When finding the best holster for concealed carry, a few things matter. Whether Glock, Hellcat, Sig, M&P, finding the best holster for concealed carry is important. Concealed carrying a Glock, Hellcat, Sig, M&P or others must be done with worthy holsters. I recommend metal belt clips (Discreet Carry Concepts), minimum 0.08 thickness kydex, two belt clips and not leather (I like leather wrapped kydex). The rest is up to you to modify or purchase with wings, wedges and the like. Also, how you carry IWB like appendix, strong side and the like will influence your decision. I hope this has helped give you some ideas when looking for the perfect holster!
Hi, what is it about leather holster you do not like? I would like to know your input, considering I've been seeing a lot of great reviews for leather holsters from Urban carry holsters and JM4tactical. holsters
I am actually making my own Kydex holster tonight (been a pain finding one for my setup, figured i would give it a shot), you have given me some good ideas so i appreciate the video!
@@CaptainBerz I’m not a fan of having to buy a specific light combo like most companies have told me I would need to do in order to use their holster. I’ve been in combat arms for 21 years so I have an idea of what I’m doing I just like to do all the research I can before dicking around. I copy and pasted the same comment to each channel that I felt had good information to try and support content creators
I find the Harry’s Shorty to be a really nice design. They aren’t flashy especially for the price you don’t get different color kydex or a lot of options but they are quality, the built in wedge is nice. Just what you need, nothing you don’t.
Great informative video! Enjoy your Hellcat. I have both the original Hellcat and the Pro. Perfect carry guns. A little tight, with a little heavier trigger in the beginning, but smooth out perfectly with rounds downrange. All the best!
I love my Close Quarters Carry AIWB holster. They offer 1 or 2 layers of kydex. I can’t imagine how I’d ever break the thing. Got a mono block, a wing, and wedge it’s perfect for me. I’m 5’9 and 240 pounds.

I got to say with light bearing holsters vedder is good if you dont mind moding a lot i personally dont need a light attached to my edc and if im carrying my 43x its in a g code if carry my 19 with a mag T rex all the way there better than teir 1 i like txc there x1 and x1 pro right now i got my t rex because i like carrying extra rounds .
Certainly different, but both are great. I have one Tier 1, and like it. I think Harry's is solid and I do not see a reason to have to spend money if you have one. If it is a Infiltrator/Shorty.

i like the leather car jacker for my walther PPS 2
Leather. No thanks. To each their own, but I do not recommend them for concealed carry/non-DA pistols.

I am not a fan of making your own. But more power to you if you are.

Every gun owner/CCW permitee has a box of holsters, half of which go to guns you no longer have or do not go well with the gun they were meant house.
For the most part, but many simply have one or two.
@@CaptainBerznot if you’ve been carrying for more than a year I’d bet on that. Everybody got a drawer or a box
Yep. Harrys and Tenicor for me, too.
Indeed!
I recognized that harry holster real quick. They are excellent, I got one for my j frame and a p365 macro. So good.

Just don't be left handed.

Right on. Yea, I am not a trigger snob. Takes a lot for me to complain. Haha. Take care!
Galco leather “Miami Classic” shoulder holster; Desantis leather paddle holster
It sure is amazing how many holsters you accumulate over the years. It's getting about time for another whiskey video.
Haha. No Whiskey until September. I burn out on it by the end of the Holidays. LOL!
You should try blackpoint tactical hosters
I have a video on them years ago. For OWB I love them.

Great guidance. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Harry’s shorty holster is the best for all day appendix carry. Unless you’re left handed, then you’re in Harry’s words “ out of luck” 😢
Guess I'm lucky!
@@CaptainBerz And Harry is pretty short- sighted.
RICKY BOBBY 🏁🏁🏁🏁
Woooo!
Try alabama holsters for pocket carry. For me, tenicore and tier 1 work the best for aiwb.
I’ve found that thinner kydex is going to be more comfortable in most cases, and most plastic clips will not break under hard use.
Thinner kydex gets brittle and breaks. Plastic clips break in combative and dynamic situations. Like climbing over walls, etc.
So what I have to do is buy 100 holsters then take things apart to make my own that’s going to work
Maybe.
Vedder works for me.
Never told us why you were picking up the RDP over the original / PRO! :/
Do you have an opinion about jx tactical holsters?

Do you prefer a pistol with or without a wml? Curious to read your take for ccw. Thanks.
Bro do you like Harry's over the newer tenucor or Tier 1 holsters? I love my Harry's holster but wondering if you like one better

Hi which Harry’s holster did you go with? I have the shield plus PC
@@DF-ec9de I honestly forgot the name of the one I have. I think it starts with and I tho.
@@luckylandy2945 ok thanks
@@DF-ec9de For a Shield Plus get the Harry’s Shorty.
What holster is in the video at 1:54
Harry’s
Best Glock 19 holster for concealment? Low ride and claw. Would it be vedder?
What would be your favorite? I just bought a Hellcat Pro (10 day wait) looking for holster IWB?
Harry's Infiltrator is solid as a first holster to try, IMO.
What have you found to be your favorite light bearing holster/brand?
Depends. Duty or Concealed? Tenicor and Harrys, still both great options for light bearing. Harrys is probably the best first try holster.
