- in this video I gave a step by step guide on how to install solar panels using aluminium profile interlock as the panel rack.
there necessary steps and tools needed to achieve this project
first you have to cut your interlock into 1ft pieces if you don't have money to use a whole full length, secondly you have to know the number of pieces you're going to use for the installation.
after knowing the right thing to do, don't forget to use the right tools like drilling machine, measuring tape and spanner.
things needed for the project are
1; Aluminium interlock
2; 3 inch screw
3; 14 or 17 size bolt and knots.

I learned a lot from you
You are doing well sir, God bless you
🙏
Amen
Yes i appreciate this
sir, thanks a lot
Thanks bro
God richly bless u for sharing your knowledge
Amen
GREAT JOB, What is the size of Aluminium interlock or profile use to mount solar panel to the roof
thanks sir, am waiting for more of it cos am a beginner
pls i need video on how to size solar , inverter, battery charge controller.
In my next video
Great content
You are blessed
Amen
Exactly how it is done... 👍🏾
I usually advice placing fresh flash band before drilling ot nailing just to be double sure.
If not for high price on expenses, using a long profile that isn't cut into smaller sections would have been best as you wouldn't be drilling too many points on the roof, and still achieve very good mechanical strength.
Yeah, I do use that full length but depends on how much I charge for accessories
Well done. nice one
Thank you sir
Waiting for your next video
Dropping tomorrow
Nice one Solargod
Thank you sir
Nice one, although the video is somehow blurry.
Please what's the name of the drilling machine you use, can you please post a link containing the yellow toolbox you are holding together with the drilling machine?
Also, am waiting for part two of this video.

well done sir, I totally agree with u but even without d profile there's airflow through d longspan waterway . what do u think?
That's for this type of roof, what of the other types like the stone finisher?
Not all roofing sheets have same waterway design
And secondly aluminum profile makes ur work neat
The problem with this type of profile is the many holes made by several screws on the roof! Instead of just fewer holes by the professional mount rails. 😢
That's not a problem at all, the holes are so much tiny that even when removed water can never get into that hole
There are so many nails already in the roof, before the solar installation. The extra fewer nails does not cause harm. The panels itself becomes a roof ontop of the existing roof.
My installers used this process and I ended up with holes that resulted in water leakages. I am still addressing those holes.
He used nails?
Yes. At least i didn’t see a drill.
Maybe that was why
@@Mairigaemmanuel Perhaps. But my roof is also different from this, and is quite highly pitched. How does the nailing happen for stone coated roof tiles?
Your install should have glued flash tape which is to prevent leaks before nailing of after nailing he should have applied silicon gum round the nailed points to prevent leakages.
Oga use full aluminum profile don't economise the materials follow normal white man principles.
You could as well say this in a calm manner and everybody will understand you even better. Come on this is rude.....
Why use full alumimium profile. It is easier to use full aluminium profile, takes less time and effort, but it is not necessary.
This is Nigeria where clients are not ready to pay for full installation cost. Installers have to find a way around this. This is exactly how I go about my Solar Panel installation for those clients on budget. I appreciate you Solargod
Thank you sir
I don't leave my life to follow the white man like a slave.
I have the means I did manufacture all those
