It's May 2024, and I just bought an iPhone SE. Love it so far! I know I'm in the minority, but I also bought the iPad mini at the same time. So, I use the iPad Mini for most of my tasks, except for strictly phone things or when I need to use it right away. I still love the design, including the home button. Even the display is better than I expected. Smaller screen also has a naturally higher resolution btw.
The SE 2 and 3, Xr and 11 are important for the 10% of us that can’t use OLED due to PWM, even more so as it sounds like the SE 4 will be OLED. As for the SE 3, I wouldn’t buy new. Far too pricy!
@@techno_eclipse Android? Yuck! Yes I know 10% doesn’t sound much, but that’s MILLIONS of customers! Me, I’m still happy on my 8 Plus that I’ve had from launch. Love the 16:9 1080p screen. Besides, you know any Android phones not using OLED?

Just got my se 3 and I’m thrilled. This is all I need. Just want to get and receive calls and text. Everything else I do on my iPad. When and if a se 4 comes out I will be first in line for it.
I am an android guy because of its endless possibilities and not really an Apple guy, however I really don't hate Apple either, I find iOS ecosystem looking really nice and neat for what it is and I do not use my phone everyday when at home nor have social medias to consume because I have better things to do in my life and rather keep my life private...and I am currently looking for a new compact phone because I really despise big phones, they're really just uncomfortable for me to hold them. I have been eyeing at both the iPhone SE and Pixel 8a, however, I kind of ran into a situation that since I am not really an Apple guy, the iPhone SE is just a perfect size...4.7" inches because of the top and bottom bezels making the screen a little bit smaller making it much easier to reach. Another issue is that as I have said, I am an Android guy, and I just LOVE to customize time to time, and Pixel 8a is 6.1" inches and that is how compact as it gets because the whole phone is literally just a screen just with thicker bezels on all sides scaling the screen a bit smaller which I do not really mind. I really don't care about the prices at the moment, all I want is a compact phone to get the job done. Back to researching I go.

I have one from 2020 and still use it as an “iPod touch.” It’s great for its size. Phones are way bigger than most of us need. I miss the 4s and 5 size.
I do the same with my disabled SE3 haha. Syncs to air pods and sounds great. The camera is also insanely stable for extreme close ups of nature. It's nice and light for a jog
Yesterday I bought the SE3, the nostalgia hit me hard. The only downside is the screen size, I’m gonna need some time to get used to it since I’m coming from iPhone 11. This will be my daily driver until iPhone 16 Pro comes out. In any case I’m keeping the SE3 since it’s the last iPhone to feature the iconic iPhone 6/7/8 design and the Home button.

At 73, I only want a decent phone, quickie camera, mail and messaging. The smaller size is perfect. Sits on a wireless charger at night playing good night music for 45 minutes.
When Apple launched this phone, I was so mad because they INCREASED the price even though they were using the same old iPhone 8 design..atleast they could’ve kept it at the same $400 price tag.. But on the other hand, for the new SE I really want Apple to keep the home button because it’s so iconic and works so flawlessly.. If there are so many compromises choosing an Android is the best. You should go on a hiking trip with this phone. If you don't regret it then there's a problem.
If you buy it used I think the value depends on what matters to you. If you want updates and performance, it’s great. If you want it to look cool and have a great display and camera, it’s not.
@@tatedehaanmusic3076 I guess I’m one of the few who still really like the design of the SE. It’s classic, timeless… If they still sold it in Jet Black I would rather use it than a 15 pro.
It was never worth it. The phone is trash. If I wanted a phone that looks like an iPhone 8, then I'd buy an 8. Get an 11, 12, 13 or 15. They offer far better value than the SE.
The iPhone design peaked with the 8, the newer models with multiple cameras and old-school clunky edges just looks so lackluster. The advantage of the se is having peak design with modern software and chips
Recently got one for just 152$ and I'm really happy with the performance, this phone is made for those who are using Android and wants to experience iOS.
@@ungrateful2007 sorry for the late reply but my experience with this phone is neutral. Not too bad not too good either, the problem I've faced are the network connectivity where u can't force 5g only mode like Android so it keeps switching between 4g and 5g and I play games a lot so the display size makes is hard for me during gameplay. The keyboard experience feels slower. Other than that app optimizations are top notch.... Also u can sideload 3rd party modded apps if u know how to but it's not that simple.

Funnily enough, you’ve hit all the key points I tell others. It’s a wonderful phone. Just don’t pay list.
Specs to price, it's bad value but it gets the job dkne for most people. The kind of people who aren't spec sheet hungry.
Slow down……
The information is interesting but the music is too loud so is hard to understand what are you saying for someone whose English is not the first language.
I had to buy this renewed on Amazon because I lost my old iPhone XR…
Got this phone last year as I don't need a glitzy smartphone as I don't have a job that requires it, and go to school.
I’m wonder how long can my 6.1 iPhone 15 phone, battery and software will last! 🤔
i'm thinkin' of upgrading to this phone. does anyone know how much it'll cost to upgrade?
iPhone mini would be closest thing to what he’s describing at the end.
Oh wow! Thanks for the inclusion. 😁
0:02 of course it’s worth it the iOS 17 and 18 support but it’s not worth it if you can’t sacrifice the full display iPhones
First!! I feel like it’s been a while since I have been able to get first comment on this channel. However, I’m still your biggest fan 😘
3 video time hrs ? Sorry man no way
I just got this phone in white. I want ro see a video of you using it for a week
Im getting the iphone SE 3.
Thats why the 12 / 13 mini exist..
I had the se 2nd weeks ago and got myself iphone 11.
which one is better in terms of video vs iPhone 12 mini
12 mini, the wide angle rear camera is very important to me
It's not.
Me with my iPhone 7 Plus
Dude I got this phone for $40 bucks and I don’t even think it was worth it for how much it keeps glitching out
Glitching out? I haven't seen any of that
welp, $40 bucks...
If there are so many compromises choosing an Android is the best.
You should go on a hiking trip with this phone. If you don't regret it then there's a problem.
What android phone would you suggest?
Older flagship.
1. OnePlus 8 (2020)
2. Samsung S21(2021)
3. Samsung Note 20 ( 2020)
Midrange.
1. Pixel 6a (2022)
2. Nothing phone 2a (recently launched)
Wouldn't suggest Xiaomi or Oppo (Chinese) as it's regional availablity varies.
@@renollNo thanks!
Its great its like 160 on black market
It’s Back Market. Black Market sells guns.
This phone sucked from the day it was released... Very bad value for money
It’s a great value when you wait a couple years and buy it refurbished for much cheaper.
You think I don't look cool with this phone? This is news to me 🤣
It’s good if all u want is a home button
It was never worth it. The phone is trash. If I wanted a phone that looks like an iPhone 8, then I'd buy an 8. Get an 11, 12, 13 or 15. They offer far better value than the SE.
The iPhone design peaked with the 8, the newer models with multiple cameras and old-school clunky edges just looks so lackluster. The advantage of the se is having peak design with modern software and chips
What about 14
@@kakarot4243barely improved upon 13 and is more expensive
I can get a iPhone 13 mini for the price of se
Get the 13 mini!
Recently got one for just 152$ and I'm really happy with the performance, this phone is made for those who are using Android and wants to experience iOS.
That's correct I'm getting one about nextweek. How is the experience
@@ansuma1 thanks
@@ungrateful2007 my pleasure
