    It would be unwatchable for the general public if these videos were only about cattle hooves. But these videos, besides being informative, are full of everything else around these hooves. It's a pleasure to see a man who loves his job working, Graeme has absolutely charismatic, wholesome, funny, reasonably humble personality. He tells about animals, farms, and farmers, he shows it all ARTISTICALLY. There must be a psychological reason why we love seeing animals mended, but that's only part of the story.
    Thank you so much, Graeme, and thanks to everyone involved.

    I actually have been wondering what "The Hoof GP" meant, especially the "GP", so I appreciate you explaining it from time to time for people like me who get confused😂 As always, it's nice to see how well you look after these cows, and even though I'm not a farmer, nor do I work with cows, I enjoy watching these videos, and watching you do what you can to make sure the cows live healthy, comfortable lives. Thank you so much for you services, Graeme!💙

You got to do your work early, which allowed for time to spend with your wife and kids in the afternoon and could work on community and maintenance in the evening. When I was a kid we used to go to Michigan to visit friends. One of them had a Mom who was still raising beef cattle by herself at 75. I remember her giving us each a bucket of corncobs to feed them. I was amazed at how gentle they were with us. I am so glad to see when you relieve the pain of these " gentle giants ". Thanks

    • @tarantulady8565
      @tarantulady8565 4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Beatrice Bolt Not too gentle, these giants. They kill farmers every year. This is why Dr. Jan Pol, a famous Michigan large animal vet, wrote a book called Never Turn Your Back on an Angus Cow. Cattle kill around 20 farmers per year in the US, 22 in Australia, and 5 in the UK. They’ve been named the most deadly large animals in Britain. Gotta watch out around them.

    • @randallsmerna384
      @randallsmerna384 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He doesn't see every cow every two weeks. For instance, seeing 60 cows every two weeks on a farm that has 300 head means he would see every cow every 10 weeks, (300/60 = 5 visits x 2 weeks = 10 weeks).
      Of course, some of the cows with issues he'll see every visit or sometimes even more often on a special visits if necessary.

    Graham, you boys and family are awesome. As a mixed Scot, I appreciate your drone videos of the countryside there is magnificent. I live in South Western Maryland in the US. Not that far from Washington DC. However, we live in the country and our area is similar, kind of, to yours except for the mountainous area of yours. But in northern Maryland we have our own. We live near the Patuxent River in a watershed area where cows and bald eagles live and corn and soybeans are planted and sown, all thrive here. And farmers clean farm. Whoop whoop. We have Angus cows black and brown. And now that I watch you, I'm thinking, are the cows here getting the same care as the cows you deal with. Hope all is well there and God bless you all.❤
