This year (2021) marks our 15th year in business. To celebrate we’re looking back at memorable stories and key milestones that have defined the brand over the years. There’s not a ton to say about this old news clip from 2005. Yes it’s real and yes it really happened. In hindsight it probably wasn’t the smartest or most eco-conscious thing to do. But you need to remember we were hoodlums in our...

Man, I remember seeing this back in the day-it completely hooked me and sparked my curiosity. I was all in! Even as a kid into skateboarding and climbing, you guys made me feel like I belonged. I still remember those sticker packets you used to send me-I’d slap them up all over town like badges of pride. Bring the brand back! I miss you guys. Merry Christmas!
its called primo.
Love the way he has the snooks on…
can’t believe the greatest bouldering video ever is 4 years old already
Too bad their CLimbing clothes are completely Sold Out...
I’ve rewatched this video a couple times a year since it was released. Not sure what draws me back but I love it.
Thanks Jimmy-Tree
loaf sack
1:26 haha i did not expect to be hearing ken doherty in a bouldering video!! big snooker fan :)
bit shit that you cant buy the gear outside the USA
I just started climbing. I'm trying to figure out how much of it is sheer strength and how much is technique because I cannot even fathom holding onto some of this shit
Found hippytree pants in my local thrift store. Bought all 5 pairs. My favourite climbing pant by far now.
Best climbing video by far
Totally awesome Jimmy. So cool.. So great to watch and see you do your thing for the love not the medals.
This captures surfing at its best. Congratulations to you guys. What a gift to look back at this when ur 80 and say. We nailed it
dayum
The will power to come back and complete that boulder is insane! Great send my dude!

Alrighty so I’m gonna leave this here since you can’t review HippyTree on their website or Facebook and when you reach out to them they don’t get back to you. This series of pants was perfect for me. Bought my first pair and couldn’t believe how well they fit and they were instantly my favorite pant. Few months later they were in pieces. Didn’t over wash, over dry etc. but yeah they fell apart. Now I’m not broke so I bought another pair. Didn’t even think twice. Well maybe for a second. But I loved them so I was definitely buying another pair. A few months later. Yup. Second pair in shreds. Same thing. Terrible material, that doesn’t last and I know I’m not the only one who thinks so. I reached out to hippy tree and no response. Straight up sucks. Not the kind of business you wanna do. This made me go to a new company and that’s where I’m at now. The current pants I’m wearing had a serious problem in the drawstring area so I reached out to them and they’re sending me a new pair. Wish HippyTree would’ve done that. All they had to do was respond and they could’ve kept a customer. Pretty shitty in my opinion
These comments are unhinged. It is so easy to judge from behind a computer, especially if you don't climb. I am glad Isamer is ok, and I am grateful for all of the seflessness that was put on display by the rescuers and riggers.
Best climbing vid I've seen in a long time. Sound track is perfect!
Squoze, right next to Sleepwalker. Who'd have known 2 years ago that we would see that boulder again with one of the hardest (if not the hardest) boulder lines in the world with ROTS?
Best climbing movie I’ve ever seen period
Amazing film
tommy
Altough it was 2 years ago that this video was uploaded, I just want tot thank HippyTree for this. In my opinion this is by far the best climbing movie I have ever seen. I watch it almost every day. This is perfect znd exactly how others should do it! Thanks HippyTree and Jimmy!
same soundtrack as emerica stay gold. this rules.
7:34 this looks like the album cover for some really chill music
It’s so funny, Adam Ondra’s yells annoy the crap outta me but Jimmy’s get me so stoked 💪🏽😎🤙🏽
The 10km doesn't deter me but the added water crossing does make logistics tricky. I really hope others go back. If I had this in my BC "backyard" I'd be stoked to go! But when I picture carrying a crash pad in BC trails or worse, bush wacking, it cracks me up. Our approaches just 10min uphill from Squamish are already rugged if you leave the grandwall central boulders.
Wario noises 23:48
Excellent production
God I wish that ghost chant dyno was in slo mo, also was he drinking out of a honey bottle??
Did I leave the sag chin app
what does 8b mean? How do the ratings work?
We use a specialclimbing rate in the world of rockclimning. 8b is like olympic level. The highest rated route at this moment is a 9c+. So it can get a little bit harder but still
Why does jimmy look like a canadian drawn south park character?
Great surfing, hope to see you back in scorp soon.
Shiittt love this one... line and setting are INSANE 😍
That was some sick bouldering! Dino to the overhanging slopers was insane!
Sweet climb! That is my local crag - Bucks Bar. I live right up in Grizz.
Nets are aid. Joking:D nice story with a happy ending.
Witt ness
This is truly the best bouldering film I have ever seen. Thank you, I am now hyped for the next 324 years.
How do I join this gang??? Surf and stone? I'm in!
Still got stickers at least!
It's free marketing.
How come they never tried to find the folks who have been hanging shoes on the wires for decades?
Legendary. A staple in the South Bay.
"Slick guerilla marketing campaign." Nailed it.
some classic quotes in there
I hope this video never ends
