      Hello, I’d love to try this recipe.
      I’m having difficulty with understanding all the ingredients and measurements with the instructions.
      I’m just a boring American white girl 😉 and have a difficulty understanding audio instructions. I looked for the written recipe and didn’t see it. I’m sorry if I’ve missed it and not seeing it.
      Can you tell me how to find the written recipe?
      Thank so much in advance. Sorry for any inconvenience.
      This meal looks delicious !

    This is our traditional dish in Maharashtra. We call it Thalipeeth (थालिपीठ). Instead of Jowar flour we prepare it with Bhajani (भाजणी) in winter season. Bhajani is all pulses roasted with Jira Dhania and then grinded together. That Thalipeeth is also very tasty.

    Hi Nisha, made your jawar roti. Came out really good. I added couple of table spoons of freshly ground flax meal to it because in US the jawar flour we get is not as fresh as you get in India, so it tends to break. Flax meal kind of holds it together and also added some nutritional value. LOL.

    made them and came out really well in fact I had a box full of jowar atta and got very frustrated trying many tips and ticks and finally seeing your video made it well worth. The wet kitchen towel made a huge difference and also noticed the softness which I feel might be because of cucumber. Let me if that’s correct. Anyways thanks a ton and lots of love ❤️

    • @skinnyrecipes
      @skinnyrecipes  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Happy to know you enjoyed! The softness is not only due to the cucumber but also by sprinkling little water. I have shared a new video, another flavour of this. Do check it out and let me know. Thanks for being here. Much Love!

      But that cucumber should be gavathi ( local). Its has dark green colour cover. We call it 'tawasa' in local language.
