Agreed! Once I realized that, I also realized it makes perfect sense when you think about the crazy and very similar patterns you often see on test cars to prevent corporate espionage because you can't easily make out the exact shape of the car.
No shit there I was, Central TX on Veterans Day getting my haircut. I walk in the greatclips…first person I notice? a HYPER GRAY MAN. - tactical pants ✅ - salomon shoes ✅ - trucker hat ✅ - wearing shades indoors like a weirdo? ✅ - gruntstyle shirt ✅ (only diff between this dude and the one in your videos) I assume he is carrying, and glance at his waist. He is HEAVILY PRINTING at the 3 with an IWB holster as the magazine well is sticking out like an impalement. Sad thing is I’m fairly certain I’m the only one who noticed. I’m rocking a 365 in my appendix T. rex arms Raptor (waiting to get a VELO5) with my zero belt. “Gray man” is oblivious to me as I’m rocking shorts, vans, and a normal T. Perhaps we need a vid on situational awareness, if there isn’t already one. P.S. more “gray man” content please! That shit is so funny.
I wear Altama Maritime Assault boots (the mid rise ones) because they look pretty much like Converse. Blue jeans and recently a leather bomber style jacket. Seems to work for me.
Yes, sadly too many bought into a grey man "uniform". Your dress was totally real grey man if you were not drawing attention and seemed a normal part of the crowd. Good job on situational awareness.
Summer carry is the main problem for most people, I wish you'd focused on that more. When it's hot out you can't have multiple layers or even heavy black t-shirts. My solution these days is deep concealment with a tiny firearm but of course the draw isn't fast nor smooth. It's a compromise though between going with or without.
Yup, owb during heavy clothing months for me. So easy to conceal with a jacket, hoodie, flannel, and it helps me with my stomach issues I get from appendix carrying. N I'm not fat in the slightest, just got some bitch ass intestines. 😂
Yes here in Houston, Tx it can be a bit of a challenge so I honestly am a part time carry person but with some of the tips in this video maybe that can change. Thank you for the video and peoples comments.
As far as shorts and joggers go, there are options out there. One of them is the Phlster Enigma. We find ourselves living in a great time for concealed carry. Tons of affordable ccw firearms, optics, and lights. Even holster, and carry systems. You don't have to limit your fashion options either.
Good video, the information you put out is top tier, Jeff. Tessa Booth made a similar video years ago for fabric choices. Cheers and good luck. If you must wear a fitted shirt, choose one with patterns, that tends to break up the outline of the gun.
Hi Jeff, great video. I always recommend your videos to people new to concealed carry. I think they’re very informative. One topic I would love for you to cover his how to properly carry appendix so that it is comfortable in a seated position. That’s an issue. I struggle with and I think a lot of other people do. Especially if you’re overweight. Most videos about proper holster adjustment demonstrate the holster while standing. The problem to me really is sitting. And sitting in different heights and angles like the difference between an office chair and sitting in your car. For many people, I know the reason they don’t carry regularly is because of this challenge. Keep up the good work.
The #1 thing I learn from your channel without you saying anything is how good a hoody is at concealing appendix carry. I start my conceal carry journey with IWB 3-4 O’clock, then bellyband holster, switch to pocket carry soon after. Now experimenting appendix carry and OWB cover with XL hoody.
I have to say your videos are no bs straight forward information, thank you. I found your company on TH-cam when I couldn't sleep. I've ordered 2 holsters since then, same day. I appreciate your experience and candid approach.
Excellent common sense answers. Great job. I'm retired, so I can wear whatever I want, which in my case is always blue jeans, t shirt, loose fitting henley shirt. For my carry, either a 5 or 6 shot snub nose 38, which I find easier to conceal than a semi-auto. I always carry, usually aiwb, unless I'm someplace where it's illegal, such as a school.
Tenicor knocked it out of the park with the Velo5. I wasn’t a fan of the Velo4, but the improvements are significant. It’s my new favorite holster for my full size PDP. I can carry that big gun under a t-shirt with comfort all day.
