    I love this brush so much. One thing I’d recommend is using the brush like you would a round brush during a regular blow out, so making sure there’s tension by twisting it so those waves at the root straight out, not so much passing it though. Gets it super silky that way ☺️👍🏽

      I definitely should have used more tension! Thank you 💓💓

    I’m tempted I can’t lie, havent straightened my hair in almost 4 years 😬. I would maybe try on wetter hair tho to get the roots straight. As you let them dry curly they’ll take more heat and effort to get them straight. It would probably take less overall time too! X

    Ah I love how your hair came out ! And I like that your ends actually held curl/swoop , my hair won't stay and flattens out after a while

    Your hair came out super pretty! That brush is my baby and all I use to straighten my hair. It does take some getting used to to be able to get a good grip of your roots, but you will definitely get it!

    Hey Yalina, I have the same curl pattern and hair texture as you (I think) and I bought this Revlon brush in 2020. I've used it about 4 or 5 times and one thing I noticed about getting at the roots is that it only seems to work if your hair is about 50% wet or more. I can only straightens roots with this thing if I can create tension on the roots. If the roots have already mostly dried, I don't know why, but the right amount of tension can only be created when it's wet and so if the roots dry too much, they will just stay curly no matter how many times I run the volumizer through them 😔

      Thank you! That’s a helpful tip for the next time I use it. I was trying to avoid using heat on wet hair but this makes sense and some other people have share this with me as well☺️

      I just mastered the best blowout for my 3b hair using this brush. I use the Olaplex N°6 bond smoother and a tad bit of any oil on really wet hair I still can't believe how silky and smooth it is.

      @@anyny9537 next time I try it I’m going to make sure my hair is more wet!

    For your hairtype, I think you need more dampness like around 50 to 60% and more tension. Btw you are gorgeous

    What type of layers do you have? Your layers are the type that I want, and every time I get a haircut, the hairdresser never seems to understand what I was for. Not even with a picture

    • @YalianaEnid
      @YalianaEnid  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I honestly don’t know what to call it but I got a curly cut and asked for short layers. I loved the salon I went to and I have no idea where you live but if you happen to be close you should check out the Texture Curl Bar in West Reading, PA. If not at least check out their Instagram page @texturecurlbar to see some of their work and maybe it might be helpful to your stylist! I hope you get a haircut you love soon 💓 I know it’s hard to find the right person

    As it gets so hot, do you think the Revlon brush damages the hair over time?
