- Here we have Kosmic dipping his toe into the Kaizo Mario waters for the first time. He thought it would be a great idea to do this at 3am. For some reason.

this is a side of kosmic i haven't seen and it's actually really fun to watch lol
5:41 it was originally "bird" type, according to leftover data in red and blue versions' code. While I am no expert, I assume that it was changed to "flying" so that Pokémon like Zubat and Charizard could have the type (and therefore avoid ground-type attacks since, well, they can just fly) without being labeled something obviously incorrect.
LOL you should have been in stream we had a crazy conversation about pokemon stuff. This vid understates how goofy that stream was lol.
When Landorus is a bird, and Hawlucha is a literal bird as opposed to a Pokémon that looks like a Luchador dressed as a bird, and all Dragon/Flying or Flying/Dragons are birds, and the Zubat/Woobat line are birds, and Scyther, Butterfree, Masquerain, Mothim, the Combee line, the Yanma line, Vivillon, and Beautifly aren’t bugs but birds, Gyarados isn’t an Eastern Dragon but a bird, the Mantine line aren’t fish but birds, the Drifloon line aren’t ghostly hot-air balloons but birds, the Gligar line are birds, the air pollen the Hoppip line are are birds, Shaymin-Sky Forme is a bird, the Archen line is a bird, Emolga is a bird, Minior isn’t a meteor but a bird, and Celesteela isn’t the invasive bamboo but a bird.

This level is funny because it had the two things Panga hate the most nowadays: troll blocks and the cloud enemies.

This was the way I felt when I played Getting Over It for 8 hours straight. It was literally easy to play while also easy to mess up at that point, and it just would hurt whenever I’d have to restart a part I’d been past so many times.

5:55 what AEON_meteorite is missing out on is that in Chinese mythology/culture the cats are all dogs. That's because there were no lions north of the Himalayas but in Buddhism a lion plays a prominent part in the Buddha's life story, so Chinese Buddhist monks bred short-faced dogs like the "Pekinese" to resemble what a lion is supposed to look like. This is why Chinese lions have dog-like features mixed in with the more obvious cat-like ones.
Nice level playthrough! I really enjoyed watching your attempts, reactions, and the Kosmic-isms. Swag strats and laughs. If you did more Kaizo levels, I would enjoy watching them.
Playing any game when sleepy is a whole new difficulty. I remember trying to play bo1 zombies at like 2AM and died in the most earliest/easiest round ever because for some reason I didn't see a zombie to my left.
Kosmic i think it'd be great if you could make the game screen a bit bigger and take more space of the screen in the setup to see the game better (as a suggestion you could make the top part smaller for example, great video though
Being too hard on yourself, 4 hours is nothing for a kaizo level, I'm impressed. I've seen players sink 25-80 hours into doing those. And while the level itself isn't the "hardest" you managed to beat it whereas hundreds of others still haven't. Awesome work.

Finding a cure for cancer is probably easier than beating a kaizo level
There's a saying about the internet: if you can find a sufficiently funny enough reason for its users (usually people are talking about 4chan's) to do so, they'll have crowdsourced the answer within a week. The same can be said of making problems that would be funny to watch others attempt to solve.

Honestly this guys skill is just on a completely different level. Its not until you try to replicate some of the things he or other elite level players do, that you realize just how far apart they are from the rest of us.
The fact that he even got it, even at 3 AM and after nearly 5 hours of attempts, is still pretty incredible. 99.96% of people can't even beat it in the first place. Dude's gonna be the next LilKirbs

I'm pretty sure that flying being the type used in pokemon was already a change from the orignal intent as bird type is an unused type in gen 1 pokemon. While air type would make more sense let's just be glad it's not bird type.

Normally I wouldn't recommend playing this level for how hard it is. However considering the fact that you achieve to beat it after some hours of attempts made me realize that you can beat whatever other level you want. So cheers Kosmical

It's bizarre knowing I'm somehow better at SMM2 than the great Kosmic. I understand completely that this is not in any way his game but he is so absolutely incredible at SMB1 that when I watch his runs it feels as though there is no possible way I could ever do anything video game related even in the realm of someone like him. It reminds me of my cousin, great at basketball but if you saw him throw a baseball you wouldn't even know he was athletic. No disrespect intended, Kosmic is still pretty darn good no doubt I just thought I'd share some thoughts.