Solid information. It took me a while to discover hoodies as a primary concealed carry garment, but now having several of a couple of different weights, they get me by 3/4 of the year. I still struggle in Summer because I'm not a big button down shirt guy, but good pants, belt, holster, and a wedge really help when I'm wearing t-shirts. I agree that a "full time carry" mentality is more efficient, but there can be exceptions. For instance, I'm retired and now a half-assed farmer, so most of the day at home, I'm in an OWB holster for comfort when doing chores, etc. (and of course don't care much about concealment). When I go to the city, I switch to clean clothes and AIWB carry, so even though I carry "full time", I still have to sort of deal with "part time" carry.
Great point about deciding to be “all in” when it comes to carrying. I work in a professional environment where dress pants and button up shirts are the norm. The compromise of a small of the back tuck holster is what I choose to accept and it works well for me. It also is less prone to printing as most dress shirts tend to poof out in back through the day for most guys. The few observant around me over the years have asked about the extra black clips that are visible on my belt, but most never notice them. If they’re faint of heart I just tell them my belt is a special reinforced belt because I had belts break in the past. They never ask again. In my daily environment, the most likely threat is a bad actor somewhere pretty far away from me, so the extra second of time and effort of draw time isn’t a big risk in my case. Could also be an advantage in the crowded room scenario as I would bet I appear less likely to be carrying compared to the guy dressed in a hoodie to the casual observer (no shade, just sayin). I also include this in my range days by practicing my draw from behind my back under a tucked shirt as well as when I disarm every day by drawing with purpose.
If u live in a state which has no restrictions on open carry, u don't have to worry about printing when choosing to carry concealed cuz the law basically says as long as u made a reasonable attempt to conceal the gun you're good.
People don’t worry about printing because of the law, we don’t want to print because we are concealing for a reason, we don’t want people to see or know we have a firearm.
@dc2014101 ever buy a new car and then drive down the road and realize how many others of that car u see? Everyone who doesn't have a gun, won't notice the printing. The only people who pickup the printing are your fellow carriers
@@GrantTravels23I’d agree mostly, but there are plenty of observant and/or curious enough people that pick up on it too out there. Plus, I’d bet the bad actor is more likely to be part of the group who would notice more often than not.
I'd like to see a video on conceal carrying when your shirt is tucked in. My job requires me to dress professionally, so that means either tucked in Polo on casual days or button up dress shirt when there will be clients on site. It also means that 5 out of the 7 days I am dressed like that. I also live in South Florida, so essentially continuous summer. I think this is the most challenging conceal carry case, since you can't wear heavy clothes to hide the gun.
For me, I conceal carry a p320 and I am in a similar situation since I wear just a button down shirt or a suit most days. I have a hybrid leather holster, I think the official name of it is 1781 custom fit holster (in size 5 or 6). Regardless, I have it modified to be in a cross draw position and the clip is close to where my belt buckle is. My belt is rather thick and the clip can hide reliability behind the overlap. The clip itself is like a L shape where there is a gap between where the clip mounts on the holster itself and the part where it clips to the belt. Anyways, I just tuck in the shirt in the gap. I do add stuff on occasionally with a vest or a blazer, but it works well otherwise. So, doing something similar might work for you. You could also look at getting a belly band, but idk a lot of it depends on your body shape and the size of the pistol.
Invest in a system like the Mastermind Tactics Covert Belt. I wear this when I wear suits and it hides the gun extremely well. It's made to wear under your clothing so you can wear clothing without a belt, or in my usage; wear a suit and carry a gun. Also, wear your shirts a little longer than normal. This way you have enough material to tuck in and cover your firearm and still give your normal adjustment for when you tuck your shirt (if that makes sense). Also, Constitne Hunter has a belt similar to the Mastermind belt and if your wanting to pay a little more, try the Enigma chassis system. It's a little more expensive and appendix only, but it's a great system if your willing to pay. Also, get a holster with tuck clips and a claw (or wing) The clips are made to tuck your shirt in over your firearm and the claw will help push the gun back against your body helping to hide the firearm even more. These are somethings I do and I have zero issues carrying in a suit.
