Hallelujah! Finally a doctor who acknowledges that it is God who created the human body! I had to do a happy praise dance and shout when I heard you say God put it there! Amen! To God be the glory!
The whole first part of the video was showing that common solution didnt pan out in studies and that only the Paleolithic Ketogentic Diet (PKD) has shown improvement in the tight junctions. It's also not a cure, just a study showing it is actually something that tightens the loose junctions which should help with many conditions.
I've seen a lot of explanations of this. I've heard it also called hyper-permeability of the intestinal lining. This is by far the best explanation I have seen. Her use of visuals is amazing.
this is super helpful and finally it makes complete sense as to why they are linked to autoimmune diseases. Thank you for all the videos you share on your channel!
Great talk for medical professionals & any of us who want to know the science behind big gutt problems. I think it's part 1, the problem. Waiting on pr 2 help ahead.
I am also looking for the Part 2. This first 15 minutes was great. I love the “geeky” science and want to understand how PKD restores the integrity of the intestinal barrier.
Wow! You are a great MD. Wish all my former MDs had the same knowledge as you. They just threw pharmaceuticals at me; fast forward, nine years later and I’m still sick. Blood pressure still high and gallstones got bigger. All from my severe leaky gut, which also caused histamine intolerance and oxylate sensitivities. It’s to a point I got tired of going to many MDs that I gave up seeing them. Wish my health insurance would cover holistic doctors.
Haha, thanks for calling it what it is in your video--I always felt kinda' silly saying leaky gut. Some people just don't take it seriously. Also, when one is searching for good quality info about a subject, it helps to call it by its proper name in the search! Excellent video--I love the visuals/format. It helped my understanding of intestinal permeability!
I have come to terms with having to do my own research & consuming as much knowledge as I can to fix my stomach. Thank you for this video...you might have saved me from making things worse actually. I'm now going to try the PKD
I was shitting blood for half a year and was then diagnosed with chrones, then I water fasted for 6 days and followed the gundry diet for only 1 month and a followup showed no more chrones. I can only say that's my story and it doesn't mean it'll work for you, but it did for me...
I began eating the Paleolithic ketogenic diet for one week and have already noticed a big difference in health. Strict ketogenic eating for 6 month got me prepared for the next level of healing. RA is on its way out! Rebuilding the immune system “one ketone at a time”. Thank you for your work. ❤️
I've been diagnosed with Gerd, 3 ulcers, and a hiadal hernia. I am coming to your video in desperation. Doctors will not listen to me for 3 years. They measure my ulcers, give me protonix and send me out the door. I'm anemic and struggle with my menstrual cycle. It seems to exacerbate all of my stomach issues every month. I die every single month. I cant hold anything down, I'm in excruciating pain for sometimes weeks. And then I get a week of relief and then by that time 3 weeks has gone by and it's time to do it all over again..... I gave up on doctors 2 years ago. I just stay hone and ride it out now.. but each month I feel like I'm going to die.
I feel like I was once blind, but now I can see because of the Good Doctor. I could feel the effects of poor digestion and complications for so long. And now I can begin to understand the how’s and why’s thanks to the Good Doctor 👩⚕️ taking the time and effort for people hurting like me. I have recently completed two 5 day fasts and I am amazed how my digestion has improved. Nevertheless I feel I still have a long way to go before I can rest. Good luck to all those sailing on Captain Dr. Boz’s ship of Hope.
Good Lord!!! By now, we ought to know that there are a number of specific "foods" and groups of foods that cause these issues. One report I read indicates that, in America, we eat over 200lbs of added sugar every year. Why is this, still, an issue? When I found out that breads, grains, sugar carbs, corn, beans, fruit overindulgence and fiber were killing my digestive system, I eliminated them. I'm no longer snacking, and I've lost 70lbs. Here's my rule: if you're eating more of processed foods than those closer to their natural state, you'll end up a subject of a video like this one. You can't convince me that a cookie or a cupcake is food. It's edible, but it provides no nutritional yield compared to the energy and water expended to digest it. There are industries tempting you with sweet this and food channel that. Think critically about that. You're outnumbered but you can win if you plan to win. That's all folks.
