It's May 2024, and I just bought an iPhone SE. Love it so far! I know I'm in the minority, but I also bought the iPad mini at the same time. So, I use the iPad Mini for most of my tasks, except for strictly phone things or when I need to use it right away. I still love the design, including the home button. Even the display is better than I expected. Smaller screen also has a naturally higher resolution btw.
For me, i will choose this phone because it's crazy to think that this old chassis phone has a powerful chipset that apple put, and no other phone brands did that... That's why i like this phone, and also this phone balances your lifestyle to tech and to real life... I never had any option to buy higher specs phone, not because i cannot afford, BUT it's the usability of it, and it's very easy to hold and handy, with a blazing fast performance...
I have one from 2020 and still use it as an “iPod touch.” It’s great for its size. Phones are way bigger than most of us need. I miss the 4s and 5 size.
I do the same with my disabled SE3 haha. Syncs to air pods and sounds great. The camera is also insanely stable for extreme close ups of nature. It's nice and light for a jog
Well I got the phone just a few days ago and let me say that it’s good for what it is for me if I’m doing a lot of stuff on it I would only get 5 or 4 hours on it but if you’re only using it to text then maybe more
I have the original iPhone SE 2020. When it first came out, it wasn’t popular, but it was the only iPhone I could afford at the time. I still use it today, and I absolutely love it. It handles everyday tasks smoothly, and the camera is fantastic. The battery does drain quickly, but it’s not an issue for me since I have a fast charger.
I just left my 8+ and went to this one. I just can't do without my iTouch feature! With my 8+ people often ask, "How do you pay by touching that middle button?" It's just SO easy and simple. No password to enter, just my fingerprint. I added my thumb and index fingers which makes it SO simple. Love it! Great video, thank you!
This is great phone, I love it. The smaller size, home button and even the shorter battery uptime make it a perfect way to get off being constantly on the phone. The display and camera is good enough to perform everything you need throughout the day.
Literally just got mine in the mail just now off Amazon. Im used to plus size phones, but the clunker (8+) im using is basically dying, so using the the SE for a coupla years is a perfect bridge to whatever comes out in a few years. Also i hate having no button and this will buy me a few more years of putting off learning it.
For once someone doesn't say, omg the design is so old! I'm a simple tech person. i I used a 4S from 2016 until the SE 2 came out. I was so happy they released another one, at the time I used an iPod touch 7 for updated apps along side my 4S. Now i upgraded to the 3rd gen and love it more then the SE 2. I use my 2nd gen SE for all my YT videos
I LOVED my SE 2016. Regardless of being small, I had a defender otter box on it and it was dummy proof. Just a rubber block and I loved it. I love my 3rd gen as well. Basically an iPhone 8 new gen for cheap
Yesterday I bought the SE3, the nostalgia hit me hard. The only downside is the screen size, I’m gonna need some time to get used to it since I’m coming from iPhone 11. This will be my daily driver until iPhone 16 Pro comes out. In any case I’m keeping the SE3 since it’s the last iPhone to feature the iconic iPhone 6/7/8 design and the Home button.
I remember when I upgraded from my 5C to a 7, it was a nice upgrade. And that said this form factor is all I know meaning I don’t see it as being old and use my phone quite a lot. I did just wish it had better camera system.. The battery is pretty solid in my opinion too . Noticeable upgrade for my iphone.
@@memesyandhorrorshorts oh noo this was back when the 7 came out. I got the se3 this year though and still feels new, I don’t feel like it seems old to me because it’s what I know so it’s fine.
Got my iPhone SE gen 3 for $49.99 on a sale at Walmart about a year and a half ago. Still going strong and such a great little phone. I’ve had the 14pro/13/12 and 11 and so far for the value this is my favorite. Plus I like undesirable things because it’s truly great
When Apple launched this phone, I was so mad because they INCREASED the price even though they were using the same old iPhone 8 design..atleast they could’ve kept it at the same $400 price tag.. But on the other hand, for the new SE I really want Apple to keep the home button because it’s so iconic and works so flawlessly.. Maybe they should make 2 models, one with the old iconic design at a lower price, and one with a new whatever design at whatever budget price they want..
This phone is a perfect choice for "digital detox". With 4.7 inch screen its not so comfortable to dumbscroll TikTok and insta. Chats and calls, some music and photo - great. For the price of the new - 430$ not the best option but if you find a used in good condition for about 150-200$, its a good deal
Walmart has them prepaid for $150, and after 60 days can be unlocked to any carrier. Very much worth it in my opinion, it blows every other phone in that price range out of the water.
You probably weren't around when the only thing guys bragged about having the smallest was their cell phone. I went from a 6s to an 11 and now back to the SE3. Never liked the 11 from day one. At 73, I only want a decent phone, quickie camera, mail and messaging. The smaller size is perfect. Sits on a wireless charger at night playing good night music for 45 minutes.
The SE 2 and 3, Xr and 11 are important for the 10% of us that can’t use OLED due to PWM, even more so as it sounds like the SE 4 will be OLED. As for the SE 3, I wouldn’t buy new. Far too pricy!
