@@elonmusk6654 nah bleach goes way too far than this the story is shortened and changed to fill the movie otherwise half of this does not happen the anime has more than 300 episodes and then there is the manga too it is amazing and ichigo loses his power but in a different way but he gets them back and goes to rescue rukia from soul society and the fights are brought earlier than they are supposed to I wont spoil anything if you want you can go watch it I would recommend tho the animation is bad in the starting I mean the animation is 19's because it was made in early 2000's what can you expect but it becomes godly by the 100 and above episodes and the animation for the realease date is good and nothing crappy about the show is there. I would reccomend

Never thought that I would see the Bleach LIVE ACTION of all things in a movie recap video 😭
Do not be fooled by this tho guys, this movie just covers the first 10-13 episodes of Bleach, watch the anime or read the manga (366 episodes and more than 400 chapters), the plot is amazingly good and so very worth it.
What happens story wise after the movie
rukia will be judged in the soul society and ichigo will come to save her and it will be a very long story to tell but definetly worth it to watch in anime

Okay imma be real. I love Bleach. But lemme tell you when it comes to live action remakes this one is one of the best ones I've seen with anime. Considering how long and how OP Ichigo becomes in the story, this movie does a good job consolidating a lot of the story for a general audience that hasn't seen it before. Honestly solid 4/5

I actually got to watch this fully, and for a live action adaptation, it was pretty good. My only complaint is the final fight, Ichigo doesn’t really use his sword to fight, instead just defend, since it looks like it’s too heavy to lift fully. I don’t know, it was just weird to watch it.

I can't get over the fact that how good of a twist is Ichigo's Mother is a Quincy.
I was confused and in a lot of question that how can she protect Ichigo if she just a normal person because Hollow can't be seen by normal people

I love how they translated the anime Ichigo. Usually, the characters are so different from the anime.
I feel part of that is because unlike most mainstream shounen protagonists, ichigo’s characteristics (reactions, facial expressions, speech patterns, etc.) aren’t exaggerated. Like they’re what you’d imagine from a real life teenage boy. Not that there’s anything wrong with the overtop characteristics of shounen protagonists.

It's interesting because the main characters gains taskmaster (the powers to copy n predict the enemies movement) and the fact he never gave up.

Honestly, this isn't a bad version of the manga and anime, I kind of would be okay with a live action version of Bleach going from this.

Late in commenting on this, but one thing i will say for this movie, is it does not do what many of the Live action adaptations of anime do, and try to put too much into a single films runtime. That mistake was made with Full Metal Alchemist.... Death Note (american version)... Alita Battle Angel, Ghost in the Shell, and Avatar the last Airbender (yes, its an anime, fight me). They kept the story small, telling the origin story of Ichigo and how he becomes a soul reaper, setting up the potential for him and his friends to go to the Soul Society and rescue Rukia in a sequel, (if they ever make one). They set it up so perfectly, the way Attack on Titan set up the ending for the sequel. I really do hope they continue it, even if live action adaptations tend to fall short. I could see in the sequel, Ichigo and his friends (having gained their soul powers) travelling to the SS, only for Ichigo to eventually be defeated and need training, becoming part Hollow, and Rescuing Rukia right before her execution, while combining the one on one fights to one massive battle where each character fights with the reaper they battled in the Anime and Manga. It would condense the story quite a bit, while not taking away from the story itself. It would be interestting to hear your speculations about what they could do for a sequel to BLEACH 2018.

This movie is literally like the first couple episodes when there is 366 episodes in total 🙃. In the show, Captain Byakuya actually is holding the other half of Ichigo's broken blade as he has no idea what happened because he was so fast. Instead in the live action movie, he's just stopping the blade with his fingers. Movie completely ruined one of the best moments in the show and stole that scene when Aizen stops Ichigo's blade with a single finger in the actual show deeper in the anime. Smh

Someone who's seen the movie and hasn't seen the anime isn't going to feel like knowing this small difference is "spoiling" anything for them lol. If anything it would incentivize them more to watch it knowing how much more badass the anime is!

Man that was a good journey where ichigo venture through the world of soul reaper defeating many villians such as hollows,arrancar(just an hollow who remove their mask) and more that i forgot

they have so much more to tell in the live action, i hope there's a part 2. And, I hope they tell the story completely and not this half assed version of bleach.
I'm very interested with the storyline because I've watched almost all of the anime they changed a few things nothing major but my question is are they going to make two more movies because this anime only gets better after they take her back to the soul society to be executed this should've been made more of a mini series than in movie format because of how much more it develops into one of the best anime series ever keeping my fingers crossed and great job u guys 🤔🤨👍❤️💪🔥💯
Nothing major was changed? Rukia training Ichigo to have him transfer her powers back wasn’t in the anime, Ichigo’s friends were all completely cut, the soul reapers arrive for Rukia before Ishida is even introduced, they completely change the context of the duel between the Quincy and soul reapers, along with the result, having it inturrupted, and the grand fisher’s role in the story was completely in favor of being a combo of him and the memos grande that arrived. Nothing major except almost every major plot point in the story and the admission of several characters completely. I mean, good luck having a soul society arc without Uruhara even being mentioned once.
The captain's name is Shoto Aizen the best antagonistic in anime considering he planned ichigo's birth he planned everything.
