Im a mopar guy any day, but i gotta say, thats pretty impressive considering its n/a, got half the displacement, way cheaper, and its probably an older car than the scat. a huge supercharged hemi is my favorite of course, but i like the sound of Japanese engines like this, i have a japanese v6 car, and i love the way it sounds(considering its from 1993) it sounds beautiful because its a 4valve(24 in total) and a quad cam (dohc) which is pretty sweet on a v-type engine. anyways, sick race, and awesome cars!

I'm just a nissan fan in general (technically my car, 2010 G37x, is a skyline (and before anyone gets bent out of shape the R35 is not a skyline it's just GTR)) but nissan was born from auto racing and stick to what they found what works ie. the first v6 they made was the VG30E (first introduced in the 84' Z31 300ZX) and put it in everything then they made the VG30DE then they made the VQ35DE (somewhere in there they made the VR38DETT) then they made the VQ40DE/VQ37DE all being principally the same engine.
You know, I kind of wish we still had stock JDM cars. Like it’s hard to find a stock AE86 or a Supra, for example, since most people have stripped the interiors, engine-swapped them, and given them 1000 BHP.

Vq37 is a wonderful engine but sadly even if it’s tuned full bolt one with upgraded pistons and cams. It’s still going to lose it may put up a better fight unless it’s fully gutted then it will be better. I think the fastest all motor g37 runs around mid 12 seconds. Only Nissan/Infiniti that will give these mopar boys a run for their money are the vr30 motors from the new Z and q50 3.0t or the q60 3.0t.

Oh, no doubt about that. The Z is a sports car. You can take it on a track or back roads and it will hug those curves. The Challenger weighs almost a half ton more and would have to back off those curves.
The Widebody Scat Pack surprisingly pulls .97 lateral G, which is better than the Z. Tighter corners than a skidpad would probably tell a different story though.
They don’t have “shitty engines” shit is damn near indestructible stock lol. They just have a hard time handling boost. If you wanna modify and heavily tune the engine of a mopar save some money and go w an R/T or upgrade to a Hellcat. Both handle boost better than the 6.4L but a scat is an amazing option for a daily driver though. But scat packs are some of the most fun daily driving cars you can have. Extremely reliable, spacious, and more than enough power for day to day commutes. The challenger and charger are the only true muscle cars left that are still in production really. I don’t care enough to beat 5.0s and SS’s. Some people buy these vehicles and their heads and egos become way too big for their own good. Just get what you like man fuck what other people think bc there will be haters no matter what you drive. Just know that if you get a dodge your car is gonna get a ton of unnecessary hate

Since you’ve upgraded to a scatpack, let me tell you that your price to power ratio is complete trash and a very boring car to drive now if you drive a challenger scatpack and it’s manual I’ll eat my words. I respect manual scatpack challengers but I’m assuming 75% of scatpack owners are riding on 4 doors lmao. No manual option on that. Yea your price to power ratio is complete trash, from what I’ve seen on private market you can get a 2022 scatpack for $50k? Whilst a ‘09 370z can cost about $13k full bolt on and e85 that h*e and eat snackpacks all day for under $20k. And if you want boost ssshh that thing would fly. In this video I race my 2010 370z manual transmission with 96-98k miles on motor with aftermarket long tube intakes, test pipes, y pipe and single exit exhaust without a tune or upgraded fueling system VS what seems to be a stock scatpack. That’s not even tuned or anything, imagine the advantage of it being tuned with at least 60+ whp.
Don’t think a tune will add that much to an all motor car.
@@LoXHumaN uhhh yeah bro, my dads got a g37 6 speed sedan. Made 267 rear wheel horsepower. Tuned on 93 made 330 wheel horsepower. It makes a difference.
@@LoXHumaN there is a g37 tuned by admintuning, g37 on E85 and m5, all motor made 400 rear wheel horsepower. Made 130+ over stock.

@@LoXHumaN yeah it does, you’ve gotta do the research. Full bolt on 370z makes about 15 wheel horsepower more over stock. Tuned on pump would he looking over 330. I’ve been to the dyno myself I’ve seen what these cars make stock with bolt ons.
