@@DraftProject Hi. At 18:31, 18:32, 18:33, your new bushing looks deformed! This is the bushing with the 4 parts blue poly, and 1 metal liner, right? Is it just my eyes, or does this bushing have some tensions after reinstall that cause it to become a little misshapen? As a DIYer, I like the ease of poly bush fitment, but am yet to discover how they make the car ride! Also, with poly bushes (and silicone grease), I'd have thought that the need to tighten up the bolts 'with the car on the ground' would have been less important than when using standard bushes. What is your idea on that, please? I enjoyed watching your video, thanks.
@@joaquinstabbington673 Sorry for the late response. The bushing at 18:31-18:33 was temporarily deformed due to the control arms being held down. It is completely normal and there is nothing to worry about. By the time you put the car back on the ground, the bushing will revert back to its original shape. For me, tightening the bolts with the car on the ground should be applied on both rubber and polyurethane bushings. on rubber bushings, the metal liner is molded into the bushing itself, so you need to tighten the bolts with car on the ground. This will lock the whole bushing (with the metal liner) in one position. Otherwise, when tightened while the car is on the air, it will cause a permanent tension and eventually might break the bushing. on polyurethane bushings, these are separate pieces instead of being molded into one piece which means that the metal liner can somehow adjust itself according to the position or angle of the control arms. But still, I recommend to tighten the bolts with the car on the ground because even though the metal liner is not molded into the bushing, tightening can still lock the metal liner in its bushing. With that in mind, it can cause the bushing to stretch in wrong position since the metal liner cannot move at all. Since it is hard to tighten the bolts while the car is on the ground, I demonstrated there that you can tighten the bolts while the car is on the air by jacking up the front control arm assembly. When you see that the bushings is in its normal position, you can now tighten it all the way. I hope this helps you and please consider subscribing to my channel. Thank you very much for watching.
the metal sleeves of poly bushings rotate within the polyurethane sleeves. Therefore the metal sleeves are to be lubricated while the control arm sockets where the bushings plug in should not be lubricated.
Hi, sorry for the late response. Unfortunately, I do not have access to it since my customer is the one who bought the polyurethane bushings. I'm sorry.
Boss ask lang po wala po kasing lumalabas na gas sa fuel injector ko🤔 all fuel lines are working naman sa injector no clogged naman, ano po kaya possible problem? thank you
Hi sir!

Unfortunately, the car wasn't mine so I could make a video about it. Perhaps in the future if possible. Here are some pros an cons of a polyurethane bushings. Pros: - Chemical resistant - Harder than rubber, but not necessarily mean that it is not comfortable in terms of driving experience. The only thing that might be uncomfortable is the polyurethane engine mount. But for suspension, it is a different story. - Durable compared to rubber and will last more. - Rigidity of the suspension is greatly improved. Thus, driving experience is better. Cons: - Expensive - Absorption of vibration is less compared to rubber due to its compound build and hardness. - In some cases, others have squeaking problems even when they are greased up properly. Thank you very much for your support!!
Cons are squeaking after driving a season, especially if your in the northeast USA. Pros are nice handling. Fix for sqeaking I’d disassemble and clean and lubricate bushing. Look around and you’ll see I’m right son

The pacing, camera shots/panning, vocal inflection, and even the background music are 100% spot on with "How it's Made".
Absolute top notch!

Sorry about that. I decided to put some outside to prevent any possible squeaking sounds or rust buildup into the control arm.
Really nice video love it thanks for that