This is good "Gear Review Video". In my hood above the army and police 1 of 3 is carry, so printing is not a thing. But I do appreciate the principle of "concealed" and I picked few good tips
Well I got lucky because besides getting a good EDC belt, iwb holster, and a nice slim EDC handgun, I get to take advantage of the fact that I am overweight and I carry at about the 2:25 and my larger stomach happens to rest on top of the grip so my shirt goes over everything with zero imprint and there is absolutely no discomfort. Even if I wear a tight shirt there is zero imprint.
I personally do the polo shirt in a suit look as much as possible. It's modern, chic, and the blazer (linen blazer during summer) hides everything you don't want others to see on you :D If I'm going the streetwear route, a black oversized t shirt tucked or untucked with a chain around the neck always works for me. The chain diverts the eyes from the waistline. During colder months I'm not worried at all sweaters, leather jackets etc. do the work. Any belt works tbh. Go designer belts if anything as it diverts the eyes from the holster clip if the shirt's tucked in. I stay away as much as possible from "the guy who carries" look. OD green, tan, tactical softshells, "tactical" jeans, hoodies with certain logos, certain types/brand of shoes all look like you're armed. Even plaid flannels, Hawaiians, Carhartt's are bit of a stretch too, though it depends on the overall silhouette.
My wife convinced me to use suspenders after I started carrying in addition to the edc belt by Next. Best advise ever, the suspenders take so much weight from the hips and makes it easier to carry.
Great video! I started carrying a pistol concealed when I deployed in the Air Force. I actually got decent at carrying the M9 in uniform, and it really forced me to adapt my gear to concealment. I had no idea what I was doing but using the serpa I've come to learn that angles really make a giant difference. I'm a bigger guy now, so appendix really isn't comfortable, but I think if one is going to hip carry, consider carrying a mag carrier to help even out your profile so you don't look lopsided. Alternatively my bare minimum carry is a S&W Model 10 IWB with two speed strips that fit perfect in the lighter pocket of jeans.
All very valid and insightful points. I worked law enforcement for 19 years and carried concealed for all that time. I didn't know any of this and I am sure I wore the wrong clothes. But In my 19 years of carrying a gun off duty I was never "made"" as wearing a gun. Not by other cops, the public and N criminal ever made me feel like he knew I was carrying. So, We can follow the best advice or be dumb. Either way it boils down to where and who you associate with and a bit of luck. A reasonable size gun in relation to your body size is probably the most appropriate to CCW carry.
Since 10mm is gaining public traction and the holster market is less than underwhelming. Y'all should consider it. It would cover both the g20 and g21 I believe. I'd buy one. I love both my tenicor holsters. Just the peanut gallery here. Thanks for the video Jeff.
This was great!!! But how about hot environments like Southeast Texas. It is hot and humid for about 8 months of the year. Maybe, a video regarding hot environments and carrying bigger guns ( compact or full size)
I agree completely. As a fellow Texan, I can confirm that carying concealed is definitely more of a challenge in hot weather. Although it's still possible to conceal a full-size handgun, I normally switch to subcompact when I have to wear lighter, thinner, hot weather clothing. I gotta say, the Zero belt is deceptively effective! My first impression was that it was overpriced and too simple. After wearing it daily for over a year, I am a BELIEVER. It doesn't slip...at all... and adjustability is better than anything else I've found. The minimal material works perfectly for concealed carry in hot weather with any size gun I chose and fits better with thin clothes than any other belt I own.
I just commended the same thing that summer carry is usually the problem, especially when you're not built like Reacher. My solution these days is a tiny firearm and deep concealment, the draw isn't great but it's a compromise between going with or without.
I've gone back and forth between appendix and 2:3O OWB. Last couple years has been the 2:30 OWB with a Core Garrison belt and a high & tight to the body forward-canted holster - uually a Blackpoint Tactical OWB with a Sig X-Macro TacOps. It nestles under my ribs unobtrusively. A tactical style button-down with rolled up sleeves over a Underalls style power core t-shirt lets me go unbuttoned most of the time. It's gotten me through the last couple of summers. Cold weather requires a bit more creativity.