@@techno_eclipse Android? Yuck! Yes I know 10% doesn’t sound much, but that’s MILLIONS of customers! Me, I’m still happy on my 8 Plus that I’ve had from launch. Love the 16:9 1080p screen. Besides, you know any Android phones not using OLED?

I am an android guy because of its endless possibilities and not really an Apple guy, however I really don't hate Apple either, I find iOS ecosystem looking really nice and neat for what it is and I do not use my phone everyday when at home nor have social medias to consume because I have better things to do in my life and rather keep my life private...and I am currently looking for a new compact phone because I really despise big phones, they're really just uncomfortable for me to hold them. I have been eyeing at both the iPhone SE and Pixel 8a, however, I kind of ran into a situation that since I am not really an Apple guy, the iPhone SE is just a perfect size...4.7" inches because of the top and bottom bezels making the screen a little bit smaller making it much easier to reach. Another issue is that as I have said, I am an Android guy, and I just LOVE to customize time to time, and Pixel 8a is 6.1" inches and that is how compact as it gets because the whole phone is literally just a screen just with thicker bezels on all sides scaling the screen a bit smaller which I do not really mind. I really don't care about the prices at the moment, all I want is a compact phone to get the job done. Back to researching I go.
I owned the se 2020 and 2022. I loved these things so much. The size was just so nice and the processor is blazing fast. If you don’t mind the design this is a great little phone. Personally I will never not love these phones.
Yes I have it now. When having used phones with 5000mah battery it is hard to adjust to a smaller battery. But I much prefer the size of the iPhone se@@kusov4748
It's hard to justify the pricetag. However, this would be the best phone for whoever just want to use iOS without spending too much, or a secondary phone maybe

Getting this phone is probably the best budget decision one can make. You have that chip that's still very much competitive and reliable, as well as subjectively a better form factor due to the one-hand comfort + the more reliable Touch ID. I do love Face ID but it can be very frustrating sometimes between hoods, glasses and weird angles. YMMV of course. As one that prefers smaller phones and doesn't need the latest and greatest the choice was between this or an iPhone 11/12 mini, which might have a few extra features but still a worse processor.

I am thinking of purchasing a 3rd generation se, I currently have a Samsung a54, would it be worth making the change? I don't care at all about the battery, just look for a small phone, with a good camera and durable. (I have never used iPhone, it would be my first IOS mobile)
Just bought one! Looking to get away from the “crack phone” feeling of my 13. When I got the 13, there was something about it that made it “too good”. I hope I can regain a healthy relationship with my phone once this one is gone.
I had this phone for 2 years and it held up generally well minus the battery after a year or so owning it but next month I am upgrading to an iPhone 15
I’m writing this on my 2016 iPhone SE. it stays in my nightstand great for watching in bed. Thinking about getting the latest SE in product red. Thanks for bringing me into reality. My daily driver is Motorola Razr from last year. It’s nice but looking to return to iPhone.
I would recommend this as the bare minimum iPhone model to get. Reason: the Qualcomm Snapdragon X57 modem, which means the phone support 3GPP NR 5G connectivity. That's why I'm not much of a fan of any regular iPhone model older than the iPhone 12, since they don't support 5G.
was thinking about purchasing it brand new but instead got an iphone 12 mini with its original box and 80% battery health for 250€, replaced the battery for an original one and now I have a 12 mini for 349€
Got this phone from my workplace and was pleasure to carry all day due to size. Screen was good enough, like everything else. Currently have Xperia flagship, but I loved the little iPhone.
As a person who has a google pixel 6 I just noticed that the android updates stop on the 6 in a couple weeks.. would you recommend to upgrade once the android updates have stopped being released on the 6…
I have an Samsung S20 ultra with outside cracked screen should I fix it which will cost me 150 or buy this iphone used from someone for 100 new condition?
I went from the original se to an iPhone 11 and I had nothing but trouble from the 11. Had to replace 3 SIM cards within the first year. Then I couldn’t send text to androids. Just got my se 3 and I’m thrilled. This is all I need. Just want to get and receive calls and text. Everything else I do on my iPad. When and if a se 4 comes out I will be first in line for it.
I love compact phones, I have SE 2016 & Red SE3,got mine for @220$ . Loving the classic look, comfy in my pocket..I also love 13 Mini..but too pricy.. 😊
I have used the se 3 about 2 years. The phone itself isnt bad but id not buy it. The reason is new apps and certain features are not made for the screen of this phone. For example; the helium mobile doesnt work properly on this phone, you cant scroll down to the bottom.
I liked your video. I am looking for a new phone. I tried the Samsung Galaxy A13 and it sucked. Why? Because it is great at games, photos, blah blah...BUT it sucked at being a phone. I don't need a phone with a great camera cuz for less money I can buy Lumix, Sony, Canon camera. I do have a tablet, and a laptop, and a desktop...I need aphone, a reliable phone that is great at being a phone. My old iPhone SE 2020 is fantastic at that, but I locked. Again, Ilik your take on the utility of the devices we use.
