Maybe you should look at more low rarity guides instead of just those ones then. Cause there's a lot of f2p guides. Especially low rarity CN ones. And its only been 2 days since EN ch8 launch so uh, 🤡

Honestly, surtr is simply so overpowered and her skill health boost and survival mechanic can give her a fixed window for damage which is just too good to pass up. But you will expend so much more dp because no matter how much healing you sic on her it won't be enough unlike Kyo here who only needed to deploy the core dps guardmiya twice or so. That being said, I had a basically (almost) full 6* team and just brute forced my way through the ignite mechanic.
Kyo‘s guides carried me so hard. I started when the forget me not banner started and finished JT8-3 yesterday. Would recommend EVERY guide this man makes.
This hell of stage whitout Nightingale? I used all my ressources, just to level her up from E0 Lv.1 to E2 Lv.20 to beat this stage and you want to tell me I didn't needed to?! Thank you still for figuring out a strategy with those low-star units, you are truly the master of arknights, while we are just humble servants with small monkee brain (at least me)

Ptilopsis in gravel spot and saria in spot's spot and you can brute force the meteor strike. U can occasionally put a unit in front of them to tank a few hit.

Now since spectre alter has released. She can tank all of the pyro waves since even of she dies, she doesn't die. Otherwise you can borrow a nightingale. Each one of her bird cage can hold an entire wave. If you get Lumen and Phantom. Then this stage is a cakewalk. But even without these niche operators Kyo's strategy making is mind-blowing 🔥
Kuddos to you Kyo. Well done! I get your feeling when you cleared it. It really makes you feel that you are fighting A BOSS. When I killed Talulah for the 2nd time, and after the meteorite wave, she wakes up again (and I thought ''Pls no, OMG you do not have a third life, do you''?) and immediately she FINALLY died. HUGE RELIEF!!!!! XD I also cleared it by myself but had to use only one 6-star (Surtr) and my Ptilopsis 2nd skill saved my squad from the meteorite waves. Still, this boss stage made me realize that it is so important to know the mechanics of the stage. It is hard also even with 6 stars.

I spent 2 days running this level; I didn't even bother to care anymore about practice drills or looking for a Nightingale support and I barely made it with Surtr, Specter, Angelina and Amiya. My god you absolute madlad you did it!
I had NG e2 from like the launch of the game. I facerolled the stage on 2 stars second try and it took about half an hour to figure out 3 star clear - mainly because i didnt want to bother with too many fastredeploys. What i want to say is that my girl NG really shines here!

I just started AK this year so I had a lot of under-leveled ops and my lazy ass who couldn't read mechanics, I didn't even know that the last 2 ops deployed would be the ones to explode. I still got by until the rain of fire and the boss' 2nd phase and everyone was on cooldown. I didn't even bother trying again and just watched your guide lmao! I'm maining Thorns so it was a looot easier. Having Shu and Virtuosa even w/ only their 2nd skills made it easier as well. I couldn't stall since Thorns was killing the boss too early so I would just put Specter first then Amiya, then if Amiya dies, back to Specter. Struggled for dp at first since I only had Project Reid as my fast-redeploy and I sucked at using Jaye so I figured I'd just not use Jaye and instead bring both Yato and Gravel at lvl 1 since I'd just sacrifice them anyway. Then since I was still having delays in redeploying, I borrowed a Phantom (who I just recently saw from a showcase w/ Zuo Le) and tested if his phantom would be targeted as well - it would! I had an easy time after practicing! The challenge mode didn't make a difference cause again, the boss would die early. Couldn't even get to the summons part. XD Thank you, again! Wouldn't have done it without this guide! ^^
tbh there are already lots of no-nightingale strats out there if you just search lmao. theres even a 4 star 8 ops clear lmao. the premise is similar to this: arts guards to stall and dps talulah, ranged guard at bottom and good defender(cuora is usable) at top. but instead of using 4 other fast redeploys/helidrops to reduce pressure for medics, instead uses 3 decent medics: 1 resist medic(resist reduces the ignite, whisperain is a godsent here)(can be switched for another really good single target medic), 1 aoe, 1 really good single target medic. the resist medic is placed above myrtle at the start of the game.
I don’t think I’ve seen a guide with nightingale... what makes her so good? Is Taluhla able to set fire to the multiple drones or are they just really good at healing?
I don't have Nightingale and cleared both normal and challenge mode just fine She's not that necessary to clear this stage, people just exaggerated. Sure her talent helps a lot, but there are other ways like using fast redeploy to tank

fun fact: matoimaru is a BEAST in this level. she can tank a whole fireball phase with no help whatsoever due to her massive health pool and regen skill (plus she can revive so there's that), but she's also amazing at stalling talulah. Just couple her with 1 or 2 healer, get someone like thorn to deal the big damage and it's gg

I failed because Saria just could not keep pushing on. With some 1 block stallers, Thorns killed every bear that ran through exist that bastard that needed 2 block in order to be stalled. All my two blockers are dead on a timer. I am just going to wait until the Skadi X Module to do this again.

Nightingale makes the stage a lot easier
It's possible without her, but it will take you ages tp figure out a proper strategy. Nightingale makes this stage much easier
you can use Ptilopsis instead of Nightingale, you just have to time the skill a bit