I like the video and think an important theme is to not wear any "tactical" or "operator" gear. Like no obvious stuff like 5.11 or LAPG or Blackhawk or Vertyx that doesn't look like civilian clothes. No utility pockets or magazine pockets, etc. I watched a James Reeves video about concealed carry where he is in the 5.11 store with an LAPD cop talking about gray man, and the cop looked like he had a utility belt under a too-small t-shirt. You have to take the macho out of the equation...I'm a fat old dude, and I carry at 4 o'clock with an untucked collared button front short sleeved shirt- on the looser side of fit, and patterned. Works well in the SW where I wear shorts and short sleeved shirts most of the year.
One of my favorite brands for function (double-zipper) and looks is Prometheus Design Werx, especially their Defiant hoodie. Water resistant, a good layering shell, and packs pretty compactly. Their pants are super comfortable and have great pocketing too. GORUCK clothing (especially their pants) are excellent for travel as well as carry even though they utilize a technical fabric.
i live just outside a small town in the midwest where farming an cattle are common features. so bib overalls are common. appendix carry on a belt inside your bibs will conceal just about anything.
Most sizes are out of stock at the moment. Your best bet is to sign up for email notifications on the product page in your size. You'll receive an email the moment we put your belt in stock. 🤙
I live where it’s summer 9/12 months. Tenicor Saga Lux 2 is my go to holster with a 365 legion; mostly wear semi loose tshirts or a shirt and button up. Absolutely love the holster.
I've worn a collared shirt untucked for 30 years. It's nice that untucked is now the style. Of course, I live in warm climate, that makes what I wear "normal".
I have multiple handguns with a variety of holsters for change of seasons and threat levels. Cross-draw, pocket, appendix, strong-side OWB or IWB. No shoulder or chest rigs.
I use an IWB holster but not in the waist of the pants all the time, sometimes just inside the belt. Depends on how tight the pants are. The belt is crucial, if you are just using sweat pants and relying on the string to hold it up, it can fall out when walking. It has happened to me, but I was on a walking path with no one around, so it didn't end up being an embarrassing moment- no one saw it. The belt clip on the holster needs something to grab.
When it gets hot in the summer, I cannot bring myself to wear stiffer pants, i almost always wear fabletics shorts. I found that the MasterMind tactical belt works well because its not actually attached to your pants. Of course, it helps to be in shape as well and not have a gut. It seems like your zero belt would work well for it too
SWEATPANTS CONCEAL CARRY is easier with something like the leisure carry belt. It clips to the waste of the joggers, sweatpants, shorts, etc and then you clip your holster to it. It only really works if your pants have some way to tighten them (drawstring). It really sturdy but if you’re attempting to wear leggings or shorts with no drawstring it’s not gonna be as comfortable and it’s gonna flap around and hang down away from the body.
Any plans on giving the zero belt a tiny bit of stretch in the future? It's already a lot more comfortable than traditional gun belts, but I don't think I'm the only one who gets a bit of discomfort in the hips and back after sitting down with it all day. While the Groove Life belts aren't meant for carrying a gun as they're quite thin, the material is pretty impressive with its vertical rigidity while still having a degree of stretch.
Thanks for dropping a comment. No plans for a stretchy belt. Stretch in your belt and good concealment are mutually exclusive. Some stretch in your pants is fine as long as you have a belt with structure.
If you wear cargo pants/shorts every day like I do, going up one size doesn't have much of an effect on overall fit. Cargo pants are generally loose fitting anyway. When I started to CC, I went from size 32 to 34 and it made very little difference. My pants neither look nor feel like they're too big for me, and carrying IWB got a lot more comfortable.
Winter is so easy. It’s the summer that’s hard. Especially if you live somewhere that gets to triple digits heat index often. You need light colored, light wearing clothes, which is the opposite of what you want for CC. I still haven’t found a good system for this.