I bought my aunt one of these to replace her iphone 6s that was dying as a Christmas gift. I got it at walmart for $150. I also have one thats unfortunately carrier disabled, it makes for a great 2022 iPod touch, lol. Cant suck you in with no service 😂
It is October 2024 and I’m 26 and when people see me use my se from 2020 they say why ? I always say simplicity and also I like having a phone that fits in my pocket and I can use with one hand 😂

And stopped working all together- I did not want to get another phone anytime soon but I had to. Hopefully I will have the SE 3 for a long time. Thank you for posting this!
$150 brand new at Walmart with straight talk and after 60 days of service with them they unlock it very awesome deal in my opinion I just bought it myself coming from the iPhone SE 2020 2nd gen which was still very capable as well even today
I am thinking of purchasing a 3rd generation se, I currently have a Samsung a54, would it be worth making the change? I don't care at all about the battery, just look for a small phone, with a good camera and durable. (I have never used iPhone, it would be my first IOS mobile)
I have the latest 15 Pro and still daily use the SE 3 over it
No phone card sd?
yes I have SE and I love it and love your subscribed thx for the video
Just bought one! Looking to get away from the “crack phone” feeling of my 13. When I got the 13, there was something about it that made it “too good”. I hope I can regain a healthy relationship with my phone once this one is gone.
They should have included night mode on this phone
I've really been hoping that they keep this design for the next model but all of the rumors say otherwise so I might just get this one.
Just got one from Walmart for $150 …. Can’t beat it y’all complain too much , ima get use to this lil screen
I bought it 94 bh at 170usd couple of days ago
Was it worth it??
0:02 of course it’s worth it the iOS 17 and 18 support but it’s not worth it if you can’t sacrifice the full display iPhones
was thinking about purchasing it brand new but instead got an iphone 12 mini with its original box and 80% battery health for 250€, replaced the battery for an original one and now I have a 12 mini for 349€
Got this phone from my workplace and was pleasure to carry all day due to size. Screen was good enough, like everything else. Currently have Xperia flagship, but I loved the little iPhone.
I just bought the SE3 from Walmart for $179.99 with a prepaid plan
Hi. I love my SE3 exception the battery Life and the brightness that is to low outside.
Did you get a new one?
As a person who has a google pixel 6 I just noticed that the android updates stop on the 6 in a couple weeks.. would you recommend to upgrade once the android updates have stopped being released on the 6…
I have an Samsung S20 ultra with outside cracked screen should I fix it which will cost me 150 or buy this iphone used from someone for 100 new condition?
how is the performance of iOS 17 on this phone?
Super fast. What resource intense apps do you run on your phone? Unless you do, This works just fine for text, socials, internet, etc
I’m wonder how long can my 6.1 iPhone 15 phone, battery and software will last! 🤔
i'm thinkin' of upgrading to this phone. does anyone know how much it'll cost to upgrade?
Only thing I regret about it is the battery life… rarely enough to get through a day
Is it better than 12 mini?
I hope iPhone 14 products Red ♥️ come back with iPhone SE-4 (notch looks boring)😁
Just got it! So worth it and the camera quality for the price 🔥🔥
Just ordered one to replace my SE 2nd Gen
You could buy this phone for $149 and get it unlocked after two months. It's a good value.
I bought my aunt one of these to replace her iphone 6s that was dying as a Christmas gift. I got it at walmart for $150. I also have one thats unfortunately carrier disabled, it makes for a great 2022 iPod touch, lol. Cant suck you in with no service 😂
It’s only good if you buy used one at half the price, as sold as new has the price of a bf 13
which one is better in terms of video vs iPhone 12 mini
12 mini, the wide angle rear camera is very important to me
It is October 2024 and I’m 26 and when people see me use my se from 2020 they say why ? I always say simplicity and also I like having a phone that fits in my pocket and I can use with one hand 😂
Possible to get this model in £120 in UK
I just got mine today. I don’t like huge phones
I had to buy this renewed on Amazon because I lost my old iPhone XR…
I had the se 2nd weeks ago and got myself iphone 11.
Finally replacing my SE 2016
The information is interesting but the music is too loud so is hard to understand what are you saying for someone whose English is not the first language.
Got this phone last year as I don't need a glitzy smartphone as I don't have a job that requires it, and go to school.
Im getting the iphone SE 3.
iPhone mini would be closest thing to what he’s describing at the end.
I just got this phone in white. I want ro see a video of you using it for a week
Funnily enough, you’ve hit all the key points I tell others. It’s a wonderful phone. Just don’t pay list.
im late but i find my screen of my 13 is too big. 6 is too much im a minimalist
First!! I feel like it’s been a while since I have been able to get first comment on this channel. However, I’m still your biggest fan 😘
I bought a new sealed one with warranty $250 as a spare phone.
I don't want this. I want the iphone 13 mini but my parents are trying to get me this one.
