How to use the VEED Teleprompter Software.
Follow the link to Veed's free online teleprompter and select Launch FREE Teleprompter.
Select Webcam Only or Audio Only to launch the Teleprompter window.
Paste your script or notes into the teleprompter, then adjust your speed and size settings at the bottom of the grey window.
Click and drag the teleprompter window to where you want it to be on screen - I recommend placing it in the top, middle area of the screen right underneath your webcam - this will make it look like you are still looking directly into the camera lens.
You can then press record to start filming your video.
When you’ve finished, press Stop and Veed will render your recording. You can edit your footage by selecting Edit Video to launch the Veed Video editor.
Use the split and trim tools to remove any silence or mistakes in your recording. You can also use Veed to Add Text, Subtitles, Music and much more.
When you are finished editing, select Export, then Export Video. Then on the next page you can then download your video as an MP4.

This app/site kinda saved my life. I only wish that when you are recording, you have the function to display yourself fully on camera, then show a slide, with yourself in the corner. If you want to show slides, you will be displayed but on a tiny window. I used the theme option to make myself appear larger than the small window camera.

good idea... but Ryan... please clarify this for me.... it's simply not possible to have your eyeline directly into the camera if you are reading text that is below the camera... this would work only if your camera was recording from the middle of your screen..... not from a webcam mounted on top of PC.. or laptop with webcam at top.... as a loom and dubb user.. I like the idea of veed... great looking UI etc. ... Ryan can you show us how to do this...

Very helpful video. I film my videos with my phone and use my laptop just for editing and livestreaming. I really like filming with my phone and I already purchased my editing software and would very much like to continue with it. So do I have to record in order to use the teleprompter or can I have it working on my laptop while filming with my phone? I do have a way to have everything be properly lined up for direct eye contact.

Nice online teleprompter but...how to hide url address bar and browser tabs in Firefox?