After weeks of researching PKD papers, translating from Hungarian to English and listening to every podcast and youtube that Zsophia clemens is in, here are some basics of PKD. There is so much more but time is limited. Plus, its complicated (some of what she says doesnt make sense to me) when you can't get the full protocol and try to piece meal all that she has said (or written). Everything below I heard Dr Clemens say and made the below notes. The main point Paleo medicina (Zsophia Clemens out of Hungary -not Poland) wants to make is you must first fix your gut! Cure will not happen unless your gut has been fixed. The (PKD) diet works by normalizing gut permeability. The typical/classical Keto diet goal is ketosis at any cost (such as, eating a lot of keto junk like seed oils and nut butters and keto snacks; this type of keto diet does NOT heal your gut. PKD goal is healing gut with ketosis fueled by only meat and organs (AFTER you've healed ur gut, you can add in some plant foods that they (Paleo medicina) have okayed like cabbage, brocolli, and i think carrot). You must have glucose 80 or below. You must have ketones at 2.0 it doesn’t make matter better to have high ketone levels such as 3.5 or 4.0 and it is not “real” ketosis to have ketones below 2.0. Zsophia says: “People who are not ill can go in and out of ketosis but cancer and autoimmune patients cannot and must stay in ketosis everyday for years. Staying in ketosis at all times normalizes leaky gut. This is what gives you the cure." Zsophia gives the example: 155lb person should eat 55 grams (up to 70 is okay but no more) of protein. Too much protein turns into glucose and takes you out of "therapeutic" ketosis (around 2.0). If lower, You will then be running on glucose instead of fats and ketones. You will not get well. Running your body on glucose gives you 2.5 less energy than running your body on ketones and fat. The protein requirements of PKD are low compared to general protein recommendations because excess protein overloads the systems in the body which then it has extend energy to get rid of the protein. PKD diet for sick people; absolutely no dairy ever because dairy lowers your iron, minerals and electrolytes, also, no eggs in the beginning (I think shes saying not for the first 6 months) because some people have an allergy to them. Honey and certain plants are allowed after you are healed up to as long as you are still in 2.0 ketosis daily. Uric Acid is NOT a problem on the PDK diet. For many (but not all) Uric acid will increase when u start the diet there will be a transition. Ketones and uric acid are competing to be realized but eventually it normalizes. In short, eventually w/in a month or so, Uric acid goes back to normal. PKD is not associated with any kidney stones….Zsophia”. There observation show, If you get kidney stones you already had them and PKD releases them. There is about 100 grams of protein in a pound of red meat. So in terms of weight of meat, the ratio of meat to fat is 100g meat to 35g fat. So roughly 3:1 ration meat to fat in weight (apprx 85/15). since meat contains both proteins and fat, one has to take into account that fat content in the 2:1 fat to protein ratio. I have heard Dr. Clemens saying that as a rule of thumb, one can add 35 grams of pure animal fat for every 100 grams of meat. Elsewhere she mentions we need to be carefull not overeating proteins as the excess is a burden on the system. A typical 70kg person needs somewhere between 50 and 60 grams of proteins a day (as building blocks, not energy source). She also says eating twice a day is the best and believes we should not be fasting since we need the nutrition from daily food intake. We therefore can go 2 meals a day of 226g of meat (6 ounces) each to which we add 79g of animal fat. I dont think there will be a part 2 from Dr Boz because their keto diets are very different; and PKD wouldnt go over well in the West (big pharma). although, I'd love to see Dr Boz get an interview with Dr Clemens. The brilliance of Dr Boz would know how to ask the deep questions which is well needed....since its so difficult to figure out PKD.
So you are saying a person is supposed to live on 12 ounces a meat a day? I can't maintain my weight at 1.5 pounds a day! And that is grass fed beef. I sure couldn't maintain it on 12 ounces. And I am already underweight. The fat content in the beef I eat is 15% fat.
