Very nice dish.
We can add different herbs and vegetables to this, just like for masala akki rotti.
Sabbakki soppu or nugge soppu; grated cabbage (green and /or purple); seeme badane, sorekayi, boodugumbala etc can be grated and added. Fresh grated coconut and coarsely powdered roasted peanuts...all make the rotti very tasty and very healthy. We can either make chutney of choice or eat with just curds and pickle.

I tried this today for my toddler but my roti wasn't soft like yours. Did you use high flame or low flame to roast it?
Thank you so much. Cook on medium to high heat. Cooking on low heat might result in the roti not cooking properly and becoming hard😊
