    Gosh! How do I thank you, Emma, what a relief!. My brand new solar panel broke yesterday while I was transporting it back to my house from the courier service that brought it from Lagos. How can I thank you enough for this video? Much more, am utterly grateful to you Emma for always responding to me each time I text or call in desperation even though we have never met. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. I know you made this video because of my sad text to you to allay my gross disappointment and lamentation. This is so thoughtful of you Emma. I am indeed very very grateful. I do not take this gesture lightly. God bless you indeed. I have been reading about cracked solar panels since the incident yesterday. Your video couldn't have come so early. Some also say it should be covered with a sealant to protect the cells from rainfall and dust. They suggest that it is not just about generating current but if the cells or diodes are exposed since the glass is now broken water and dust would eventually enter the cells and the cells in the panel would die. Today, I went into a solar shop to check if they have any sealant to spray over the panel as shown in foreign videos but I was told those products are not in Nigeria. Rather they used transparent Sellotape to careful wrap over or overlay the cracked solar panel. Thank you Emma for all that you are doing. You are such a blessing indeed!!!!

      🙏🙏, if the crack is not rough to palm feel, water can't get it into.

      Don't connect the broken one together with the good ones

      @obinnajoseph8921 So, in essence, throw away the cracked panel? I don't understand. If u cover it with a glass or sealant, why can't you connect it? I am just asking. I am not disputing what u said , I just want to know why ?

      As long as as cell is not damaged, your solar is still effective.
      Might have 3% difference from the new, because am sure no cell was damaged

      @Mairigaemmanuel Thanks so much. You have relieved my sorrow , to throw away a new expensive panel like that is just painful. Moreover, it is bifacial 700w panel , the back side is still very much intact.

    My 300watts x18 panels has generated only 3kw at max ,I'm not cool with it ,300 x18 is 5400 which is supposed to generate 5.4kw ,but bad as e bad ,it's supposed to generate atleast 4kw or 4.4 ,losing 1kw to wire or whatever....what should I do?

    • @Mairigaemmanuel
      @Mairigaemmanuel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      First, the panels won't be generate that exact amount of energy you expected.
      Secondly, the power will increase when the amount of energy consumption increases

    • @africancombatsports8160
      @africancombatsports8160 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Mairigaemmanuel Yes I know it won't generate 5.4kw and I'm not expecting it to do so ,that's why I said it should generate atleast 4kw or 4.4 ,losing 1kw to conversion processes..but you said something about consumption power increasing ,maybe I will look out for that too and see if any changes occurs .

      @@africancombatsports8160Apart from the conversion losses, the quality of the panels also comes into play. That's a major factor.

      Those 300w you buy in the market, non of them will give you more than 230w, so work with 220 to 245w

      Even your favourite panel won't generate 60amp under that weather
