Do you guys prefer the Audi RS3 8P or the new shape 8V? I prefer the 8P as it feels like more of a drivers car but prefer the sound of the newer RS3s! So maybe a new exhaust on this one to go along side the secondary decats??? Let me know!
The tone from the 8p sounds bit more deeper then the 8v well that has the aluminium block but does sound really nice .. main decat would be next thing and map to suit
I prefer the 8p for the little details and efforts they put into that model...like heated rear seats..rear arm rest...the long pedals...rear window blinds...rs3 embossed on the seats....rs gear lever....bucket seats...i dont think they have none of these things on the 8v....which is a shame as they make the car feel a litte more special...also the 8p is a very rare sight on the uk roads.
Nice to see this as I've had an 8P RS3 for 4 months and so far had to spend nothing apart from rear springs as one had snapped. Paid £20k exactly but its 516bhp so already tuned to how I would want it (at a minimum) - Currently coming up to 60k miles and with the performance the running costs are not too bad.
Nice motor mate. I have a 8p myself. I have been looking for a high spec 2016 S3 on the market. But I have also been paying attention to the prices of the 8p's, and over the last year they have been increasing in price like you said. They good cars and they have aged really well in my opinion. You would not think that it is 11 year old shape car.
I’m getting a 8P RS3 next February for my third car at 20 years old, my insurance will only be £890 for the year through Admiral. Can’t believe you’re paying £1680 a year!
The pricing in this video is correct for Brembo as of the time at recording. Prices are located on euro car parts. Fitting them obviously costs extra but I can do brakes myself
@@jamesonwatches oh really? i have only seen rear discs listed for sale on euro car parts. i purchased some OEM discs for my 8p recently at a cost of £450.
i live in italy, here that RS3 woud be like 1.300€ ony in circulation taxes per year, plus another €1000 for change of ownership and about 1500 warranty, not talking about fuel at €1.90 per liter.... Absolute nightmare, that's why i bought a Diesel Kia Stinger LOL, with AVG salary in the country being €1500 per month, and i get a lot less than that!
Hi mate, yes I do daily this. It’s not horrendous but obviously there are better cars! I live in York so most things are a 5-6 mile drive so it’s not too bad but living In a bigger city with worse traffic may cause financial problems 😂
JLC TV just traded in for a 67 plate RS3 and the figures do say 30mpg but you can never really trust them, better to hear from someone who actually has one! Also less than £20k for that RS3 is a steal the red usually fades but your one looks like new.
Nothing wrong with Bradford as a city, just a lot of dodgy cars come from there unfortunately. The worst reviewed dealership is in Bradford where the stigmatism came from as they were known for extremely poor condition and clocked cars even today!
But it was from Bradford!! 2.47 Hahaha you saved alot of headache. Myself and everyone who ever bought a car from Bradford says the same thing. Never again and dont do it. Nice car pal

Yeah I’m thinking backbox as I want to make sure it can pass an MOT

@@lenep9985 totally agree! I love how rare this model is especially with all the packs it has on it! Definitely going up in value!

Totally agree mate! Definitely do not “upgrade” to an S3! Such a boring car to drive in comparison

£1380 for the year but I have 3 points on my license also
i think you better revisit the cost of the front discs or you'll be in for a shock when you come to replace them!

You can try Ferodo premiers pads on the front @ £45 work well & R90 compliance.

Heard people do oil changes on these every 3-5k
Yeh a lot of people do but its not that necessary. Just good practice to keep it fresh!
Service it yearly bud. Every 10k/year. Shouldn’t be too expensive with a good Audi specialist 👍🏼
Do you daily this? Im looking to buy a s3 saloon as daily but im kinda scared of the monthly price for these kinda cars

I just traded in my 2018 S3 and I was driving 60 miles a day and was averaging 30mpg and about a tank a week. Hope this helps a bit.
What did you trade it in for? And I went for a merc c class 220d coupe 2019
@@weg5856 30mpg aint bad! Think I do about 40 miles per day with a bit of town traffic and manage 25-28mpg

no way the brakes was that much cheap 3 year ago. My friend changed the brakes on his audi rs3 4-5 years ago for 1600 pound plus fit.
Yeah inflation has gone mad mate!
Look at the fuel prices now 😂
23 yr old with rs3 must be making a killing 😂
