India, Argentina, Himalaya, etc. in expedition style! He has the vision to establish highball V16s in the middle of nowhere...
Altough it was 2 years ago that this video was uploaded, I just want tot thank HippyTree for this. In my opinion this is by far the best climbing movie I have ever seen. I watch it almost every day. This is perfect znd exactly how others should do it! Thanks HippyTree and Jimmy!
One of the best videos I've seen this year. Just pure try hard, exploring, having a good time, nature and of course epic rock. Love the soundtrack too.
3 years later - still one of my favourite climbing films out there. Adventure, beautiful scenery, being immersed in nature, a psyched group of friends, and of course inspirational climbing and trying hard. Not to mention the great production and music. Love it.
Loved every second of it. The views, the nature, Jimmy doing his madness ascents. Do you need more? Watch it again, again and again. Credits to those who participated in creation of this masterpiece.
Awesome one! Watching Jimmy's movement shares extremely valuable lessons in tension, intention and drive. Oh, yeah, and Poison The Well references... Icing on the cake! Kudos!
This is the first time I have ever watched a video and been convinced to go buy a product. I never would have checked out hippy tree without Jimmy Webb but I am so happy I did
Saw this at the first premiere in LA a few months back, psyched that everyone else can see Jimmy's amazing development and knack for finding sweet, new, hard climbs!
great sunday morning entertainment! thx for providing that piece of motivation 💪 now I'm even more syked to got to the US for bouldering :D keep crushing...
Man, this was awesome. I knew about Jimmy when I went to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He climbed a lot of great boulders at some of my old stomping grounds. I love that Hippy Tree line, too. I’d love a pair of those pants.
The 10km doesn't deter me but the added water crossing does make logistics tricky. I really hope others go back. If I had this in my BC "backyard" I'd be stoked to go! But when I picture carrying a crash pad in BC trails or worse, bush wacking, it cracks me up. Our approaches just 10min uphill from Squamish are already rugged if you leave the grandwall central boulders.
Squoze, right next to Sleepwalker. Who'd have known 2 years ago that we would see that boulder again with one of the hardest (if not the hardest) boulder lines in the world with ROTS?
