Correct. 2+ 4in for a total of 6in. Most of the 2in lift comes out. Minor trimming in the wheel well. Just removed the inner fender brackets and pulled back. I’ll have a separate video on that coming up in a little while.
@@BC_Hunter correct. I talked about the different kits available in the video., difference between the 4 and 6in kits. The part number is also in the description if that helps. Basically this kit removes most of the stock 2in kit and replaces it with the 6in kit.
Yes there is some small cutting of the frame to install the new drop brackets. For the wheels and tires, just some pulling back of the fender liner and removing brackets. A little trimming of some plastics. No cutting of the body of the truck.
According to GM the stock trail boss is 6’6”. The lift and tires raised this 5.5”. So any parking garage around 7’ may be an issue. Another popular option is to go with 33” tires instead of 35”
I have a 2024 trail boss. I want to do the same bds lift. I have a question though. Will I want the same off set if I go with the same off set if I go with a different rim. I only want maybe an inch at most sticking out of the wheel well?
The -18 offset is closer to 1.5 to 2in. If you would like to get closer to 1in maybe look at -12 offset. I took some footage of the wheels and tires towards the end of my video if that helps.

How tall does it make the truck overall I go to a lot of concerts that require using a parking garage need to know if I’d fit

Truck looks good. What were the size of wheels again? 20x9.5? Also what was the offset of the wheel?