How do you deal with needing to bend over with appendix carry? or sitting? I started carrying a G19 and it seems to press into my abdomen or pecker when I need to bend over to pick things up.
Thank you for the video. My son carries a Glock 43x with a TLR-7 sub in a Tenicor SL2. He wanted to purchase an Arrowhead hoodie I told him not too because he needs to get the gun out of the holster then through the inside pocket of the hoodie and then the outer pocket of the hoodie, so that brings a chance of accidental shooting to himself and others especially if someone is standing next to him. Disclaimer we both like and use the Arrowhead 8”shorts they work great and very comfortable that’s using the same set-up as mentioned before. What is your take on this?
I like POM. Put a strip of Talon grip down the side of it and you can draw it very quickly. Cheap enough that you can take it out in the back yard and practice with it and keep cycling the canisters so you always have a fresh one in your pocket.
My biggest problem with concealed carry/appendix carry is that I also carry my phone (a huge S23 Ultra with an Otterbox case) on a belt clip near the appendix position, and there is barely room for both.
Maintaining a slim weight is key too. You don't want to be overweight while ttying to conceal. Is just going to cause issues, and i am speaking from experience.
I live in the country. The threats I come across may not be man. I find conceal carry uncomfortable. Not to mention anything about suitable calibers for large mammals. I'll just keep my galco leather holster.
I had to change the type of clothing (not tactical) just 1 size up. But most importantly got a good belt and AIWB Tenicore Velo 4 with 2 T1 clips. Using it over 3 years EDC 365. I tried many other holsters none fit/feel as comfortable as Tenicore. Im sure the Velo 5 is even better.
Appreciate the support. 🤙For most people, the VELO5 will fit better. If you've been running your 365 in a VELO4 for 3 years with no issues, you're probably good to stick with what you got.
Undershirt cheap form fitting cotton that is never used as an overshirt. Shirt is going to get oil and carbon on it and after a number of washes will no longer come out clean so just throw it away. I use the vneck taggless Hanes
Appendix carry would be ideal EXCEPT for the potential for muzzle sweeping the femoral artery, particularly when seated or transitioning to/from a seat, not to mention the draw.
Thanks for the comment. We addressed this concern in another video called, "Here's how I've not shot myself in 20+ years of carrying a gun". In that video we covered all things appendix carry. We'd argue AIWB is actually safer than carrying on the hip. 👀
I've gotten down to basic training weight due to health issues, Ive just recently found Duluth(flex) Trading slim fit fire hose pants good for work or tactical.
Urban Star jeans. They have just enough stretch to be comfortable no matter how i carry. Durable, too. I hurt clothing. Adult ADHD. These are still holding up afrer a couple years.
Thanks for the feedback and question. An option for what? If you mean clothing suggestions, then the same rules apply for the most part. If you mean options for concealed carry other than appendix carry, then, yes we make an IWB holster called the CERTUM3. The CERTUM3 doesn't have the body contour and has much more cant adjustability in the clips to allow you to angle the gun on your hip exactly where you need it for optimal comfort and concealment. Check it out on our website Tenicor.com. 🤙
What about a fanny pack carry? I live in North Texas where it’s hot as Hell's basement and humid enough to cut the air with a butter knight nine months out of the year. You won't exactly stick out if you are wearing jeans in that environment, but you also will not necessarily blend in if you are out running errands or in the stores. I would think an astute person would question why you are wearing long heavy pants in July in Texas. If I saw someone wearing jeans in the summertime here, and they didn't appear to be a construction worker, a physical labor person whose job required them to wear long pants, I would wonder why? In my previous location I lived in the desert, but it was also ranch and cattle country so seeing people in 115° heat in the summertime wearing jeans was not unusual, however, now I live in an urban environment so that rules that option out. As I said, it doesn't exactly scream gun, but it is also not the usual in that environment. Wintertime is a completely different conversation. If you are wearing 2 layers, as in a T-shirt and a button up the front shirt, you are also going to stick out a bit, not to mention sweating to death. Again, if I saw someone in this area wearing a button up the front shirt in summertime here, and especially if they had an undershirt under it, my first assumption would be that they are carrying. Not exactly unusual in Texas, but enough to make you notice. It's even worse when I go back home to Mississippi in the summertime. The humidity is much worse. I am also a college strength and conditioning coach, so my normal workwear is athletic shorts and a T-shirt. 90% of the time if I am out and about running errands or in the stores, it is directly after work, and I am still wearing my “work clothes”. It seems to me, in both those scenarios, a fanny pack carry may be the most viable option.
