Hi, Shannon, thanks for this! I noticed you circle the same areas of interior cabins on deck 9, 10 and 11 as more desirable. However, it looks like there is a wall between those rooms and the elevators which makes it look like you have to walk all the way toward the front of the ship and then swing back around toward the elevators. Are the elevators easily accessible from lets say room 11452? Thanks!
I saw a video about the double wide balconies in Central Park and I went to my cruise booking and saw there was one more left so I called Royal and had them change me to it! I’m so excited about getting it at no extra cost. I got room 11629 for my cruise in May. I don’t mind being lower in Central Park . Great video!
Great video...very detailed. 👍👍 My question is, can you please tell me where the neighborhood inside balcony rooms are located? I don't have a cabin yet, because of their "guaranteed" selection process, but it says it's in the Neighborhood area.
Thank you for your great research! We are going on Symphony, cabin 6728. It is the last cabin in the aft side, behind Johnny Rockets and near the Aqua Theater. Should we be concerned about noise there?
You will probably have noise anytime the Aqua show is going on. But Royal does do a good job of soundproofing the rooms. The bigger concern is that it will be a far walk whenever you leave your stateroom. It will be annoying if you forget something and just need to “run” back. This happens to me a lot.
This video is so supper informative probably best out there. I m looking for information on the noise and or how quiet is room 561 desk 14 . I m concern about me and my 2 year old baby sleep vs noise. Being this is a central park room with balcony . At least during her mid day nap hr and her sleep time @ 8 pm . Can anyone give comments or review based on personal stay. Thanks . Or perhaps suggestion of better located room ?
Hi! Were booking on Symphony OTS for next year, and looking at deck 14 forward (14560 cabin) just past the elevators and parallel to "Puzzle break" and the Nursery. We DO NOT have kids tho, we just want to be near the Solarium. My question is, Is it noisy up there in that area with kids running around? We dont go to bed early, but do like to relax in our cabin often. Was just wondering if its a busy/noisy kids running around area. Thank you!
Hi, GREAT video! Thank you so much for your detailed video and time. I can't decide on which room to stay in. I'm looking at decks six, seven or eight. If we have to get off fast in the morning on the last day, I imagine one of these floors would allow us time to get off quickly without waiting for an elevator on a higher floor. I'm not sure which floor we exit the ship on debarkation day (maybe 5). I am looking at rooms near the aft elevator, but is it going to be too loud near the stairs / elevator or close to Dazzles night club on floor 8 (ex: Room 8276).Anyone ever mention being near a pubic bathroom and not liking it? I'm trying to figure out between Room 8276 near Central Park, more mid ship. On floor 6, rooms 6156 or 6148 forward look good or aft rooms like 6686 or 6678. On Deck 7, rooms 7148 or 7546 forward. These last two seem like good middle ground between Central Park and the Boardwalk, near the stairs with no bathroom, but far from aft activities, unfortunately. Motion sickness is not an issue. Any suggestions, please ?!
I never find rooms close to the elevators too loud. And also, the public restrooms are non-issues too. Not sure about a quick disembarkation (we take our time), but I believe it’s deck 4.
We are planning symphony of the seas next December. Can you tell me the best interior room floor and location for 2 adult seniors and one ocean view for family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 small children.
A lot of that depends on your preferences. For the family, I would say deck 14 near Adventure Ocean. As for the seniors, do they need an accessible room? What do they plan to do or spend most of their time on the ship.
How is deck 11? I thought being lower down deck 6-8 is closer to most of the action on the ship. The seniors are well Bodied and do not need accessible but less walking is ideal.
@@raptorsfangirl561 we liked being near Adventure Ocean since our son lives there. Otherwise, I like Deck 6 or 8. Whichever has a stateroom close to the elevators. As for the seniors, it really depends on what they want to be near.
9578 is closer to the elevators, so that would be my choice. However, Deck 8 is the same as Central Park and would be very convenient to go there, especially in the mornings.
Hi there.... I'm cruising with my teenage son in August... We have been allocated 4818.... I've worked on QE2 years ago... I never get sea sick... Myself and my son have been on many RC cruises... Symphony of the Seas is our first on this beauty... Any thoughts?
the video I was looking for! I just got my stateroom confirmed from Royal! It will be the 14668, which is just next to the lifts but my doubt is if it's not too noisy to be so close to elevators area! nice review! :)
Hi James, I just booked the same room and I have two young kids. How was your stay and do you recommend me getting a different room? Was it loud at all? Thank you
Do you know if the Aqua suite 1 bedroom on the 11th floor will be noisy? I am curious why these suites were still available and hope it’s not because there may be noise issues seeing as how we booked it less than 2 months from departure
That is an excellent location. If you have kids using Adventure Ocean, you are on the same side. It won't be noisy. Close to the elevators on a ship, is not like a hotel. You will see.
Hi - Thank you for this video - it was incredibly helpful! The ocean balcony rooms I can choose from are on deck 14 forward - I believe the category is 4D - these are the rooms allocated to the group I am booking with, but I can get another deck/area for an additional cost. I heard you say you really liked deck 14 and I think you were in a similar area- I have some concerns and would appreciate your feedback. The solarium would be above me and worried about chair movement noise - especially in the middle of the night when I'm led to believe the cleaning staff cleans/preps that area I noticed the nursery and adventure ocean are right by my room -- I don't want to hear crying babies, or screaming kids - Do you think I would hear that in my room? Thanks, Dean
No worries about noise from Adventure Ocean or nursery. I like Deck 14 because our son goes to AO alot. However, if you don't have a child going there, it's wouldn't be my first choice. As for deck chairs, I have never had that issue. Also don't think that would be much of a concern under the Solarium.
@@ShannonFord Thank you Shannon! I'll see what the price difference is for another deck, but if it is more, I'll likely opt for Deck 14 given there are no noise concerns.
@@ShannonFord I went to that website and it redirected me and then unless I pay to belong to the website it will not show me the photographs but there are photographs available so I was wondering if somebody is a member if they wouldn't mind sharing me those photographs

It’s waste a lot of time listening to a lot of stuff that I don’t need to listen to me personally, I mean if you have someone that is always cruising by themselves or one person that’s just cruising with their child, it’s way too much. I wish you would break it down so that they were like maybe I don’t know to 15 minute and actually doing like a virtual tour of the state room. I didn’t realize that it was just too busy.

@@itstonivega3754 that would be a boardwalk or Central Park balcony. In my experience, GTY are usually given Boardwalk balconies
These videos are awesome. Thank you so much for them. Your video helped us book an ultra spacious, which was the best vacation we have had as a family

Looking at the central park interior room, but a little concerned about noise...
I don’t think that’s an issue much in Central Park. Maybe try and get on a higher deck. It’s more of a concern on The Boardwalk
What do you think about deck 12. I just booked 12671
Deck 12 is good. closer to the pool decks and Windjammer. Personally, I focus more on being close to the stairs/elevator than the deck.
