Hey guys! Since purchasing the Revlon brush, I changed my mind on it a bit. I noticed over time it was causing breakage at the top of my hair, so I switched to a dyson or using hot rollers lately for the blow-out look :) I have a video tutorial on using hot rollers if you want to check it out : th-cam.com/video/dUAmdtN-goc/w-d-xo.html ❤
I can totally relate! Been using the Revlon for a while now.. I want to write Revlon a thank-you note.. All the money I have spent on irons, brushes, shampoos, dryers and leave- in products for the "air dry" look ..I also do not have the dexterity to manipulate a round brush and hairdryer at the same time. My hair story is a long one. As an educator, I used to schedule a salon blow-out before picture day and getting my hair to look nice was a constant source of stress. This dryer has completely changed my life! Wish I had it years ago..
Ok thank you for the info ❤ But how much time the fluffiness or straighten hair last long? I like to know it bcoz I'm thinking about to buy it. So.. Can u pls say how much longer it will be stay like that?
Hi, just bought the Revlon and just to let others know: if you use the low or cool setting the whole time to dry your hair, it takes about 40 min for medium-long hair. So it is much longer than the 12 min of this video, but it will save your hair from heat and it is considerably less time and effort than with a blowdryer. This One-Step is a game changer for me!
Yes if you dry it with the Revlon from wet to dry it would take a lot longer! For me, I do a rough blow dry until it’s about 80% dry then just finish with the Revlon☺️
@@PatriciaBerenzon Yes, I did hair dry my hair to 80% first, then blowdried on low and cool settings only, the rest of hair and it took 40 min! My hair is bra length.
Heyy just wanna give two advices for volume. If you want a nice curl look then use the heatless rollers in every section after you’re done blow drying it and then take those rollers out whenever you’re heading or when you’re ready. For volume i would say do the upper part of your head, the crown basically, go inwards it will give you a very nice volume.
I have the exact same hair type (curly, frizzy and a bit dry) and the same length. It took me 30 minutes just to fully dry it. The roots got wavy and frizzy about 15 min later. I don't get all these videos really. And I have experience in styling my hair.
i feel you so bad. Ive had the revlon brush for over 2 years and i never figured out how to make my blowout last. My straight hair lasts only when i flat iron it
I just got one like a month ago and I have used it, and I love it, but I couldn't figure out how to get more volume at the top so it's very helpful to actually SEE how to do that.
i have very similar hair type and i have this brush and everytime i use it it never works and i think this really helps. i also like how it's 2 simple products instead a bunch love this
Love the way you styled your hair.👌👌But in my case my hair styles lasts only for few minutes and then again it goes back to wavy and curly hair. So can you please give some suggestions to make the hair straight for longer time?
hello! i just purchased this hair dryer and i'm not sure when i'm supposed to blow dry my hair. should i blow-dry it right after the shower when it's fully wet? or when it's 50% dry? thank you in advance, love your video !!
Beautiful! Thank you for the recommendation. I have very similar hair to yours and have damaged my hair a lot with hair iron. Do you use the cold air at any point during the blowout?
Thank you for watching! Me too, I’m trying to avoid heat lately. Honestly, I haven’t tried it much but I’m thinking to use cold air at the end to smooth it down! Have you tried it?
Thank you for this video ❤ I like to know how much longer will the fluffiness or straighten hair last long? I like to buy it, so can you plz tell me how much time it will stay like that??
I just bought the Revlon styler 3 days ago & I've used it twice. Both times my hair is beautiful & shiny.. but it's still flat with no volume. My hair is long, reaching my elbows with my arms straight down. I do the whole flip over part & try to curl my ends like you did, but it never stays. I haven't used any products besides shampoo/conditioner, so that could be the problem with my ends not staying curled...?? Will a heat protectant help the blowout keep its shape & volume?? Or what products do you recommend to help?? Any advice is very appreciated. I love my Revlon, but I want results like this... Mine just looks like I dried it with a regular blow-dryer with zero effort. 🙁
Hi! My hair may not be as heavy as your but I recently tried this blow dryer on my longer hair and my new haircut which is lighter more angled and has more layers. 1. You might have to start with cool air, then hot air, then cool hair and focus it at the roots. Apparently cold hair sets the style. 2. Your haircut layers might be too long and too heavy. When my hair was longer, I didn't get the volume. As soon as I got layers and angles around my face- va va voom. Hope this helps.
Hi Patricia! Your blowout looks stunning :) How long does this hairstyle last you? How many times a week are you doing this blowout? I have a wild 2c hair that's very hard to style and is extremely sensitive to humidity and wind.
Hey! I haven’t noticed too much of a change but I also don’t use it for too long. I blow dry my hair until it’s almost dry and only use this tool to smooth it and shape it for about 5 min! I think if you use it for too long it heats up and could damage your hair ❤️
My hair is really thin, gets frizzy after hair wash :( and is shoulder length. The brush looks bulky, you think it's gonna be ok to use on my kinda hair? Wanna just your opinion before I buy one? Thanks for the video though..
First off your video is great, these results in only 12 minutes wow 😍! I'm thinking about getting the brush. But i was wondering : how much time do you spend to straighten your hair with a flat iron ? (cause you only mention it cutting your "drying time" by half).
If I go from natural to straight hair, it would take me about 20-30 min. If I go from blow dryed (somewhat straight) hair to straight hair, it would take me around 15 min. This brush cuts a lot of steps for me so to me, it’s worth it! ☺️
I blow dry my hair with a regular blow drier until it’s 80% dry and only use this for about 5 min now! That way it’s not too damaging and won’t get sfuck
Mine used to get stuck too! I started using a leave in conditioner and Argan oil and combing the sections with a wide tooth comb before passing the revlon through it and it goes right through with ease!

Hello, In what setting do you use it (low or high)? My wave is similar to yours but my hair is coarse and when I use this tool I still have frizz :/ Thanks!
Hey! I use it in the high setting, the low setting leaves me with frizz and doesn’t straighten my hair enough! Try using an oil or smoothing spray after to get rid of frizz! I usually do that if it’s still too frizzy
@@PatriciaBerenzon Thanks Patricia. I use it on low setting because I am afraid that it will damage my hair but if you have been using it on high and you don't see damage, I will follow your recommendation.

oh.... what do you mean by causing breakage?
I noticed more flyaways at the top of my head!
try the curly girl routine for a video? i would love that!

Agreed!!!❤️
i love the way you styled your hair with the dryer! very natural and voluminous :)

i'm gonna try the oil because every time i use that thing my hair is really frizzy and after like 10 minutes it's wavy again

You probably need a gel or mousse to hold the hair style.
Make sure you're drying it completely. Add a straightening gell
