Hey thanks for this video!!!. The guy that had this truck before me spent like $3,000 trying to figure out why it would wouldn't crank after it warmed up so I finally come across this video that you put on here as far as 5.0 302 but I know it will probably be the same thing and I went out there and tried it unplugged mine and it cranked up after it warmed up that was my problem make me look like I was a real mechanic I told the boys that been working on it that had it before me that I fixed it with $12 part thanks bud
Thanks, your logical approach to the problem solving was refreshing. And I enjoyed your common sense approach to replacing old parts eventhough they were not the direct cause of the problem encountered,
There are 10 different things that could prevent an F-150 from starting but I never would have guessed a coolant temperature sensor would have anything to do with it or that it was related to fuel even if it came up on a code scanner. I hope more people see the video and just replace the part while the truck is still running.
Dude, you saved my life! That was EXACTLY the problem with my 89 Bronco that I've been fighting. Thanks to you and this video, i too can start my truck hot again.
Thank you Thank you! For two years I've been trying to figure out the problem. I've changed everything on the truck almost and nothing fixed it until now! I was about to pull the ECM off lol so I'm glad I came across your video😁
Thanks for making video, Been having problems with my 95 , pushed it home last night, getting ready to go out to try that, most everything one might think obvious been replaced, I'm disabled can't afford a garage to work on her. Thank you for more information. Hoping this works ! Toni
this problem i have been quesstioning since i bought my truck i havent even unplugged the sensor i just know in my heart that this is the problem dont even need to double check. thank you very much!.
Bro literally same lol I got straight up just now went started good cause it was cool. Drove down the road and back wouldn’t start, unplugged the sensor bam. Great video
Thank you!!!!!!💯💯 We've had 3 mechanics look at our truck and about 2k later it was only a $22 part is been a couple years finally fixed replaced the other one but missed this one!! Thank You!
All I can do was laugh at how simple the issue was. Had me googling in the store parking lot. I was already preparing to replace all the ignition components. Unplugged and started right by.
The mechanics couldn't figure out why they always had to prime my 1993 F-150 but it would run well until they shut it down and it cooled off. Then they'd have to prime it again (squirt some gas up the throttle body) to get it started. A new mechanic started working there and after a couple of days messing with the truck - he changed the throttle position sensor and now the truck starts the first time you turn the key - every time (so far, lol). They swore it never threw any codes on the obd reader, I wasn't there to see, but I know it started working right as soon as the TPS got changed, shrug.
don’t have any issue with my truck but i recently replaced my thermostat and tsu just in case. boy am i glad
2 years later you just saved me a lot of time. Minus the other videos I watched. Came to yours walked out and looked broke in two pieces.

What’s the name of the sensor?