I print everyday and nobody notices because the general public don’t live their lives looking at peoples waistbands and automatically think “omg he’s got a gun!!” The general public are staring at their phones for one and secondly, if (and I mean IF because the likelihood of getting struck by lightning is much higher) someone were to ever point out a bulge in your waist, you can tell them it’s a medical device like an insulin pump.
In most states printing or showdowing is illegal. I have to be a true dumb-a-- advertise that you are carrying. A " bad guy " so to speak, will size you up as the first target. At that point, you won't be able to help the good people you should be willing to protect. Just saying !!!
5:06 mind the clearance on your flannel during your drills. If you carry appendix wearing a fitted flannel and you fumble with your gun, you could die. Shop carefully.
I'm a professional flasher, so this is a real challenge for me. There is the gun that I want to be seen, and the one that I don't want to be seen. Prison wallet carry is my only option.
New to conceal carry, but I am wondering if it’s necessary to carry full-time. Who can provide real statistics, something that can be confirmed, how many good guys with a gun actually stop a bad guy with a gun in the United States per year.
The biggest problem is what to do if you have to take a dump in a public restroom. If you leave your gun attached to your belt then your gun will be at your ankles and people can see it. But if you take it off your belt where are you going to put it?
Most restrooms I visit have either a toilet paper dispenser that is just big enough to lay something on or they have a normal toilet with a tank. When those two things are not there, the handicap handrail can work in a pinch, but it is a balancing act sometimes. Last resort is I take a shoe off and use that as a holster. I’d rather a peeker think I’m strange for having a shoe off than see the gun. You gotta pick your battles. (I wear ankle-boot style shoes) But first. Try not to poop in public… for tons of reasons. 🙃
Keep it strapped on your hip with the Mastermind Covert or why not keep the attached holster on your belt on top of your knees instead of dropping it to the ankle?
I find tie dye to be extremely effective. Firstly, the disruptive pattern hides things very well, secondly, no one assumes the dude in tie dye is carrying.
That is a good point
Agreed! Once I realized that, I also realized it makes perfect sense when you think about the crazy and very similar patterns you often see on test cars to prevent corporate espionage because you can't easily make out the exact shape of the car.
I do this but with nerdy shirts.
Anime, favorite TV shows, ETC.
Nobody thinks the dude in a goofy meme SpongeBob shirt is packing 😂
That’s a fantastic strategy!
Real shit. Subverting expectations is the most effective disguise.
Kudos to you for your unwavering dedication to delivering a thorough and comprehensive approach to concealed carry education.
Thank you! Appreciate the support. 🤙
No shit there I was, Central TX on Veterans Day getting my haircut.
I walk in the greatclips…first person I notice? a HYPER GRAY MAN.

P.S. more “gray man” content please! That shit is so funny.
Love it! 🤣Noted. Appreciate the support. 🤙
I wear Altama Maritime Assault boots (the mid rise ones) because they look pretty much like Converse. Blue jeans and recently a leather bomber style jacket. Seems to work for me.
If you're in central Texas then there was probably 6 other people carrying that you didn't notice.
@@House_of_Zodd good possibility 👍🏾
Yes, sadly too many bought into a grey man "uniform". Your dress was totally real grey man if you were not drawing attention and seemed a normal part of the crowd. Good job on situational awareness.
