    I want to buy Mazda but those 2nd row legroom are terrible. They're the tiniest in all class. I think Mazda market targets are single and young couples with no kids.

      I just bought this model and I plan to pack miles on it until my son is like 10(8years from now), then I'll buy something bigger. But for toddlers and kids it's great! If I ever need to stick adults in my back seat I'll take my tacoma.

    Remote Start? Didn’t see that on the key fob?

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      A number of manufacturers who offer proximity key fobs are starting to go with remote start through the phone app, I believe that’s the case with these Mazdas. 🙂

    You mentioned 186hp? I thought they bumped it up in 2023 to 191 horsepower (on the CX-30 but not the CX-5)

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You’re correct, thanks for mentioning it! I just revisited the window sticker link. I’m use to the 186/187 of most of the other 2.5 skyactive. Good catch, and thanks for watching! 🙂

      @@AutomotiveAnonymous208 No problem. Reason I know is I have been researching this model to buy. Deciding if I wanted the turbo or non-turbo model. (I like the red seats in the Carbon edition but you can't get the turbo with that model.)

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you haven’t driven them already, the turbo is a hoot. I highly recommend it. But correct, no red leather. Unless….. you can convince the dealer to swap seats?! 😉😉 lol

      @@AutomotiveAnonymous208 My niece bought a 2022 CX-30 (non-turbo) and loves it but says it doesn't have the zip that her Mini Cooper S had so to wait and try the 191hp model (or get the turbo :-))

    • @inctru

      2023 model CX-30 bumps up horsepower to 191 & *also finally adds cylinder-deactivation technology* to all CX-30 trim levels - a feature that some do not like due to past issues/problems with that technology among various automakers (including Mazda). I'm happy that I bought mine in 2022, without it. The 186hp non-turbo engine feels great to me for this size/weight vehicle, so eye of the beholder I guess. I don't fancy myself a street-racer, or have Fast & Furious driving aspirations. 😛

    No bose sound..No power liftgate..not even remote start on remote..big pass for me..

    • @inctru
      @inctru ปีที่แล้ว +22

      Still best in class (I have a 2022 CX-30 Carbon Edition). Stock sound systems sound great IMO. The little, lightweight CX-30 hatch doesn't even need a power liftgate & I can't even believe people actually cry about stuff like this. No remote start on physical remote (just with app) - don't care since I won't ever use it anyway where I live. Good luck finding a better Crossover in this size/price segment, or buy a higher trim level with those features.

    The cheap plopped on plastic infotainment screen looks awful. Mazda has a clean, refined interior. They need to integrate the infotainment screen into the dash like Audi does.

    • @melbrown2295

      Audi only does that so that when something inevitably goes wrong on it, it’ll be loads of labor & reintegration costs to the customer in order to fix it.

    • @davidhunternyc1
      @davidhunternyc1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@melbrown2295 There is a way to integrate the infotainment screen into the dash that's seamless and will not cost an arm and a leg to fix it when it breaks. Imagine creating a recessed rectangular area in the dash, variable in size, where a fully integrated screen, as thin and complete as an iPad is attached with a USBC connector and can be removed and upgraded at will. This isn't rocket science. Instead Mazda and others use an infotainment screen that looks like it's from Radio Shack.
