Thanks Brother! I really like them a lot. I can understand why you would want another DR650! Hope you are doing well out there with all of the rain and snow in CA. Cheers!
Nice! I also went with the TST LEDs all around, including the fender eliminator kit-- I love it. Last week I also put the Cyclops LED H4 Ultra bulb in--- such a game changer from the stock lighting.
Thank you for the DR650 upgrade video, very well done, and nice to see you and Sammy. What a nice upgrade to the DR650 they look bright and much less vulnerable. My DR650 still has the broken lens taped up from the ride OBI-WAN and I went on when I dropped the bike.
Thanks VW! I am glad you enjoyed it! I had a lot more to post when I did the rear but due to the mods I have already done, it was going to be a brutally long video (snoozer). They new signals are very bright and I found out the hard way that you do not look at them close up. (big blue spot anyone?) I had one of my signals taped up also and figured it was time for an upgrade. Always great to hear from you! Cheers!
I appreciate the kind words Rob! I like their appearance and their performance. They only save a couple of pounds but as you said, any reduction in weight is a good thing! Cheers!
Getting that beast ready for March! They definitely look better. I have been running no turn signals on the front of the V-strom for about 6 months now but I fixed it with a new bike 😁
HaHa! Yeah, the beast is ready for March for sure! I really like the new turn signals. A new bike is an interesting strategy for replacement of turn signals! I guess we will find out today which bike you bought to replace them! Cheers!
@@TheBeardedGrump Nah, I doubt that will happen. I was in the same situation being a DR650 centric channel and bought the V-Strom 1050 and didn't lose any. You have great content and the new bike will fit in fine.
Rick! Thanks Bro! I just love modding the DR650. I am glad you liked the tutorial. My production assistant Sam is a handsome fella for sure! He is sweet as can be. Glad you liked the OBI hat also. He got a kick out of it. Hope you are not snowed in over there in CA. Cheers Bro!

Congratulations on your DR650! What a great find! Thanks for the kind words and glad my channel is a help. The DR is a lot of fun to mod and build and the payoff is huge. I can tell you that the largest impact mod I have done is the suspension upgrades. If you have any questions, please comment and let me know ! Cheers!
That's absolutely pretty cool and awesome checking up your signal lights bro. It's definitely more advantage have basic skill fixing it. Keep it up and more vidz to come brother.
Another great video DOC. I did the full LED conversion two yrs ago. TST Industries is genius, plug and play with the exception of adjusting the rear break pedal.. I went with a different set of signals and it's amazing how modernized this simple change makes on the DR look.
Thank You Jon! TST Industries is an amazing source for upgrades for many different bikes. I neglected to mention that a full LED conversion also reduces the power draw which keeps the battery happy and allows for accessories to be plugged in. Spot on about how much more modern the Mighty DR650 looks with these simple modifications. Cheers Bro!
This was a great idea William. Having them smaller and in the same time LED it is perfect. Today they are mostly white and I believe that they look just nice. I also had many bikes with the orange ones and to be honest it was ugly. :) Got my like. Keep it up bro.
Thanks Gregor! I have noticed that on the new bikes they signals are white with the colored LEDs in them. I believe this upgrade adds a lot more safety and resistance to damage of the signals. Hope you are doing great!!! Cheers!
They work really well and tuck up against the side of the bike quite nicely. I loaded up the bike with panniers and a top bag and the turn signals were in the perfect spot to not be obstructed by the bags. So far, so good. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey Calvin! It was not as bad to do as I thought it would be. I believe it was due to the kit being set up to be plug and play. Which one did you end up using?
@@doc650adventures mine didn’t have any plugs. I had to splice them in. Didn’t know what wire to put where and you know leds have to go a certain way. Got it figured out eventually though. What I get for trying to cheap out. 😁 Just cheap china stuff from amazon.
Hey There! Thanks for watching! The turn signals are from TST Industries. I really like them a bunch. tstindustries.com/tst-led-front-or-rear-pod-turn-signal-bundle-suzuki-dr650.html Cheers!
@@PsychoSainten I used the wiring harness (adapter that came with the kit) they plugged right in! The hardest part was finding the correct wires to plug into. It is not that difficult, you just have to trace the stock wires from the turn signals to the connections and swap in the new harness. The turn signals are very bright. I also went ahead and installed the TST Industries flasher relay to get the pulse of flash correct. Hope this helps! Cheers!
Thanks for the detailed video on these lights. I've ordered a set of the TST echos for my DR as well. I wonder, since the lights are so small, are the Acerbis relocation brackets aren't really necessary? It seems like there would be no contact with the tank in the stock position.
My pleasure David! They are great turn signals for sure. You will not need relocation brackets with the 5.3 liter Acerbis tank. Another advantage with the TST signals is they are small and are not as subject to damage when dropping the DR. Cheers Buddy!
The whole system is awesome! Still going strong even after a few drops! The rack is one I found on Amazon which is made from steel and a bit cheaper that some of the other ones out there. Hope you are doing great!