Pro tip. Use a dressing room and try clothing on with your edc prior to buying the wrong fitting shirt. Wow problem solved
that's how I do it at TJ Maxx, and they have those wall size mirrors
That makes absolute sense😂😂😂
Summer carry is the main problem for most people, I wish you'd focused on that more. When it's hot out you can't have multiple layers or even heavy black t-shirts. Yup, owb during heavy clothing months for me. So easy to conceal with a jacket, hoodie, flannel, and it helps me with my stomach issues I get from appendix carrying. N I'm not fat in the slightest, just got some bitch ass intestines. 😂
Also, op, bodyguard 2.0 with the qvo holster.
For summer, get a wedge&claw and a subcompact gun @ appendix
Can still wear an undershirt and a loose t-shirt or button down. True to hoodie or jacket, but with a quality holster it isn’t really needed.
Of all the gun channels i watch on YT, this one has taught me the most about everything around conceal carrying. Doesn't even try to sell me stuff!
Agreed!!
When you live in South Florida, it’s much more challenging! It’s a tropical climate year round!
Texas Gulf Coast here. It does take some planning to carry with nine months of humidity.
Panhandle here. Sig x-macro every day no matter what I'm wearing. Good belt and holster and you're solid
Yes here in Houston, Tx it can be a bit of a challenge so I honestly am a part time carry person but with some of the tips in this video maybe that can change. Thank you for the video and peoples comments.
Those lightweight Button down fishing shirts help to not print

For me I have liked 5.11 pants and kept my normal pant size. For shirts I went up one size. I also use your zero belt and your holsters.
Let’s get the zero belt back in stock, you slackers
Yes sir. 🫡
Black Friday?
Tenicor knocked it out of the park with the Velo5. I wasn’t a fan of the Velo4, but the improvements are significant. It’s my new favorite holster for my full size PDP. I can carry that big gun under a t-shirt with comfort all day.
How is the built in wedge? I returned the 4 because the wedge was just to much. Would like to try the 5 but worried it'll be the same
Solid information.
There's a lot of good thinking in this video. The most important is getting the mindset that you are about to make a lifestyle commitment.
I already know this is gonna be a banger
Ciguera belts were a game changer for me, 100% recommend
Thank you for taking the time to talk about this
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. 🤙
Ankle pistol ftw
This is good "Gear Review Video".
In my hood above the army and police 1 of 3 is carry, so printing is not a thing.
But I do appreciate the principle of "concealed" and I picked few good tips
Appreciate the feedback. 🤙
It's modern, chic, and the blazer (linen blazer during summer) hides everything you don't want others to see on you :D
If I'm going the streetwear route, a black oversized t shirt tucked or untucked with a chain around the neck always works for me.
This is what I mean when I say "due diligence". Your work here is excellence in action. Thank you sir!
Appreciate the support. 🤙
I carry a full size year round in a normal plane Jane white shirt. I sweat too much to wear a hoodie or flannel.
Baggy shirt is about your only real option. Stiff button ups in a tall size.
Light overshirts like linen. Loose tee shirts or tank tops. Light vests.
Those 5.11 jeans are my favorite.Spendy, but good. I also like the khakis from LAPG that have those great pockets.
Thanks for spending all that money and time figuring this stuff out. Subbed.
Yup I just started this year but I always enjoyed buying 3 or 4 pairs of the same model pants in different colors. Makes life easier.
Where are the zero belts???
Most sizes are out of stock at the moment. Your best bet is to sign up for email notifications on the product page in your size. You'll receive an email the moment we put your belt in stock. 🤙
I live where it’s summer 9/12 months. Tenicor Saga Lux 2 is my go to holster with a 365 legion; mostly wear semi loose tshirts or a shirt and button up. Absolutely love the holster.
Also, not sure of your opinion of HK and their new CC9 but will you make an AIWB holster for it?
Yes.
2 words. Phlster Enigma. Kind of voids this whole "base your wardrobe around conceal carry" argument.
The Phlster Enigma is Gimmick on so many levels.
@@noHandle1776 Ive used it for the past 3 years so I can carry in sweatpants. You have no idea what you're even saying right now, kid.