Thanks for sharing what Hungarian PhD research founder & head researcher Dr Zsophia Clemens who’s proven the PKD works and said: “it resolves MOST autoimmune disorders including epilepsy” I needed to remember the strictness stated here. Cheers to us all growing, healing.

Please go learn about Rockafeller medicine. Holistic, chiropractic and those who understand nutrition (those w dubious degrees) are the most knowledgeable. An MD is the last place I would get help for anything other than broken bones.
Perhaps as you say, that "nothing helps with this condition", is simply because you are looking only at pharmaceutical "solutions". They are rarely truly solutions but rather symptomatic suppressors, is that not true? L-glutamine and zinc are reported to be highly effective and helped me tremendously with my leaky gut (I have no problem with the simplistic expression). It is no wonder that your proposed diet has been shown, as you said, to be helpful - dietary and nutritional solutions are almost always the best answer. I have seen the medical industry slowly shifting toward this reality in many ways over the past 50 years or so. The problem is that it has taken much that long and a lot of needless suffering has occurred in the mean time. However I do enjoy your videos so thank you.
Thanks for the great informative short video! How do I know for sure that THIS is my problem? When I read the symptoms to "leaky gut" it seemed to match what I am experiencing... it THAT enough? Is there a test? I'm going in for an "upper gi", will that reveal any problems?
The Paleolithic Ketogenic Diet (PKD)!! Differing from the standard ketogenic diet, this version serves no dairy, no fruit, no vegetable or seed oils, and no supplements. Instead, patients eat animal fat and specific meat, all the time. Meats on the menu include lots of organ meat, sausage, and even hard-salami. Ok, I love sausages. Thanks, doc!
So I assume no dairy on the PKD? It would be nice to see what people do eat on a PKD.... it sounds carnivore... but I imagine it's broader than that. If there are some veggies allowed which ones and why? thanks
The PKD diet is very restrictive and very hard to follow I'd reckon. I wouldn't be able to keep to it. I have UC and have been messing around with diet for a few years. A low carb way of eating is definitely great for UC and works. I do eat a bit of fruit as to get Vit C. But try to keep it low as I can. Mostly sticking to a few berries, pawpaw and pineapple. Pineapple having Bromelain a good anti-inflammatory. I loved your video, thank you. helps us ordinary folk to understand it better. Is there another part to this as I'd love to know more.?
I just heard you on Radio, regarding fasting for 24 hours, for improving gut. Now I am vegan and do 24 fasting twice a week, but unfortunately I have lost a lot of weight.(5ft 5ins = 88 Lbs) I started fasting to improve my health as my parents have diabetes, kidney diseases and heart issues. My father passed away. Can you give me some tips how to do correct fasting as a vegan. If possible.
Dr. Boz are you familiar with the work of Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride and the Gut and Psychology Syndrome diet (GAPS diet) Or Dr. Sidney V. Haas and the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)?
I worked with Zsofia Clemens. It was very difficult to work with someone overseas. I think Dr. Boz's idea of having a community and tracking your progress on a continuum is much more helpful. I would only recommend Paleomedicina if you are failing with Dr. Boz's protocol.
Dr Boz, when you described what foods this diet excludes, it sounds like you're describing a carnivore diet. Csn you explain the difference between the PKD and a carnivore diet?
Dr. Boz, we want to know the cure! knowing what is happening is great but we need to know the steps in the cure. The next video is the 8 rules with Keto. Is this the cure or is it just telling about the Keto rules?
Hey doc, hey doc, I have something called anomic aphasasia as I guess a lot of people do, so it's easier to say leaky gut. Intestinal permeability desease actully means leaky gut. Actually I'm sure most doctors in the world find a Latin name for it, or maybe even a Greek name.
So, I can't digest beef and egg. Right now I can only eat chicken and fish (including seafoods). And you said no vegetables and fruit. What would you recommend?
Excellent article. I prefer this format, tightly focused on a key topic with more in depth science . Thank you for what you are doing for us, "One Keto at a time".
The slides are too low into the frame. The bottom of the slide does not show, and the top of your slide has a black void. Will all broadcasts have this problem?
