reason than YEILD and the Cheap Ambient heat from the lights... Y'know a bit like the SUN!! Which LEDs are NOTHING LIKE.
Many commercial growers are not even use LEDS for Seeds and Clones or Vegging either. Most still use CFLs.
All these FACT prove you are just here to sell substandard lights for MONEY.
PS: LEDs are constantly flickering on and off.. HPS does not do that and the intensity of the HPS is much higher with much more effective range... I speak from 3 decades experience growing.. You cannot prove anything I have just said not to be 100% TRUE because it is all 100% True.

id say almost anything over $600 and your prolly wasting your money for a 4x4... Lights these days especially if you watch for sales should be no more than .80 cents/watt. Often can be bought for as low or lower than .50/watt. I just bought a ViparSpectra KS5000 for $418 shipped and that was on the more expensive side. I could have done much better waiting for 420 Sale.

I just got the medic grow fold 6 for 348$ absolutely the best deal and the light is insane! Only draw back to this light is that it a fold bar light that doesn’t lock so to get it to hang in a 4x4 with the lights flat out it’s gonna hang low so your going to have to rig it up so you can put it about a foot away from the top of a 4x4 I used regular ratchets for the middle and I got free chains from my hydro store I always go to and it sits perfect now

I'm just getting into growing and I'm curious what your thoughts are on the bloom plus lights. the xp3000 and xp4000 are using the LM301b diodes and they look like they are designed better than their older models. I'm looking at something very cheap to test the waters.
It came down to using a 300/400 watt bloom plus or having to try using a 100/200 watt version of mars hydro, spider farmer, or vivosun. I would assume I'm better off with the higher watt light even if its not as high quality overall?

    • @claytonalexander9105

All these lights are the same... They just diodes and drivers. They all using the same exact parts. Generally the industry standard is Samsung LM301B and Meanwell, Inventronics, Moso, DRMA, Sosen, Drivers. Bloom Plus are great lights, BloomSpect, Vipar Spectra, Mars. Sometimes Spider Farmer but usually they way overpriced. HLG. Doesnt matter if you put them together yourself or buy them assembled... All of these companies are offering the same products.

I have a question, I hope you can answer it. I am thinking about making a 2 grow rooms about 10ft x 12 ft , indoors. I need suggestions to light them. I want to be as economical as possible(cheapest electric bill/mo), I do understand pretty much all lights these days will suffice, I guess I would want them either dimmable or easily raised/lowered. One room prob all lights. The other one prob 3/4 of it. I just need to know what maybe to look for. I guess a commercial setup for my space.
