My AC Infinity S44 crapped out after 1 year!!!!! My Kind X 750, my Mars FC 6500, and my Viparspectra XS 4000 are all still kicking strong.
Seem quite a few of the AC infinity lights crap out. Was it the driver exploding and leaking or the chips turn into a disco ball?

I disagree with the AC infinity lights, everyone I know that's bought one regretted it. Most of them crapped out. I would recommend the HLG Tomahawk.
Try optic led. They last longer than 10 years and have the best tech and spectrum
@@Prometheuss.cannabis.corner I have about $15k worth of. AC Infinity equipment. Started using ACI 4yrs ago & To date there hasn't been a single light or device to break down. They are all still pushing like I just opened the box. Par meter says the same my friends. FYI. Keep your equipment Clean & take care of your stuff & it usually won't crap out. Good luck growing!

It just received my 500w migro,it's going in a 4x4.I was gonna pull the trigger on their 750 watt model but am hoping the 500w gets it done for me

All very nice lights, though the Umol/j mentioned here on all of these lights is incorrect. Real world testing will show lower numbers.

I grow different sizes and amounts at time. Does it matter if you put several small lights instead of one large one? If you’re getting coverage I don’t see the issue. I like one light with full coverage but multiple lights also because if areas need more light you can adjust heights and positions. That said I’ve done about equally good with both so figd I’d get other opinions
I use 2 ts600 and a ts1000 Mars hydro in my 5x5 growing 4 plants and waiting on my phlizion 6500 to arrive. I just don’t like having different lights cause am using more timers and would rather one big light for tidiness and less hassle moving more lights but get good results from the 3 lights, but 650 watts vs 350atm is a win for me
I like multiple lights so the light spread crosses in multiple places and I can add lights or switch some off when needed as through different stages, one light is easier to manage though.

If you're in a 4x4 you need more light the minimum you want is 32 , 500 is good for veg but you want atleast 650 watts for flower to get nice dense flower

I got 2x mars fce8000. Can't say how good vs other leds as these are my 1st attempt but vs 2x600w hps no comparison, led is far better. Only done one crop but I was up over 20% yield and didn't go above 60% power because I didn't want to fuk my 1st crop. I'm sure il get .uch better results next time.

The TSW2000 is actually even better bang for your buck at 348w draw from the wall from a 2000 series light that most brands are 200-220w on
But I think the TS3000 is still great cuz it's a 450w light in a 3000 series model lol so yeah both are great buys

So i'm still undecided, I get that cheap LEDs aren't as good as hps but aren't the really intense (HLGs) up there now? I'm still trying to decide between CMH and LEDs and even though I'm coming around to the idea of LEDs, when you hear growers talk about CMH they all say 'they are amazing and nothing comes close' ....... with 30 years grow experience what's your opinion on it? Have you tried CMH or do you always stick with hps? Are they both better (hps cmh) than LEDs or is it just the hps ? I always prefer the opinion of long term growers rather than just par tests (even though they are very useful) ...... appreciate any response

It is amazing the things that people say without having the common sense to be embarrassed by it. What a stupid comment. Everything in the industry is saying exactly the opposite of what you just said. No matter whether you're talkin about home growing or commercial growing. Commercial outlets are dumping HPS as quickly as they can. It's not rocket surgery unless you're a moron.
No they aren't. They are less efficient overall. Cheapest to get into, most expensive to stick with.

They were when leds were just blurple fan boxes, times are changing.
Correct they are easily the best and used by all commercial growers in the world. They only use LEDs for seedling and rooting cuts.
A 600W HPS is 'BY FAR' the best choice of lighting for a 4 x 4 tent.
These people all know we are correct but they all get paid to push agendas and sell products.
Some of them give very bad advice on purpose too.
Optic LED uses the same diodes as a\c infinity but they offer a 10YEAR warranty