Can leaky gut cause dry eye? Or the inflammation that causes dry eye. I had c difficulty 2x and then a parasite I picked up in Romania and ever since I have had major gut problems. I think its really starting take over my body.
Dr Boz, can you tell me if I fix my Intestinal Permeability will my food sensitivities go away? Or will I be always stuck with them? I am reacting to so many foods its hard to get enough calories. Main calories are coming from 1.5 pounds of grass fed beef a day (plus a little organic produce for extra potassium or I get constipated) - and I am underweight. I can't eat more beef. Totally stuffed from 1.5 pounds. I have celiac plus a bad corn allergy (react to airborne). Grain free since july 2019. Dairy & egg free since November 2020. I would like to hopefully get a few foods back, like the banana? Do you know?
Just watched Dr Steven Gundry on Tom Bilyeu's channel and found his talk about Lectins and their negative effect on the gut lining very compelling. Wonder if Dr Boz has an opinion about his work? Thanks, Rich
Very informative. Thx. Unfortunately, that's probably me already. Would Poop-therapy or Carnivorous diet - (elimination diet ) help the situation ? Maybe the elimination diet would give the gut a rest.
Great video - shared it with my coeliac spouse - his doc cant do the PEG testing and we can’t find a home test kit in Canada. Do you (or anyone else here) know where we can order it (other than the UK where it seems to be available)?
Dr Boz I really need you to help me get healthy I’m in Florida it I’m willing to come to you haven’t been diagnosed with anything because I won’t go to doctor I’m 55 female because he bothers me mammograms colonoscopy etc…I started keto a week ago….or can you recommend anyone in Florida I’ll travel
You should take my online course … it ~$300 … cheaper than any doctor visit … and it will tee you up for success. I insist that all my patients take the course before I allow them into my practice …
Hallelujah! Finally a doctor who acknowledges that it is God who created the human body! I had to do a happy praise dance and shout when I heard you say God put it there! Amen! To God be the glory!

Wow! What a fantastic video. I know it's old but I just came across it this morning. Thank you!
I heard bone broth helps leaky gut to heal. I have to say, I feel better within 24 hours of drinking/eating this yummy homemade soup.
I did notice improvement after taking bone broth on a daily basis. It’s great! 🙌🏼
I will give that a try

You should know our kids love watching. They have asked for "Leaky Gut" for days. Teaching the next generation. :)
Amen!
Dr. Boz, have you cured your own leaky gut. Please post your test showing that you cured your leaky gut.
Are there any tests for gut permeability? The title says "Stop the Leaking", implying treatment will be suggested. What's the treatment for this?
Dear Dr. Boz,
Do you perform PEG 400 to test for intestinal permeability? Thank you for all that you do!
Is there any cure?
Where can I find part 2?
I just heard you on Radio, regarding fasting for 24 hours, for improving gut. Now I am vegan and do 24 fasting twice a week, but unfortunately I have lost a lot of weight.(5ft 5ins = 88 Lbs) I started fasting to improve my health as my parents have diabetes, kidney diseases and heart issues. My father passed away. Can you give me some tips how to do correct fasting as a vegan. If possible.
Mode Papu - eat the animal fats .. the science is beyond what can be communicated this way. But the answer is ANIMAL FAT.
Fasting the quickest way to health
Leaky gut: vaccines, WiFi, ibuprofen, GMO corn
Perry Pierce so mostly man made things..
Content starts after min 4:30. Before that, it’s mainly clarifying it’s not called “leaky gut” 👍🏼
Dr. Boz are you familiar with the work of Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride and the Gut and Psychology Syndrome diet (GAPS diet) Or Dr. Sidney V. Haas and the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)?
Like this format!
It's a carnivore diet with fat to protein ratio of 2 to 1 in grams. They use beef, fat and organs thats it.
Great explanation good info
Dr. Boz, we want to know the cure! knowing what is happening is great but we need to know the steps in the cure. The next video is the 8 rules with Keto. Is this the cure or is it just telling about the Keto rules?
This video never told us how to fix it. That is why I watched it to find out how to fix it. Disappointing.