@ far from a kid, 25 years carrying a Glock19, but I’m glad that holster works so well for you.
I just appendix an lcp max. Didn’t need to change my wardrobe or lifestyle one bit. Can still wear slim shirts in the summer without a single issue.
When it gets hot in the summer, I cannot bring myself to wear stiffer pants, i almost always wear fabletics shorts. I found that the MasterMind tactical belt works well because its not actually attached to your pants. Of course, it helps to be in shape as well and not have a gut. It seems like your zero belt would work well for it too
I like the clothing that I normally wear. If you wear tacticool stuff, it just makes you stand out. The only thing you need is a reinforced gun belt
CZ P10 holster release date? 😃
We are allowed to give out release dates.
Just carry a ghost gun. It's invisible. 😂
🤣
Thanks for this video. Heck, even my underwear has been a problematic topic at times when carrying appendix.
I hope you are able to get a HK CC9 holster sometime!
With the sweats and shorts you could use a belly band. Better to switch to that than to not carry it and maybe need it.
Kahala shirts were the preferred shirt of cops in the Los Angeles area when I worked.
More brown zero belts please! ❤
🫡
It’s crazy to carry for over 25 years and right before getting into the apparel business you found out arrowhead got patented lol
You ever heard of people using iwb or even owb conceal holsters with a belt, on the body (no belt loops), but under sweatpants?
Mastermind Covert
Stuff with patterns helps so much
Great video and channel! I didn’t notice a less lethal OC option among your everyday carry items. What is your opinion on carrying OC spray?
OC is an outstanding less lethal option. If I lived in an urban area, I would for sure carry it.
One on each side
I’ve gained a little bit of weight and it actually improved my concealed carry in appendix.
Plop the belly over lol
@@GluteusMaximus808 Or pressed in like in memory foam.😂
Have you looked into or messed with the Comfort Concealment Belt for sweats or joggers? I am curious how effective that is.
I’m leaving California and looking to upgrade my concealed carry rig.
Hi Jeff, in the jacket segment you are shown shooting at the range who makes that jacket? I have been looking for something like that.
I found that Lee extreme motion pants work great for a low-cost option
That black+brown zero belt looks great, I dont see it online, any chance yall are going to carry/stock it again?
The Dark Brown was a limited color run. It may come back eventually. Not sure when.
Cool.
@@tenicorusa Well Christmass is just around the corner.... Maybe my wife will get me the 5 wink wink. Love what you guys do keep up the great work.
Love youre video, but do you have an option, od´r an idea for people who have abit more of a belly? Would love to hear from you.
Do you have a pancake holster that will adjust to almost a horizontal hold on the rear hip , owb, for dig p365 xl?
It’s really pretty easy: good belt, IWB carry with a dark colored shirt.
Me looking at my closet full of wild 80's print shirts: 😲
Just saying !!!
can you or somebody point me to a company than can mold a kydex holster for an HK VP9 sk with a TL-R 4 attachment?!
Thanks for a comment. If you are serious, the right answer is to get rid of that TLR-4.
@ well that sucks 😆
@ thanks for the comment
Pro-teq custom gear.
Do your jeans have a more “high rise” belt line for appendix carry? I find sitting to be uncomfortable with appendix carry.
High rise jeans are much more comfortable for sure especially when carrying.
5:06 mind the clearance on your flannel during your drills. If you carry appendix wearing a fitted flannel and you fumble with your gun, you could die. Shop carefully.
A great gun belt and check pattern or plaid, box hem shirt for me. Usually have a t-shirt on between the firearm/gtfo knife and my body.
Do you buckle your seat belt every time you drive your car?
Was that a G26 in your holster?
Make a video discussing the joys of using a public bathroom while carrying.
Mastermind Covert
(I wear ankle-boot style shoes)
But first. Try not to poop in public… for tons of reasons. 🙃
Keep it strapped on your hip with the Mastermind Covert or why not keep the attached holster on your belt on top of your knees instead of dropping it to the ankle?
The ending was hilarious!
Glad you liked it. 🤙
Good advice with the shirts