Fantastic explanation. Thank you
cure it? where in video?
Hey doc, hey doc, I have something called anomic aphasasia as I guess a lot of people do, so it's easier to say leaky gut. Intestinal permeability desease actully means leaky gut. Actually I'm sure most doctors in the world find a Latin name for it, or maybe even a Greek name.
Is a strict carnivore diet as good as a pkd diet for healing leaky gut
So, I can't digest beef and egg. Right now I can only eat chicken and fish (including seafoods). And you said no vegetables and fruit. What would you recommend?
Excellent article. I prefer this format, tightly focused on a key topic with more in depth science . Thank you for what you are doing for us, "One Keto at a time".
Paleo man didn't have access to fruit and vegetables? I doubt that
Great info - now hoping to find out how your words merge into diverticulitis and diverticulosis as we age and possible treatment plans to heal🤓🤓🤓
I'm interested in this as well. After watching, I don't know I need to eat to help myself.
Explanation but no help.
Carbs, Sugar, Lactose, Gluten is THE problem to leaky gut.
The slides are too low into the frame. The bottom of the slide does not show, and the top of your slide has a black void. Will all broadcasts have this problem?
More in depth help on how to turn this around please.
Can leaky gut cause dry eye? Or the inflammation that causes dry eye. I had c difficulty 2x and then a parasite I picked up in Romania and ever since I have had major gut problems. I think its really starting take over my body.
Oh my gosh I have that too I have to keep eye drops on me 24/7 and mornings are the worst I feel like my eyeballs will rip if I blink
Where might we find info on the PKD?
It is fixable … but takes a long time. And you must be strict. Watch Zsophia Clemens. She’s my fav
I have sunis problem for over fifteen years now asked my doctor if I have leaky gut he is saying nothing name leaky gut
Is the ending of this video cut off? or what just happened?
But I’m a little miffed as to why the PKD diet wasn’t explained more... no fruits, no vegetables.. what is allowed then?
And how do you fix it? 🤔
Just watched Dr Steven Gundry on Tom Bilyeu's channel and found his talk about Lectins and their negative effect on the gut lining very compelling. Wonder if Dr Boz has an opinion about his work? Thanks, Rich
Love dr Gundry!!!
He has been debunked many times. Another reductionist.
Where do we go from here ? Will start PDK diet ASAP but want to know how long what’s next
So, how do we heal barrets esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis, gastrtis that causes systemic resistant high blood pressure?
This is great info but PDK is basically a very effective band aid but maybe not a permanent solution?
Can you explain why severe leaky gut causes hypertension? Oxalates hurts my gut more too.
Very informative. Thx. Unfortunately, that's probably me already. Would Poop-therapy or Carnivorous diet - (elimination diet ) help the situation ? Maybe the elimination diet would give the gut a rest.
I hear so much about polyphenols for that. But most of those come in berries. Are polyphenols effective or are those fake news, so to speak?
So how to cure it?
Great video - shared it with my coeliac spouse - his doc cant do the PEG testing and we can’t find a home test kit in Canada. Do you (or anyone else here) know where we can order it (other than the UK where it seems to be available)?
Will this fix my
Seborrheic dermatitis and is this dangerous at all? Will it be long term and would it make me bald?
Where can I find out more about how to do PKD?
Dr Boz I really need you to help me get healthy I’m in Florida it I’m willing to come to you haven’t been diagnosed with anything because I won’t go to doctor I’m 55 female because he bothers me mammograms colonoscopy etc…I started keto a week ago….or can you recommend anyone in Florida I’ll travel
You should take my online course … it ~$300 … cheaper than any doctor visit … and it will tee you up for success. I insist that all my patients take the course before I allow them into my practice …

By the way … I’m moving to Tampa
After seeing every Dr in town it was a Chinese Dr of Traditional Chinese Medicine who cured me. They have many answers.
Did i miss the treatment part or it's not mentioned?
Some of us need help to heal
She mentioned the only treatment so far was a PKD diet.
The title os this video is misleading, I thought you new how to cure leaky gut , I was very desipointed with the video.
